Another great stay at Sandcastles! Ashley and Felicia are terrific office managers and I really appreciate the extra effort to ensure our stay is perfect. Nice to see so many repeat guests year after year. I do have to mention that I was there the evening of the "bug girl's" episode. Straight from her words, she likely picked up the bug from the beach and it climbed in while she was sleeping. It's amazing that she posted all those lies. Another curious thing is after they checked out, my sister and I were peering in the room to see the layout. We didn't see any clothes in there.
I have contemplated hiring a lawyer after my stay at this hotel. I have tried to reach the owner, Carl Sisto multiple times regarding my stay and have been told I "absolutely may not speak to him". First issue with my stay: I ended up in the emergency room in the middle of the night because a giant beetle (image attached) crawled into my ear canal while I was sleeping in the hotel room at the sandcastle inn in Westerly RI. The bug began clawing and biting my dear drum. I am still in pain and may have permanent hearing loss. Second issue: I accidentally left clothes hanging in the room when I checked out of the room. I was told I could come back and check the lost and found. Due to being away, the earliest I could get back to Westerly was a week after I checked out. I found the hangers my clothes had been on next to the lost and found however my clothes were missing. I asked to speak to the person who cleaned my room, suggesting that she may have put the clothes somewhere else. I was told I was "absolutely not going to talk to her". I proceeded to try to walk back to the area where she was when the hotel manager started screaming at me to get off 'HER' property or she was going to call the cops. (Please note that I was holding my 1-year old son at the time and my 5-year old daughter standing next to me was scared out of her mind. ) I left the property. I think it's incredibly unfortunate that Carl, the owner, is not aware of how his staff is treating his customers.

From what I saw of the rooms they were very nice. Beds look so comfortable. (We were visiting family that stayed there). This place is right on the water. Beautiful view of you have a room on the beach side. Very casual.
