The food is always amazing, the guiness was frothy with a shamrock hand drawn in the foam, and the building is a charming. We try to get there as often as we can.

First time staying here and we enjoyed it to the fullest! Skiing, dinner, drinks were delightful and the staff were exceptional! Owen, Bob and Cami were such a pleasure! The staff truly appreciates their customers and treats them like family. The only thing we wish it had was a TV but it was not a deal breaker. The Inn is authentic and beautiful with a fire place and live music on the weekends. We will definitely be coming back!

First time staying here — will definitely be back. Awesome service, friendly and welcoming staff. Great food, great live music on weekends. Clean rooms. Great outdoors activities right out the front door. Fire in the living room constantly roaring is always refreshing. Just an awesome place.

The food was really good, I enjoyed EVERYTHING they served throughout the weekend! The live music was amazing and fun! And every single staff member was extremely helpful and so nice to me and my entire family! My kids didn’t want to leave! Thank you so much for the great experience! Quiet this time of year which is great. Brogan at the bar is super nice. He can’t wait until the slopes open for the season.
Very eclectic decor and the Inn is very cozy.
The Guinness stew was yummy and the beer (I was drinking Smithwicks) of course was also good and the perfect temperature.
I highly recommend this place to stop by on the way to Killington or beyond.

We had an AWESOME time at McGrath's. Definitely will stay at the inn soon. The food was awesome, we recommend the ribs and Guinness Stew, but really, if you like homey, filling food, you can't go wrong! We were happy to have some Irish soda bread, it was served warm and fresh. The staff was efficient and friendly. The Hotel is rustic, and interesting interior features, very fun. In the pub, it's a classic casual Irish pub, and they have Irish music on the weekends. There is a more formal dining room as well. It was exactly what we were looking for!

The folks there are the greatest. Warm friendly and always helpful. They pour the best pints on the mountain as well. Stay there, it makes it even more fun!

We enjoyed our first stay at the Inn at Long Trail. Everyone was very welcoming from Okie at the front desk to Bob and Owen at the onsite pub. The food was amazing and they had a room full of games for you to enjoy. The room was great as well. Definitely had that "Homey" feel all the way through. They had the Blarney Rebel Band playing both nights as well as a great Halloween Party! We will definitely be back! Keep up the top notch service everyone and thank you for making us feel so welcome! This is my kind of place. Great Irish pub. They know how to pour a Guinness and have great comfort food as well. Looks like there is a good amount of live music I want to check out. Great atmosphere.

Very quaint & cozy place to spend the night or a few days. Great restaurant, food & a bar w/ amazing bartenders. Everyone is very friendly here.

Best place in killington to stay. The pub is amazing & always has some good Irish music playing or has a live band. & the food is out of this world. Highly reccomend the Inn at Long Trail. & the staff & owners are always hands on & oh so friendly!

Very quant and homey feel. The economy rooms do not have AC or a TV, but the Vermont temperatures make AC unneeded, and TV isn't what you should be doing on vacation anyways. The breakfast is made to order and included, and huge perk and heads and shoulders above other hotel free breakfast. The pub is also great, the staff are very welcoming and the bartender really takes a interest in his customers.

This place has a lot going for it. It is cozy and rustic with much charm. Service in the pub was super fast. Food was good especially the spinach salad. Breakfast was included with the room and was great. Would have given 5 but my room faced busy, noisy highway and with no AC you have to keep the window open, thank goodness for ear plugs.

Great place to stop on the Long Trail (or AT) hike. Food was great, Owen (the bartender) was super nice and knowledgeable, and not only did they have a washer and dryer but they had a change of clothes to wear while washing. Cheap rooms to share with friends, didn't even have to make a reservation. Will be sure to visit again while skiing at Pico/Killington in the winter.

I am currently staying here, spent good money on this hotel for a tight room which looks like a motel. Could be better.

I wish I could give 4.5 stars, as this inn was close to perfect. The pub and live music was great, the breakfast was amazing, and the decor is rustic and quaint. Some minor nitpicks though: the Wi-Fi didn't reach my room, and there was a hair in my French toast. The latter isn't really a big deal for me, but it might freak some people (namely those who haven't been in the woods for the last week) out a little bit. All in all, I would recommend. Everyone was very friendly.

Cosy hotel / B&B with a restoran and bar. Has large common area with fire place, indoor hot tub. Food is excellent, both breakfast (included) and dinner. Live Irish music in the bar on weekends. Prices are very reasonable. Close to ski area.

This inn was just perfect. We randomly picked it out for a weekend of amazing skiing and couldn't have been more lucky. The suite we got was warm and comfortable. Three hot tub was nice even though the jets weren't working at the time. The food was delicious, couldn't get enough of the Rubin. The bar has live music and a wonderful bar tender named Owen. We will be coming back here as often as we can.

Homey inn 10 min from Killington. Everyone is very welcoming, food is delicious and there's a great Irish pub.

Best thing — its old. Worst thing — its old. Log cabin and Irish theme, Some rooms have separate sink and bathroom. Showers are good. band plays pretty late on saturday. 3rd floor was quiet. paid 250 saturday/night for double and twin old beds, tight room and bath. included average dinner for two and good breakfast. a fair price would be 180 with dinner peak ski season weekend.

Came for the Irish music they have every weekend. I am not typically a fan of folk music but the guy was extremely talented. Ordered the Irish bangers and they were incredible. Some of the best carmelozed onions I have ever had.

We have been staying at the Inn at Long Trail 4 many years for New Years. This time was very disappointing. Three times we had dinner. It took forever. And we had to send food back because it was cold. No hot tub. The bar was so cold u couldn't stay in there. Last day, they ran out of food for the buffet breakfast. Waited 40 minutes got out of there went to dunkin donuts and went home.

Of all the Pubs that I've had the honor of playing at over the last 55 years, The Inn at Long Trail, (McGrath's), ranks in the top 10. Great venue, great ownership & staff, great patrons… and great memories. My best to all, have a great 2018.

Great place! Have been coming here for over 10 years. Service is outstanding. Food is superb.

Room was $115 for Saturday night. Super expensive for what you get. No AC, fridge/microwave, Wi-Fi didn’t reach the room, room was pretty small. The free breakfast was good though along with the Irish pub.

Great place to catch a beer and enjoy some live music. Very special place to visit in the killington area. Good chance you'll run into some app hikers with stories to tell.

Had a wonderful lunch here. It was surprisingly not busy, even though it was a weekend. Tried a half Long Trail Ale and half Guinness which was very good. Beef stew and burger was good too. Bartender was chill and had some good stories. Way better than eating on the mountain.

Stopped in for dinner. Both of the servers were friendly. The service was quick, had our Guinness in a short time. I ordered the Guinness stew and it was great. They had a band while we were there. Would stop in again.

Love the Inn at Long Trail. We found it by accident a few years ago and have returned for a long weekend of skiing every year since. The Inn is conveniently located a short drive from Killington Mountain and there's plenty of night life nearby. The Inn not only has a great restaurant but also an awesome Irish pub/bar attached to it too — great for a drink and some live music. Friendly staff. Decent rooms. Super chilled ski lodge vibe. We love it.

Stopped by the pub for dinner/drinks for a bachelor party. The bartender (Owen), was one of the best barkeeps I've had the pleasure to meet; introduced himself, and remembered your name the remainder of the night. All the while, he kept taking orders and serving drinks. A man who loves his craft. The atmosphere was amazing and the menu featured traditional and authentic Irish foods. All in all, a great time, a great experience and am looking forward to returning.

My Husband, Brother in Law and Sister in Law and I spent the weekend here last week and we had a wonderful time and will definitely be staying here again. The Inn is rustic, inviting, clean, fun and comfortable; the entire staff is delightful, friendly and accommodating, the restaurant served delicious food at every meal, and McGrath's Pub (on the premises) served a perfect Guinness and had a wide variety of other beer and drinks and had a very talented Irish band play both nights. I can't say enough positive things about the Inn and I highly recommend staying here when visiting the Killington area. The Inn is perfect for a romantic weekend and a great place to take the family (there is a game room with plenty of toys to keep children occupied) for a weekend of fun, adventure and relaxation. The owners were very friendly and treated us like family as did the entire staff. 5 Star property!

A wonderful place! My (now) husband and I stayed here almost 3 years ago on our first weekend getaway destination with each other. We recently got married nearby and had to make a pit stop at McGrath's for nostalgia's sake. What was intended to be a quick bite to eat and a beer turned into a fantastic evening filled with great conversation, great food (the cauliflower curry soup was so yummy! ), and a nice buzz (from the friendly staff and patrons — the beer selection helped too! ). The innkeeper, Murray, has an infectious laugh that is just as we remembered from 3 years ago! The atmosphere is inviting — especially if you want to feel like you've gone on vacation to the Emerald Isle, and the staff makes you feel like family. Thanks, McGrath's!

Stopped in for a burger pretty early on in the day (before the live music so I missed that entirely) was an interesting Irish themed atmosphere. The burger was impeccable, but the chips that came with it were out of the bag "ruffles" which toned down the hype for the meal. Still a great experience and would recommend in the future. It's right next to long trail where it's the AT so great spot for hikers too.

Great place to grab a quick drink after a hike. Service was great, food was good, drinks were cold. One of our party didn't have shoes and they came with a pair of crocs to accommodate us.

I'm a big Long Trail hiker, so I'm totally biased. But I make up reasons to visit here whenever I come to Vermont. The combination of the constant stream of hikers in the summer, the cozy Irish bar that serves awesome, salty food, and the constantly better than I expect breakfast makes this one of my favorite places in the world.

A rustic inn & Irish Pub located in the Green Mountains of Vermont. Popular with hikers on the Appalachian and Long trails. The food is excellent, a full breakfast is included and is cooked to order. The Irish pub features live music in the evenings, try their beef stew. The rooms are small and dated but quaint. Dogs are welcome and the staff is super. A great place to hang out and relax or to go hiking in scenic Vermont n.

Best homemade guinness beef stew I ever had.

What a legendary place! As a Long Trail thru-hiker, the setup was fantastic. We arrived in the rain and Owen came from the bar to kindly greet us, telling jokes, and asking questions about the trail. He set us up with a room, gave us our packages, and also gave us a change of clothes that we could wear while we did our laundry. Additionally, there is a hiker box with tons of food and fuel. Great place to restock. After cleaning up, we headed down to McGrath's, where Murray took great care of us. What a legend Murray McGrath is, as the this owner can tell stories, bartend, wait, and just be a very hospitable person. We decided to stay an extra day! I can't wait to return in the winter for a weekend night!

This is the best place to stay after a long hike on the AT/LT, or after a great day of ski. The owners and property management (Okie) are the absolutely sweetest humans there are. I love every minute I am at the Inn. Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring, this is a stop you need to make. Oh, and the food, TO DIE FOR. Highest recommendation.

Super home-y place. Pros: cozy Irish pub with surprisingly good food, hearty breakfast to fuel up for the slopes, very quiet in the suites, musical instruments and games abound, relaxing in the hot tub, friendly staff. Cons: no king beds, hot water was very slow arriving, didn't plow the drive so had a tough time with parking after a big snow.

I was up there 7 years ago, and still can taste the fine food. It is just a great place to go and relax and ski in the winter, also. I went in the Spring and again in the Fall and love it there. Hope to get back some day.

First time driving thru this area on way back to Adirondak Park from Ocean. Food very good, owner talked to us write s while @the bar, gave us area info, very personable staff/goods service — Great Irish pub built around Vermont Green Mountain boulders! In the heart of ski and Appalachian hiking trail country. Gorgeous- This is definitely the type of place you want to come back and visit! Thank you :).

Very good food, atmosphere, staff, and they even do a nice, deep, and clean clover on the Guinness.

Awesome for Hikers, laundry service and plenty of games to play in the game room for the night! Room was simple but nice. Food is amazing and the breakfast was splendid! Will stay here again when I thru-hike! Great staff and service.
