A nice clean hotel on Rt. 1, not far from the beach. Easy in and out access. Nice pool area. Clean and quiet. Great for a nice 1 or 2 night getaway. Located just a couple miles from downtown Westerly and the beach. A good price and would gladly stay here again.

Very nice Wish we could have stayed longer. We loved the grounds. They had a pool and picnic areas with gas grills and also a huge outdoor fireplace. They also are pet friendly. We plan to stay again.

It was perfect for our vacation Our. Grandson 6 loved the pool and play area The staff was great and the owners on site very devoted with thier place keeping it nice Was extremely nice and very welcoming See you next year thank you again aqua star westerly.

I definitely have to say that this was our best choice. There was a mix up with the age to stay at this hotel but the lady was so understanding and kind about it. Our room had nice hard wood floors with one of the best beds I’ve slept in! To top it off they have a beautiful unground pool, fire place and grill! Also It’s only a 8 minute ride to the beach! Thank you sooo much Aquastar Inn for making our weekend agaway great!

I'm not even going to give a star because this place was horrible. Room 105 had the worst bed that sunk in the middle. The woman who checked us in was so rude and acted like we were bothering her. When we got in our room there was no face clothes and it just had a smell. Never again. When I asked about food was told rudely that not until memorial day. Not worth the money. Never again. I had to give one star but I don't mean it.

This is a pleasant motel with clean rooms-they smell nice and are well-appointed, especially for the price. The staff don't bug you unless you need something, which is great when you want peace and quiet. The location is close to various useful things in Westerly like Walmart and gas stations.

Low end motel. Clean, but accommodations are very basic. Some clients are long-term renters who occasionally cause disturbances.

They r dirty & won't tell u about any specials be careful they will get u.

Extremely overpriced at $230 for a room with 1 king sized bed. Room was clean, but toilet was loose and rocking when you sit on it.

Great place. Friendly staff and clean well appointed rooms await you. They also have a very nice pool area.

Easy to get to. 5 minutes from beach. Close to supermarket/dinning/pharmacy/airport. Basic inn. Very clean. Bed was soft w good linens.

We did not expect much from this place when we booked a last minute Memorial Day excursion to Westerly. We were very pleasantly surprised. The room was clean with new hardwood floors. The bathroom was spacious and quite clean. The grounds were being redone with a new man-made bubbling brook. Staff was very polite and we will be booking again soon.

I have been staying there for many years, the owners are awesome and the staff is great. I absolutely love this place. I just stayed for two weeks and will continue to go back, thank you mita and Bj for always treating us so good! ☺

My fiancé and I stayed here unfourtunately. We reserved the room on a card and told the office we would pay in cash when we got there. When we arrived we paid cash and then they charged our card anyway and when we complained they said they couldn't refund our money. After an hour of arguing with the owner they gave us our cash back. The pool had not been cleaned bugs galore the hot tub wasn't working and the room was filled with sand and moldy smell. This is by far the worst place we have stayed in misquamicut. Dont stay here!

I'm from Massachusetts and have stayed at this motel many times in the past but this past reservation was impossible to keep. I have NEVER cancelled in the past but due to a medical emergency, I just couldn't make it. I was prepared to provide more than sufficient evidence of the injury that I had sustained in order to NOT lose $129.95 for one nights stay but they didn't care. I had to cancel due to this injury and they insisted they still have to charge me for the room. They would not discuss or try to negotiate another week day where I could use it instead of losing it altogether. It was a WEEK DAY… not even a weekend! I offered to fax the medical report and ER summary to them as proof but they still said it didn't matter. I have recommended this place to many people not only because of the convenience to nearby stores and ocean but for the service provided. Aquastar told me that so many others have attempted to use the excuse of a medical emergency and its the very reason why they don't issue refunds. I just want people to know: DO NOT PREPAY FOR THIS PLACE! You will surely be able to walk in and get a room as it has never been full of people at any time while I've been there. Shame on them for not considering the circumstances of this situation as I have been a loyal customer for many years. I have unfortunately downgraded my opinion of this motel. I've rated this 1 star because there wasn't anything lower… it was a 4.

My mother stayed here over the weekend so she could spend time with her grandkids. She had them go swimming with her. The kids were kicked out of the pool because they were not registered guests. Never have we experienced this at other hotels. No where on the websites does it say you can't have company use the pool. I am appalled by the owner who yelled at us. But said nothing to the group of kids who were smoking weed at a picnic table by the pool. I do not recommend this hotel if you plan on having family come to see you there.

Language barrier. Flop house like tenants, d. E. A. Overdue for indictments. Avoid if possible.

Clean & decent room with welcoming friendly staff. Not fancy by any means but good for a place to sleep. No frills but a great price. Convenient location.

Ok to stay at for 1 night. Keep in mind, breakfast is only available Memorial Day — Labor day.

Drove up, requested a room for 3 on spur of the moment. Rate was $85… not bad. Room was small but clean. Nice in ground pool, very clean. Small touches in landscaping, picnic tables, small swing set and fountain with koi showed improvements are in progress. Noticed two grills one gas and one charcoal and asked if we could use one. No problem and hamburgers were awesome from grocery store right down the road. No hassle staying until checkout time. No continental breakfast and in room coffee was pretty bad, otherwise good value for the price.

Worst motel I'v ever been to. The second we walked in the door we inspected the room. The room instantly smelt stuffy and disgusting. We checked the beds to make sure there weren't any bugs but instead we and found blood stains on the sheets. Later on in our stay we found 2 ticks, and a flea in our beds; on top of that the shower was broken in a room situated for 4 people. When we called to get it repaired the man looked at it, and said he would be back to fix it the next day and never showed up. ALSO, we never got room service and it was a pain to check out without a fight. It appeared not to only be us that had issues with their room because we saw a lady complaining that her toilet was not working. Please do not stay here. Unless you want to come to a "clean" room with bloody sheets, bugs, and no room service.

False advertising. Had the option of two motels within my budget on a Saturday night, went with this place despite it being more expensive because the staff and their website advertised CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST which it does not provide unless it's a holiday or some BS.

Where to start — 1st room 105 smelled like a septic tank, why you ask well that would be because the septic system was right outside the window, 2nd room 111 MOLD all over the bathroom, dirty floors and No hot water from the bathroom sink, ripped bathroom window treatment. We had people outside our room window until 1 in the morning talking VERY LOUD camped out in their chairs, I couldn't sleep around 2am walked outside to see a girl in her bra and panties and a guy in his boxers running around the parking lot. The place is just nasty, nasty. If the room was under $100.00 I would say you get what you pay for, but when you pay $175.00 for one night one would think it would be an okay place — thought wrong.

I went here with my boyfriend on a last minute beach trip and honestly I don't know what all the complaints are about. It was clean, looked exactly like the pictures on the website and the room included everything described on the website.

Me, my mother, my son, and his friend made a last minute decision to stay over night in Westerly RI, we went to the chamber of commerce and they gave a list of hotels in the area. The Aqua Star Inn was a very quaint place to stay. The boys loved the pool as did I. The water was crystal clear, very clean, and warm. The landscaping was very nice, there were flowers everywhere, fire pits, picnic tables, even a playscape for the little kids. They also had a waterfall and little stream and pond! The staff there were very friendly and accommodating, and it was very reasonably priced. The room were a little small, but you don't spend much time in them. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom as well. The A/C was very cold, we had to turn it down it worked so well. We similar motels around and by far this was the least expensive and great amenities for the price. We are planning on returning to spend a week next summer, the weekly rates are great as well. Overall we had a great time and were very happy with the Aqua Star. Thanks so much and see you next summer.

Seriously the most disgusting place I've ever stayed at. The room is ridiculously tiny for the $150 we had to pay. You would expect the room to be half way decent. The shower curtain is covered in mold as well as the shower. I have to cocoon the toilet seat with toilet paper in fear I will contract a disease. If that wasn't bad enough, as I was about to lay down, I pulled back the covers on the bed to find dozens of hairs all over the pillow. I'm seriously contemplating sleeping on the floor at this point for it is probably more sanitary than the bed. The room is also infested with bugs and it is drawing our attention away from the murder mystery channel: basically the only thing to watch on the basic cable from the 80's tv. The microwave that was promised must be invisible, because no one can find it anywhere. And beware! You might trip and crack your head open after your midnight pee because the floors have dips the size of potholes. And I just noticed that the room is full of bloodthirsty mosquitoes as well. Icing on the cake! I probably haven't covered everything about this nasty motel room, but I feel that I have made my point. Seriously, for your own sake, do not stay here. At least there was Wi-Fi so I could write this review, but I'm pretty sure it's not even from this motel. I will try to survive the rest of the night in this nasty little room and save the rest of you guys the trouble of even considering staying at this place.
