Great experience all around! However, when we went to pay we were told they don’t take AMEX. In other words, they are putting, perhaps, fifty cents in incremental cc charges ahead of customer satisfaction and convenience. I would have gladly paid the extra and never known the difference. Very short-sighted, self-inflicted wound amounting to future sales prevention… at least from us.

This place was a treasure! My husband, three small children, and myself we driving around the state on vacation and stumbled upon this glorious find. Our waitress was the best we’ve seen and the food was beyond our expectations. Crab cakes and Caesar salad, yum. Bangers and Mash, I’m still dreaming about how good it was. Tiramisu and Torte, we fought over the last bites. These kinds of restaurants are few and far between. Tennessee thanks you for your marvelous food!

We arrived following a long drive from the West Coast of New England, titled and ready for drinks which we enjoyed on the veranda and then dinner inside later on. we had a great experience dining and drinking. Great menu with lots of choices and the wait staff were really great!

My husband and I enjoyed our lunch today. We shared the steamed clams which were delicious. I had the soup of the day: New England boiled dinner soup. YUM! My husband had the burger, and it was cooked just the way he wanted: rare. Our waitress was delightful and fun to talk to, but darn, I did not get her name.

Hostess was very pleasant, our server Shannon was nice and answered all of our questions. Food was delicious and hot. My espresso martini was excellent. Bermuda orchids on all our entrees very nice touch…

We stopped in on our vacation. This place is gold. Really friendly staff, food was great, prices were great… its hard to find places like this. Great work-the Craig family.

We had a delicious dinner, Rib rye and one of the best salmon dishes I have ever had, vanilla creme brûlée for dessert. The service was great too.

This was referred to us by the Hampton Inn staff… wait staff is OUTSTANDING and made our meal enjoyable… even recommend the cream burlee for dessert! WAS an AWESOME dinner and HIGHLY recommend for dinner & drinks! THANK YOU ALL for a great experience!

Everyone who works there is so pleasant. By the time we finished it seemed like the waitress and our group were old friends. Food is amazing. I started out with a very fresh garden salad while my son had the fish chowder which was awesome. My entree was the haddock and it was awesome. My son had the veggie tacos and loved them. Definitely a must for either lunch or dinner. Not to be missed.

wonderful cute pub, Sara was a great waittres, very friendly and engaging and just the right amount of attention
Bermuda fish sandwich was huge and the sweet potato fries were fabulous
chef salad had all kinds of variety and was also plenty for two.

Service was almost as amazing as the food. Small menu, but there is something for everyone! My husband & I really enjoyed everything! Will make the 1.5 hrs back just for dinner!

I went here after a client recommended it and do not regret it. Great fresh seafood. Staff is very friendly. Prices are very reasonable. The place seemed to fill up quickly after 5:30 (on a weeknight) so if you can get there earlier you’re less likely to wait although it would definitely be worth a wait.

The restaurant is quaintly located inside the Tilton Inn.
The food was amazing and cooked to perfection. I had Salmon covered with baby spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, and crabmeat. Also baked potato with sour cream and a medley of fresh vegetables (zucchini, asparagus, carrots and baby spinach).
Service was great and the restaurant it self was appealing to the eye.
Will definitely be back.

Wonderful staff! Very welcoming and friendly. Nice spacious room with a king size bed. They actually stayed a bit late to accommodate us after a long, exhausting day. We didn't experience any ghost encounters, but we were also very tired and probably not listening closely. We didn't make it to the Pub, but will be glad to stop in!

Quaint, very nice owners. Comfortable bed, great shower. Breakfast could have had a little more variety. Our room was not one that has been recently renovated-I would request that next time. Not enough electrical outlets.

Stayed in the Sanborn room. The pillows sounded like they were filled with plastic bags. There was no toilet paper holder in the bathroom. The two chairs in the room you couldn't use because the seat would fall in! The restaurant was very good. Didn't see or hear the ghost either.

Excellent service with clean but small rooms! If you like historic places, this is the best! Also, if you like it when people can hear you have sex, you'll love this place as the beds are extremely squicky. Lol.

The Tilton Inn is an adorable, cozy, quaint family-run establishment. The premises are clean and well cared for. There is a restaurant attached to the inn that is accessible without having to exit outdoors and its two fireplaces make for a cozy dining experience. I had reached out to the owners regarding a concern that I had during my recent stay and they expressed nothing but genuine compassion and regret for the indecent behavior that some disrespectful guests had displayed during my stay. In fact, they went so far as to invite me back, on them. I will definitely return to this Inn in the future.

The Tilton Inn was lovely. Family run and well taken care of. The owners are very nice and accommodating, and were really very helpful with our specific circumstances. I would highly recommend staying in this beautiful inn if you are in the area. The beds were comfortable and the room we were in was super cute. We glimpsed into some of the other rooms and they all looked lovely. Free light breakfast was nice as well. I really don't have any complaints with our stay here.

Amazing cute little place. Great staff. Building has a great aura. The room was amazingly clean. Everything worked properly. The shower was hot and had a ton of pressure. The towels were tons better than your standard hotel towels. They were amazing as well to accommodate for my late check in as well. Will definitely be back here the next time I'm close.

Great place with excellent food, superb wait staff and cool vibe for a drink. The mozzarella sticks are to die for; fish and chips are outstanding; quesadillas are delicious and they have Guiness on tap. If you're in Tilton shopping take the 5 minute drive into town and eat here.

When my son start attending school right up the hill from this Inn, we ventured in with kids not sure if it was a bar, restaurant, or both. So happy we did. The food is awesome, the staff friendly, like, right at home friendly and the ambience is that of an old, historical Inn, with wood, stone, and even a wood burning fire place. I then chose to stay the weekend next time I went to visit, and so happy I did. If you like the old school Bed and Breakfast, this was great. Rooms with old time furniture, but comfortable and cozy. I also had an additional bonus; I had no idea at the time this was a haunted inn, but was able to figure it out on my own. My experience was confirmed when I overheard other parents at the school talking about if. Kindred spirits, of coarse. There has not been a time I haven't had at least a meal here when I am in town, and stay whenever I can. It is an experience for everyone to enjoy!

My third time eating @ Onions and never disappointed. The food is 5 star every time and service is exceptional. This last visit I had some dietary restrictions and they made my meal to order and never batted an eyelash at the request. They also have the best authentic Bermuda fish chowder made with Gosselin omg its like being on the Island. Love.

The room was beautiful and very clean the gentleman that checked me in was extremely nice I would most definitely stay again.

I stayed at The Tilton Inn for three days recently in July of 2015. I stayed in the Samuel Sanborn room which is also known as "Laura's Room". I did have some supernatural events happen while I was staying there. Onions Pub & Restaurant had an excellent staff with good food all around. The inn staff with Rose and the girl from Romania Maria kept the rooms lovely. The owner Allan gave me a warm welcome when I arrived. Tilton, New Hampshire is a quaint town in the Lakes Region. And I would definitely stay here again when I will return next year during the Summer holiday season. -Mark Linn, Milford, NH, USA.

This is a very sweet Inn in the heart of Tilton. Tons of charm, and very cozy rooms which are very nicely decorated. The staff is friendly and they make you feel at home. Also having a very nice restaurant on site is a plus! I only stayed one night, but I recommend it to anyone looking to explore the Lakes Region. Truly a gem! -Kiera Russell, Meredith, NH.

These motels around this area are just not worth. It seems to me like these businesses are just using tax write offs. $75-$120 a night before taxes!
