I think they're trying to drive people away! DO NOT go here! My fiance and I planned a weekend getaway to celebrate a last "hoorah" before the birth of our first baby. We booked the hotel with a king bed, and even called a day before to confirm the booking. Upon arrival the manager stated she had us booked for 2 double beds. We pulled up the reservation on our IPhone and showed her how it read KING bed. I'm pregnant and no way able to share a double bed, so our romantic getaway meant sleeping separate. Instead of apologizing and trying to fix the problem, she stated Oh there's no more king bedrooms available, we are totally overbooked this weekend. It was clearly the fault of the hotel for over booking them, yet she did not take ownership of the problem. And she is the MANAGER. I actually would have been OK with a sincere apology. So feeling like our romantic getaway was severely hindered by having to sleep in separate beds I began to cry. My fiancee and I have barely traveled together and we have a tight budget, so going away a spending $400 on a hotel room was extravagant for us. I felt very taken advantage of by the company. The manager then said again there was nothing she could do, gave a quick apology and then said we would be expecting a surprise shortly to our room. Feeling relieved that our feelings were being acknowledged in some way, we went about checking in. Well all that day, that evening and upon checking out in the morning NO "SURPRISE" came, unless you count a non working air conditioner. Upon checking out the same manager was there again, she did not ask how are stay was or mention anything about the prior day. She just said we were all set. We didn't bring anything up to her because at that point we just wanted to leave and have a good day. Seriously the worst part about this was getting excited over a surprise that never came. I felt like she was trying to ruin our trip.
