Great place to stay. Very friendly staff Enjoyed every minute of our stay.

It was clean, and the housekeeping crew was great. But beyond that, I would not recommend.

I stayed at the Sunapee Lake Lodge for my cousin's wedding. I was pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. I was expecting a hole in the wall but the room was nice, the bed comfortable and, despite there being reviews to the contrary, I found the pillows to be perfectly fine. The manager while we were there, Krystal, was a pleasure to be around. She happily helped me with a few things that may not be regular requests by guests and made our stay wonderful, she is a true credit to the lodge. I would definitely stay there again.

Room smelled like wet carpet or mold. The bed was so not comfortable sagging. Besides that ok.

It's was a little small but the room was big. I was pretty good.

Fun atmosphere, food was very good. Service very slow, but not surprising on a busy Sunday afternoon. We weren't in a hurry.

Great location to the mountain. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Pool onsite is perfect after a long day on the mountain!

Bathroom need refreshment. Home impeccable and the hotel to a certain charm. The. Breakfast is simple but effective.

Small but clean room. Both q-size mattresses were soft/lumpy. Lotion/soap dispensers were useless! Very friendly/helpful staff. GREAT breakfast choices! Beautiful indoor pool.

The staff is excellent. Their level of customer service is well above all other places I've stayed recently. I definitely recommend the Lodge.

Nice hotel, great area. I stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. Clean, simple room. Soap/lotion available, but in pumps in bathroom and shower. One bar of hand soap. Room had minifridge, and coffee maker.

Bed was comfortable, room was very clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was very good and fresh. Highly recommend staying here.

Awful! Horrible breakfast. Way over priced for subpar stay. Do not stay here! Run! I stayed at Lake Winnipesaukee for 4 days in a private cabin on the lake for the same price as 2 days here. Nice staff is the Only good thing I have to say. No orange juice at breakfast. No one was restocking breakfast room. I had to go to the front desk once again to get them to replenish breakfast foods. Just Awful!

Very convenient, right off 103, across from Mt Synapse, and next to the lake. Rooms were a little small but the beds were comfortable, and there was a nice pub next door.

Great little place in a lovely setting. Kids loved the pool! Staff was attentive and helpful as well.

I can't wait to go back. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Pool is great! Breakfast was very good. People that work there are all there to accompany your needs. Also next door a restaurant and bar and entertainment. We had plenty to do there and never bored. Thanks for a memorable stay.

First off let me start by saying we are NOT complainers. I never write reviews on anything but I honestly feel like this review will hopefully change some of your minds before booking. With that being said, do not, I repeat, DO NOT waste your money staying at this establishment. You're better off spending the extra $500 (or more) to stay across the street at their "sister" hotel. Two years ago we stayed (when it was Best Western) and it was decent. I wouldn't say spectacular, but decent. Ironically enough we're in the same exact room two years later, which is a room with 2 king sized beds on the basement level (which they call the first floor) — walking into the room I was taken back that not a thing has changed since then, not necessarily a bad thing, however, when I put my luggage on one of the beds I noticed something on the pillow case. It was MAKE-UP! Foundation, black eyeliner/mascara & GLITTER all over a pillowcase. Clean much? If that wasn't enough, it was on yet another pillow case on the same bed. So I set some other things down on the desk and notice the coffee maker looks a little off, that's because there was USED coffee left in it. I honestly wish I were making this up. So, I decide to shower. Unroll the bathmat — to ants. Ants & grass in the towels. At this point I'm so heated over the negligence this place has displayed, when we brought it to their attention, nothing was done, honestly I don't even know if there was an apology.

People that say about renovation are blind because the room was perfectly clean and rarely aged. Great breakfast selection. Pub a walk away (In the same parking lot), so u cAn get drunk and not worry. Great location. No Wi-Fi issues. Not sunapee lake lodge's fault but phone reception is a 3/5 out here. That's because ur in the mountains and speaking of mountains, when u drive down the roads, you MUST swallow cuz it's uphill and downhill. Very few traffic lights. Great restaurants. Few fast food and supermarkets in the area. Handicapped railway. Not crowded during the week. Gas pricy. The 2 only minor issues with the hotel is 1 young lady that works at the front desk was a hair bit nasty and the door doesn't shut all the way. You have to shut it all the way. Very clean definitely will come back.

I asked when they were going to renovate and was told they just did. If this is there renovation, I'd hate to see what it looked like before. Continental Breakfast was sparse and there wasn't anyone around to assist or answer questions. Question like why are my feet sticking to the floor in this breakfast room? The kids enjoyed the pool, although pool towels were supposed to be provided, there weren't any. Elevator was dirty and had fruit loops on the floor for a few days. The room was OK. Just remember to SLAM the door when you leave, they don't close all the way on their own. They did make our beds because we asked them to, but we didn't ask for the cob webs above the windows or the spider crawling on our bed. The hallways are NOT air conditioned and it was well into the 90's. It seemed neglected to me. The receptionists I spoke with were nice. But one person in our party arrived early, and even though the place was practically deserted, the receptionist was not pleasant about letting them check in early. Best thing about this place is the location. OH, and forget cell phone reception. We were told, yah, it's not very good around here.

This is a great place. Close to a state beach and the mountain. Very clean. Friendly, accomodating staff. Relaxing. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Nice indoor pool and exercise room.

I have stayed here maybe 4 years in a row. The Staff is fantastic, housekeeping not so much. This past year, July, once we came back to our room half done. One bed was made, and the other was not. We stayed 10 days and They didn't change our linens until I requested it, twice. Yes, we do stay in our room until 1 or 2 pm but one day they didn't make our beds at all. My biggest beef is cell phone service and Wi-Fi service. There is no ATT cell service, because the hotel is at the foot of Mount Sunapee and the cell tower is at the top. The signal spreads from the mountain, but the hotel is so close to the foot it does not catch the signal. The Wifi at the hotel is so spotty that it's functionally inoperable. I finally log in and am dropped 4-5 times in a half hour. I cant live like this. The hotel breakfast has declined so badly over the years, thats its not worth eating. The only protein is Jimmy Dean sausage egg and cheese. Nothing is set out for you. You have to go into the fridge to get milk, or butter for toast, or ketchup. Makes you feel like youre stealing, or doing something wrong. This. A couple years ago they were serving made to order omlets with meats and vegetables and cheeses on real dishes. They have suffered a major fall from grace, and theyre losing customers as a result.

Stay there when working in the area and stay at alot of different hotels this one is like my best one the evening shift was very friendly and the night shift people were awsome they didnt hesitate to help out at all.

My wife and I had a great stay here. The booking was marked down to $99, the room was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were even willing to relocate me to another room when a smoke detector began chirping at night, but we resolved to change the battery. The best part is we forgot an item in the room when we left, and they made arrangements to send it back to me. Good trip.

I haven't even stayed here yet and I already hate the place. With a wedding to go to there aren't many chains to stay at in the area. The hotel refuses to give us a reduced rate for a block of rooms and when some of us asked to check in earlier than the 3pm check-in time (wedding is at 3) they told us "Well, you better come dressed in your wedding clothes". How completely RUDE.

Booked for a basketball tournament — our group was quoted different rates (4 @ $159.00 and 3 @ $179.00) One of the $179.00 was changed to $$159.00 but the other two were give the runaround. Here is what happened to me — I booked on Thursday for Saturday, spoke with the assistant manage Kathie and she quoted me $179.00 — when I arrived on Saturday I told her that most others in our group had the $159.00 rate. She lead me to believe at check in that she changed the rate to $159.00. However when I checked out I was told that "there were probable not many rooms left when I booked" (I was the first in our group to call and book). I told the women at the desk that one other in our group had already been given the $159.00 from the $179.00 and she called the Manager, he told her not to change the rate for me. I complained again to her — she called the manager back and asked if her could come to the front desk and he said no and gave her a few more reasons why they could not change my rate. What a wimp. In addition breakfast was disgusting and very cheap. Bottom line — there are plenty of other places to stay.
