Close to the beach and price was decent for what we got.

Clean and the rooms are very small. Great for a place to just sleep.

Awesome place to stay right up the street from the beach and the room was bareable. No ammenities but the staff was very polite and courteous.

Decent place to stay. Decent prices. Nothing fancy at all. You pay for what you get.

They never answer the phone.

Rooms were bleak and dirty. Rusty shower. Water damaged ceilings. On street parking. No breakfast. Weird creepy hallways.

No one has been in it for the past 2 weeks. I think it's closed down for good.

Best motel. Dejais is walking distanc and the staff is friendly and helpful. :) I will be back in the summer for sure. The beach is a stones throw away and they have a grear big porch and commom area where you can meet other hotel guests. It is my favorite hotel down the shore. Whenever you are headed dowm there from up north, you know you are headed to a place with all the comforts of home. At the same time you are escaping all the maddness up north and adding life to your summer.

I'd generally characterize this place as gross and sketchy.

DO NOT STAY HERE — FAKE REVIEWS ARE BEING POSTED BY STAFF — horrible, disgusting, dirty hotel. Owners do not care. It's more of a homeless shelter than hotel. No features, shady staff. It's loud and impossible to sleep at night. Stains and hair all over everything.

Family run now of a historic property, located about 1 block off the Belmar Boardwalk. Good value for money, considering the convenient location and booking for a holiday weekend.

Location was prime for going out to bars or hitting the beach. Was pretty clean. A little small and kind of dated as well but was a suitable accommodation for what my friends and I needed for a weekend at the shore. Would return again just because it was in a prime location. Staff was also pretty friendly so no complaints.

The place is not well kept and not worth what we paid for it. When we got there, one of the staff members was outside drinking with people. There's no elevator, ceiling tiles buckling on the way to our room. When we got to the room, it was just so poorly maintained. The floor radiator was open, broken blinds, loose toilet seat, DIRTY toilet, stained carpet, there was wires for the TV just hanging and the TV didn't work, and lipstick stain on the sheets. Ended up going to the car and getting our own blankets. Thankfully we were only there for one night because I promise I wouldn't have stayed longer.

For an overnight room to crash in after a night out in Belmar, the Inn provides simple accommodation within walking distance of the beach and other attractions. Popular with the college crowd, the Belmar Inn provides only nominal amenities: window mounted AC unit, simple room furnishings, and sparce if not lacking bathroom toiletries.

I stayed there for a few months. Both of my rooms wasn't great. Both showers had mold in them. Some of the staff is ok. My first room, the bathroom floor was sinking in. The windows didn't have screens in them. My second room was kind of small. There was a hole in the wall in the bathroom, the toilet leaked, no one came to fix it. The ceiling above the shower was caving in. And they decided not to pay the cable bill so my last two weeks there wasn't pleasant with no TV. They conveniently turn off the hot water off. I was told when u leave u get your deposit back as long as the room is clean. When I left my room was cleaned. They conveniently placed substances on the carpet so they wouldn't give me my deposit back. I don't recommend this place to anyone. The staff conveniently lies to you.

Really live place. Feels modern. Good drinks. By the shore of course. A little too crowded when I went for my personal taste.

It was perfect right near the beach and it was within walking distance to a ton of places to eat and drink. The pillows were very comfortable and the air conditioning was perfect I would definitely stay here again the staff was very concerned with our stay and they did everything in their power to make our stay a lovely one it was the best place to stay in Belmar!

Amazing place. Everything what you need is in walking distance: beach, club, stores, food. I loved the way the room was. There was no extra things. I did have some minor issues with my shower but it was fixed within short period of time. I found every interesting that people were sitting on the porch. I met few amazing people.

Belmar Inn is the only hotel in Belmar that is right across the street from the beach and just 2 blocks away from all the stores and bars on the main strip so all the fun is walking distance. I have been going to the Belmar Inn for 5 years now and always have a great experience. From the moment you walk in, their staff welcomes you, helps you to your room, and makes sure you have everything you need. Their spacious front porch has tables for guests to enjoy the day/night. They also provide a complimentary breakfast from Dunkin Donuts on the weekends that includes coffee, bagels, and pastries. Compared to any other motel in this location, this one offers the most with the best price :)

Great rooms very clean friendly staff.

The inn was okay from the outside. Like other reviews mention, the lobby smells like pot. I almost thought that the inn was going to be better than other reviews mentioned, but soon I realized that this is definitely not a family friendly place. The room definitely did not seem nice and clean. However the inn is quite close to the beach, so if you don't plan on spending much time in your room and are only staying for a night, then this might be an affordable option.

If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay, the belmar inn is NOT the place! The outside appearance was very nice I have to admit, but when I got to my room it was not what I expected. As I walked in, I was hit with a very old moldy smell. There was dust covering the dressers and the tv. The bathroom was extremely small, and the shower even smaller. They only supplied one towel! The sink was held up by two rods. They also only supplied one roll of toilet paper so if your stay was longer then a night you had to buy your own toilet paper. There were only five channels on the television. There was a air conditioner in the window and when I came home from work it was gone. I could never relax because there were kids constantly running up and down the hallway. Every time I walked outside there were always multiple people just hanging out outside all day everyday. It always smelled like pot. I'm pretty sure they did other drugs there as well. A women over dosed and died a few rooms down from me. Over all, I was not comfortable. For the price it was not comfortable at all. I wouldn't Recommend it at all!

I have never written a review before in my life. However, after my experience at the Belmar Inn I feel obligated to let everyone know to avoid it at all costs. Do not let the front appearance fool you! Upon checking into the room we were greeted with dirty carpeting on the floor, dust filled tv, dresser what-have-you, and a musty old smelling aroma that would be conducive to breeding dust mites and probably bed bugs (we thankfully didn't find any… but I'll update you if these elusive creatures wound up coming back with us into the house without us knowing). At first we decided to open up the blinds to see whatever view was out there… well the blinds fell down on us because the devices that hang up the blinds were broken. There were no curtains. The TV has about 5 channels! I was shocked since every hotel I have ever been to recently gets almost all of the major channels. Well not this hotel. I think if I had a few antennae or tin fold I would have gotten more than whatever package they have through direct tv. The bathroom was filthy… a spider was living in the corner and it seems like the web has been there forever. We were given 1 towel even though the reservations said it was for 2 people. We avoided showering for 3 days because of the condition of the bathroom.

It's right down the block from the beach and only a 15 minute walk to Bar A and the Boathouse. The inn is exactly what you would expect it to be, set up dorm style and basically a place for a younger crowd to party and crash.

Its the best place to stay In Belmar! I recommend it to everyone.

We stayed at the Belmar Inn during Memorial Day Weekend last year. We are in our 20s and we were looking for a nice hotel that was affordable and we loved the Belmar inn. We like the location since it's next to the beach and an easy walk to D'Jais and Bar A nightclubs. It's a very quick cab ride down to the beach to Point Pleasant and usually costs around $20 with tip. When we arrived we were early (around 11am) and they got us right into the room which was incredible and we were so thrilled after traveling so early to get there. The staff at the hotel was so helpful especially the guy on front desk who were so helpful every time we needed a cab. There is a 7 eleven that's about a 10 minute walk away if you're up for it it's great for snacks, and waters. There's also a Dunkin Donuts nearby. We are really enjoyed our staying. Thank you for the great time.

The front desk could've been a little more friendly. And the owner beat me out of my money when I decided to find perminant housing.

This place is horrible. $225 a week, you can't smoke in your room, no overnight guests allowed, no guests allowed in the building at all. The place is dirty as hell, the bathroom was gross. The staff is very rude. You go outside to have a cigarette and when people aren't begging you for cigarettes, their asking you for drugs. Drugs drugs drugs that's all I ever hear in the place! People either buying them or selling them. Also, if you stay there more than one night, the staff comes in your room when your not there and helps themselves to your stuff. But hey at least there ain't any roaches. That's the only good thing I can say. Oh yeah and the HDTV they offer, you get like 2 Philly stations in your room on a non windy night and that's if you're really lucky.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed: dirty, shabby, and expensive. $200+ for a bed like a hammock. Shower was gross, toilet seat falling off, faucet failing off the pedastel. Towels were rags. Bathroom faced 12th ave. And had no blinds or curtain on the window. When we requested something, they installed a plastic blind that only covered 2/3 the width of the window. What a dump. Caulk an inch thick everywhere. Yuch. Motif is 1980 Value Engineered, everything cheapest of the cheap. I would sooner sleep in my car.

I need to let you know how awesome my stay here was. First off the staff here is so amazing they immediately made me feel like ive known them for years. If I needed something it was there within second. The rooms are just perfect for anyone and you cant beat the the ocean in a few houses away. Also there are in minutes of all the great bars and restaurants around. Plus they can order your alcohol for you and have it delivered right to you! CANT FORGET THE FREE DUNKIN DONUTS BREAKFAST EVERY WEEKEND! CANT WAIT TO COME BACK TO SEE EVERYONE! (LIZ, SAM, DEE ND FRANK) :).
