I came up for an overnight stay with my teenage daughter and we both thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Inn. Warm welcome, help for my daughter, who flew in separately, and delicious hot coffee and oatmeal in the morning. Great location and comfortable bed.

Location is great for the Middlebury College Parents!

Nice enough. Only continental breakfast. Bathroom very small if you are 6'3".

Quaint rooms in Middlebury near downtown. Walking distance to various food and drink options. Nice breakfast in bed option, although we did not take advantage of it. We had a plumbing issue when we checked in, but management took care of it quickly.

Best place to stay if you’re visiting Middleberry! They have for breakfast in bed and the rooms are impeccable.

This place is so quaint and beautiful! A gorgeous restored building with simple but comfortable rooms and a charming and helpful staff. Highly recommended!

I don’t leave reviews often but this is much deserved. We stayed here for a treat to my wife on Mother’s Day with our two daughters. Right when we got there we were given the best treatment by Brenda and her husband Bruce. They put their heart into the whole experience and it shows in the smallest details. From the cleanliness to the quality of breakfast offerings, it is hands down the best place I have stayed with my family. We are not wealthy by any means, but the room was very affordable for level of excellence that is offered here. I will recommend the Inn on the Green to all of my friends, family, or anyone who will listen to me blabber on about it. We WILL be back here in the future. That is a promise.

Nice clean rooms in a good spot in the center of town.

Friendly staff, clean spacious rooms, and a nice breakfast in bed too! Little on the pricy side, but 10/10 would absolutely stay again! Very centrally located and what really impressed me is the bikes you can use to ride around town!

Our room was in the carrage house on the first floor. Very clean and nice. It was quite after all the guests checked in. The breakfast was very good. The host was friendly.

This is a charming inn, and Bruce and Brenda are wonderful hosts. We have stayed here several times and are always happy to return.

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend we were married. We decided on a whim that we would just drive and see where we ended up. That place was Middlebury and The Inn on the green. Beautiful place and the staff was amazing. Thank you all at the Inn for making our wedding weekend that much more special. We'll definitely be back.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I was supposed to stay two nights, but missed the first night because of a plane connection. Breakfast is served in your room every morning. I had the best croissants of my life here. I believe they come from a local bakery. There is an evening turn down service as well. The only reason I have to knock it one star is because there was an issue with the hot water one morning and I had to take a cold shower : (Apparently, this is super rare, and many locals say wonderful things about the place. Not the best place to watch TV. And I really prefer a full size ironing board. Nothing worse than trying to iron a man's dress shirt on a travel sized ironing board on top of the bed. Overall, it was a good experience.

It was a very pleasant, and rustic atmosphere. The owners were very kind and accommodating. The breakfast was huge and very delicious. Overall was a wonderful stay which me and my partner may make again in the coming months.

Bruce, Brenda and the entire staff were kind, accommodating, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We have stayed there twice; once in the main house and once in the carriage house. Both rooms were equipped exactly as the website states, were clean and very comfortable. The nightly turn down service and breakfast were added bonuses! Bruce and Brenda offered suggestions of sights to see, directions, plus wonderful conversation about the area. Location was perfect for walking downtown as well. Will definitely stay there again if we are in the area!

Our favorite place to stay when in Middlebury. We always feel like we are home. Love love love!

Great experience during my stay.

My troop of older HS Girl Scouts planned this weekend of skiing, B&B and restaurants completely on their own, and we loved every minute of it. The Inn on the Green was an excellent choice. Central to everything in town yet quiet, good price, and beautiful rooms. Our room was the Lincoln Room, which has doors on the ceiling. :) The owners and staff were welcoming and the breakfast was top notch. Highly recommended.

Bruce, Brenda, and the entire Inn on the Green staff, go out of their way to ensure our visiting artists are comfortable and well taken care of during their stay. They make note of the preferences of our returning guests, and truly make Middlebury feel like a "home away from home. " While we generally "provide" the lodgings for our artists, some have even stipulated in their contracts that we must put them up at the Inn on the Green. Coming from performers who have traveled the world, I can think of no higher praise.
