I have NEVER had anyone treat my family so horribly! My husband booked our room online. He booked it for him and I as we were not sure our children would be joining us (they are 7 and 5). We checked into our room and left to get dinner. When we got back we allowed our children to play on their swingset. At this point, the owner came right up to the window of my car where I was sitting and asked us if we were staying at his motel. We said yes and showed him our key. To this he said he NEVER would have given us a middle room if he knew we had kids and we needed to come inside so he could speak to us. My husband went in where he was spoken to very rudely and my daughter came out and told me the man was being mean to them. I decided to go in to see what the problem was. He wanted to raise the price of our room by another $100 because of having children in the room. My problem was not with that, but the fact that the owner continued to raise his voice when speaking to us and when I asked why he was yelling at us he said he already told my husband the answer to MY questions. I decided my young children did not need to listen to someone speaking that way and when I told them we were going outside… he laughed at me and mocked me! Neither my husband or I EVER raised our voice or were rude, yet he felt he could treat us that way with our young children in the room. We left with very upset children and disgusted that someone would treat people that way!

It's a good place. The room is not sparkling new but very well maintained. Owners are nice people. It's a good place, especially by Killington standards.

Rooms are comfortable and functional, but it is the owners that make this place worth 5 stars. They are so friendly and accommodating, treating everyone like family. Breakfast was fresh picked berries from the backyard, fruit from the farmer's market, and homemade treats. The coffee is roasted fresh on site and is the best!

Comfy, clean and spacious room. The breakfast was amazing with fresh fruit, pancakes, banana bread, eggs, and lots more. Would love to stay here again!

Nice, clean motel, and Steve (the owner) makes absolutely killer blueberry pancakes and self-roasted coffee (not to be misssd! ). Did I mention that breakfast is included in the price of the room (what? ). Highly recommended!

Such a wonderful motel. Had extra pillows and blankets in the room. Very clean. Motel owner went out of his way to go purchase diet drinks after my younger sister informed him that she was a diabetic. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the owners make you feel right at home. Will definitely be returning!

Great motel and for the price at such a high dollar area. Clean rooms and convenient location. Decent size rooms also. I stay here often and skiing is my focus. I don't need a luxury suite for a room when I'm skiing. In fact I want the opposite. Simple, good orice, clean and saves money for high lift ticket prices.

Skier's/ Rider's paradise short ride to/ from the mountain. Simple, perfect. Hot shower, clean towels, hooks to hang your gear, park in front of your room door for easy in & out. Great hosts. Thank you to Killington Motel.

Hotel — First things first, the breakfast is amazing! The blueberry pancakes are to die for and the coffee is roasted on site! The owners are incredibly kind and helpful from pointing out restaurants and nightlife to explaining where you can print lift tickets (if you bought them online) so you don't have to stand in line at will call in the morning. Very clean room, free Wi-Fi, two beds, table and chairs, plenty of room to keep your ski equipment in the room (and not trip over it all the time). Location-closed to Killington road maybe 10 minute drive. Great if you get to the mountain and realize you forgot something and overall convenience. Also close to all sorts of shops, restaurants etc! Would stay here again!

Love the coffee there. They roast it right there and you can buy it and take it home with you. Whole bean or ground nice variety. Smells great. You can order online as well and after testing it… you will.

Great deal just on RT4 like 3 miles from the lifts. Really good deal probably the best in the area, big rooms, small fridge, decent little flat screen, dresser room fan, sofa, table and chairs, big window, queen sized bed, dates but super clean. Bathroom dated but great hot water and powerful shower. Family owned, free awesome breakfast, fruit, muffins, coffee, OJ, juices, owner makes u choice of pancakes or sandwiches. Really cool area, safe, super clean, quaint!

The Killington Motel was a pretty good place to stay. Under 10 minute drive to Killington Ski Resort. The motel had a decent sized room, with a bed, small living area, and okay bathroom. They also had a small complimentary breakfast each morning. The perfect place to stay when you're looking for a relatively cheap overnight stay (which is what we did). The room was a bit dated though. The bed and couch weren't the most comfortable and the room itself had a slightly odd smell. For the price you're paying and convenience to the mountain, I would recommend this to others.

Clean but musty, you can tell that people smoked in the rooms previously. The walls are thin enough that you can hear your neighbor's conversations, the mini fridge is loud enough to keep you up at night. Use something for white noise. Outlets are sparse and the look and feel is dated. The beds are average but the room spacious. 3.5 stars overall. It is clean and safe but overpriced. I'd like to add half a star for the great free breakfast.

Reasonably priced, good location, good free breakfast with stay. No Wi-Fi, coffee maker, or microwave in room, but there is a small refrigerator.

Dropped in here while hiking the Appalachian Trail. It's not fancy, it is clean and comfortable. The pool needed some maintenance, but the water was super clean. Very well manicured facility overall. They roast and sell their own coffee!

Great adventure, nice services accommodate my family without any problems. Only downside is the bed where I started sleeping. Could not sleep on that bed too soft and not level.

Nothing like a good first impression! Steve was very helpful when I called to book the room. Rooms themselves are what you'd expect of a motel, but the friendliness, the blueberry pancakes for breakfast make it a great choice in Killington. And they're pet friendly.

I hate to write this review because I don't want others to know how great it is, but the owners are so nice and do such an amazing job that they deserve the recognition. Modest clean rooms and a fantastic breakfast is all you really need when going skiing. Reasonable rates and less than 10 minutes to Snowshed or the gondola. The breakfast they provide is a real home cooked breakfast too! Pancakes, eggs, muffins, gourmet coffee, yogurt, fruits, and on and on. Best free breakfast I have ever had anywhere. Can't go wrong here.

A bit noisy at night but the breakfast was amazing.

Never dealt with a more unprofessional staff in all my life. We had an extra person come with us at the last minute and when we sat down to eat breakfast he cursed at us because we didn't tell him about the extra person. We offered him money but he continued to berate us. It ended up being a blessing as we stayed at the butternut inn which had much nicer rooms, better breakfast, and a way more professional staff. Don't book here!

I'd give this place ZERO stars if I could. The owner "Steve" kicked us out of the motel after our first night, bc we had three people in our room & not two when I booked it. (last minute guest on our trip). Steve cursed me off, and called me "rude" over this instead of just charging me more money for the one extra person. Complete scumbag with zero professionalism! The breakfast was terrible & the rooms are completely outdated. Book somewhere else!

I have never run into such friendly staff. Very homey and accommodating. Rooms are clean and breakfast is given with a smile.

The owners are extremely nice. The cats are a warm welcome. The main reason we come every year other than the hospitality is the amazing breakfast served. More than your typical continental lay out. They go above and beyond making blueberry pancakes and egg sandwiches. This is the only place we stay going to the mountain.

Nice accommodations, very polite owners and a fantastic breakfast with homemade pancakes and granola, and freshly roasted (single origin! ) coffee. Stayed here while skiing in Killington and I highly recommend it.

Great value, large motel rooms, pleasant breakfast with owners. Feel of B&B with privacy of Motel. Roast and grind their own coffee.

The nicest owners, great rooms, big bathrooms. And oh yeah, the BEST breakfast and their own fresh roasted coffee you will ever have. Stayed for a bridal shower and already rebooked for the wedding. Can not wait for more of those blueberry pancakes and homemade muffins/breads! price is great compared to the wedding package deal that Killington ski resort offers.

Love the Killington Motel! This is our third year back, and we'll keep going as long as they're in business. We do a leaf-peeping trip every October, and the rates are very reasonable given the peak season of our visits. As other reviewers have noted, the breakfast is outstanding. The owners are willing to go out of their way to accommodate you (example: they gave us an end unit away from the other guests' rooms so we would have a quiet environment for our infant to nap and so we wouldn't disturb anyone else if she woke up crying). The location is fantastic — — right in the middle of everything. I'd give it four and a half stars for the dated decor, but the rooms are clean and cozy and that's really what's important at this price point. Highly recommended.

Traveling on motorcycles, my husband and I along with 2 other couples came across this motel by chance. It was great. The rooms were neat and clean, the location was perfect and the breakfast was superb. The rates were so cheap we couldn't believe it. We are going back this summer on our way through to Niagara Falls. What a great find.
