Needs to be condemned. Smelled of mildew and moldy. Bathroom was flooded and trash everywhere. Rusted bars on outside of window.

I stayed here for the first time last weekend and first and foremost, they're prices are unbeatable. The employees are very professional and welcoming. They've really upgraded and from the looks of things, their pool will be MORE than ready for the Summertime! Most of all, they're pet friendly. My son & I most definitely will be revisiting! Ty Jenny!

It was ok. Coyld if been better. Still waiting on my deposit to come back to my card but overall it wasnt bad.

Was charged a no show. When I did not have a reservation for the date charged (Feb 16th). This was a mistake on their end Managers were absolutely disrepectful and would not speak with me would leave messages for the person answering the phone what to tell me. I'm having to dispute this charge with the bank.

Bad experience! I was attending the MSECA Conference with my parents and fiancé. We had two separate rooms. Since I was paying for my parent's room, I chose to stay here. The room that was under my name was horrible! There was mold in the bathroom, the fridge and microwave would occasionally cut off (you have to push on the actual wall socket to make it work), there was moldy pizza in the microwave, a empty 2 liter bottle under the bed, a word I can't exactly make out was scratched into the bed frame, phone jack wasn't even connected to the room phone, it was just all around dirty. I told front desk about the mold in the bathroom and asked to be moved to another room due to the health issue that I have. I got told they would speak to their supervisor and get back with me. Ha, yeah right! They never did anything. I will never stay here again! Pictures in comments.

Absolutely not! Manager on duty was very rude, there was a real musty smell in the room, towels dirty and the wouldn’t give a refund even though I didn’t even stay! I will never book there again!

Don't stay here. We found a room the same day online for $63 & we got what we paid for. Cheap towels, smelled of old cigarette smoke; empty cigarette pack, used tampon behind the bed, & as we were packing up our vehicle, the front desk guy went into the room & came out eating the food we had on the night stand. Absolute garbage. We were deceived by the nice looking lobby & fountain at the entrance of the hotel but no cars should've been our first & last clue.

So we get to the hotel around 2 and we are getting situated and my boyfriend finds a bug in the bed, the. You know I look around I find a baby roach on the wall so he kills both. I don’t want to get in the bed due to the bug already found so then he pulls the sheets back and finds another bug. So that’s three two looked like bed bugs and the other was a roach. The smell was awful. There was stains all over the walls in the hallway our room was down and the was dead and smushed bugs on the walls. I do not recommend this hotel.

Beyond its time. Should be shuttered like the Hotel next door. Mi rental was one of 2 cars in an dark parking lot. Hope to find ot there tomorow.

Price is good but here's what you can expect. It's minimalistic, our 1 bed had 1 sink, TV was nice with basic cable and the breakfast wasn't bad but onto what is and earned them 3 less stars. Our biggest problem had to be a the random as hell block party they allowed to be had on a Sunday night in their parking lot. When we checked in we were practically the only people there. By 7 that night every single parking space was filled and practically none of them were people staying in the hotel. We know this because practically every car there was gone way early in the morning and the ground was just LITTERED with trash big time. They were loud and all over the lobby using the amenities and whatever else they wanted. I don't understand their relationship with the owner but I don't really care. Looks really, really bad and it doesn't make the place feel safe or welcoming. If you want paying customers I would get that under control fast.

I am more than disappointed. I must have stayed here during their heyday… because now it is a ghost town. I've already changed rooms due to the dirty sheets… the Wi-Fi is so so which make me working impossible. The chairs are stained and have cigarette burns… I'm very displeased about the entire experience.

Stayed at the hotel for a wedding, we changed room three times. First room had a hole in the wall where an air conditioner supposed to be, the second room the out dated TV showed only in purple and the third room was ok. There where no cars in the parking lot it like an abandoned hotel. The only have three towels per room and you have to return your towels in order to get clean towels. The ballroom where the wedding was at was beautiful. It’s a cheap hotel and you get what you pay for. Oh yhea bring your own towels.

Very curtious staff, excellent rates, nice pool, and, large variety of vending machines. All in all, would recommend to family and friends.

Local hotel with some convention center capabilities. They have a beautiful atmosphere and interiors. They have good customer service and great prices. Though they are a very nice place they are a bit off the beaten path hidden in a northern corner of downtown but easy to find due to being hidden behind one of Jackson's biggest and most notable and famous landmarks the Coliseum. With all that being said their lack of location and breathtaking views leaves them a great place to usually easily book for crowds or spur of the moment needs because their location leaves them last to be picked being that they are literally the last hotel on the street that is literally a row of hotels that are bigger names.

I was here for a School Color Guard Competition there was 4 of us in one room with 2 beds and there was pee stains, a live hornet, and other mysterious stains also to mention my friends across the hall had a dead cockroach in their sheets. Also the front desks people had no idea what room was on what floor and they were extremely inconsiderate and rude. Oh and for breakfast when it’s gone, it’s gone they only refill the grits. So before you stay here take into consideration that a one night stay IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY! No matter what the chances are!

Zero stars! Filthy dirty hotel! Booked at the last minute and didn’t arrive till almost midnight. I should have listened to my gut, but I was tired and just wanted some sleep. The parking lot only had about 5 cars in it to begin with and then the front entrance had a broken statue with broken pieces everywhere. Once down the hall, the smell of smoke was horrible. The pool was green and the outside of building has mildew/mold all over it. Don’t waste your time or money. My 11 yr old daughter was so upset and wanted to leave. I wish I would have listened to her and left… I am truly wondering how this place is still open!

This hotel should be CONDEMNED. Toilet had urine and feces stains all over it. Shower had mucus and what appeared to be feces marks with hair dried up in it on the walls. Clearly never cleaned, and that won’t stop them from attempting to charge ADDITIONAL CLEANING FEES of $75 after you check out. Shady. Dead bugs filled the hair dryer. PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU STAY HERE! The pictures they advertise ARE NOT what you get when you stay here. Terribly run down buildings, mold and mildew around the air conditioner, bed covers were completely disgusting, TV plug kept popping and TV would shut off on its own. Smelled of straight mildew when we walked in. In the very scary back parking lot, there was a man that sat in his car for HOURS watching us! They advertise a bar in the hotel which is NOT a thing. Their "bar" is a mini fridge behind the check in counter with 3 dollar beers. We decided to check out and stay elsewhere and they didn't offer a refund since we had been there longer than 15 minutes. Just want everyone to know what you're getting if you decide to stay here.

March 9th — Reasonably priced; however, I'd give customer service two stars and here's the reason. I put four quarters in the candy machine, not really noticing that one of the rows had fallen down, which prevented my cookies from falling to the bottom so that I may retrieve the package. Evidently, some others had lost money as well. As I was going back to my room, two of the workers were coming through the door. I stopped him and explained that my cookies had gotten stuck. The gist of is reply was that the machine was broken and that they don't even own the machine, yet the machine is located in YOUR hotel! Soooooo, no "Well mam, you can come to the front desk and I'll repay your funds, " or "If you give me your contact info, I can have it sent to you. " No, he said there were snacks that they sell behind the desk and that I can come and get something from there… UHHHH, NOOOOOO! So I toll the hubby I would ask for my money back on the snack, and it was evident I'd lost money, because you could see where the snack had fallen but stopped due to the broken machine "row. " I know it's just a dollar, but it's the principle of the thing. My hubby said forget about that. At least they could put a daggone sign on the machine to warn others! Not just allow money to continue to pile up. March 10th — UPDATE! This is the ABSOLUTE LAST TIME we'll ever stay at this place! Breakfast? Only grits? Not even a pancake and/or sausages? And the milk is just enough to feed one or two people!

The rooms are outdated. Appliances such as the television is old. The channels on the TV are very limited. I will say that the lobby is the only room up to date and beautifully furnished. The hotel does provide Wi-Fi. I give it two stars because for the price it serves its purpose.

This hotel should be shut down for false advertisement…! it is a terrible horrible scary nightmare …! doesn’t deserve 1 star. Don’t go there, the other reviews are sooo true. It stinks, blood stains on the bed and bathroom. No cable. No good lightning. It’s just AWFUL.

The nastiest hotel (if you can even call it that) I’ve ever been in. I wouldn’t stay here again if they paid me. Our first room had a dead roach in it, the toilet had been used and not flushed, the shampoo/conditioner/soap/shower cap had been jacked from other hotels and the shower cap had been used (there were hairs in it). Our second room was basically the same except no roach this time but they added blood stained walls, stained comforters and sheets! Oh and if you come stay here make sure you bring your shower shoes.

The staff was very friendly, although this was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at. The hotel smells bad as if the carpet is not clean/flity scent. The bed comfortable had a cigarette burn in it… we were in a smoke free room with cigarette burns on the covers. The tvs are out dated do not expect a flat screen TV box shaped tvs the bathroom and carpet was disgusting. The dry towels had brown stains on them we had to request more towels. There are ironing boards in the rooms with no irons, I was told by another customer there was only one working iron there and you had to get the iron from the front desk, he offered to bring it to me after he finished with it. This hotel really needs to be updated I WILL NEVER VISIT HERE AGAIN! The lobby is the only presentable area. Very uncomfortable stay I couldn't wait to hit the highway everything was booked I didn't have a choice. Although, I was offered a smoking room I refused it due to the smoke smell.

The hotel was very nice especially for the price. It's pet friendly and the rooms were pretty clean, bathrooms were big and bed was soft.

The pictures for this place are very deceiving. We went to the room and immediately went back to the front desk to cancel our stay. The hallways and rooms smell and are extremely dated and look dirty. Don't waste your time.

If I could give negative stars I would do so. Upon arrival the staff was very friendly. However when we checked our room there was a condom raper between the sheets in one room and pubs in between the sheets in another. It also stunk and was HOT. We were sweating. The staff was embarrassed and approved out full refund even giving us a signed receipt. We did not In fact relieve our full refund because the owner stopped it. An owner who is not on sight mind you. This place is disgusting and obviously the owner is a crook who cares not about her property nor does she seem to care about the condition of her hotel. Pictures do not match the hotel.

I brought a big group with me passing through we decided to stay here, Until one room had small trash in bathtub, Another had trash in sink and what appeared to be blood or some kinds of stains al on curtains, and another room had living spiders in bed along with hair. The man at front desk had to open one room for us because the lock didn't work, so only he had a key to get in and out. nothing like the online pictures that were provided. The people were some what helpful considering we unloaded went in rooms and loaded back up and went to another hotel down the street. They were able to refund most of our money. Except 20.00 per room.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are dated. Old TV! Bathtub mat appeared clean, but the thought grossed me out. AC could have been better too. Cheapest deal in town so can't complain too much.

Can I give it no stars?! Worst hotel ever… when the entrance has fans blowing everywhere, I should have taken that as a sign but I am a go with the flow kind of person so I decided to stick it out. Then at the pool my kids found used needles and we quickly left… when we came back from the pool the hall to our room smelled heavily of weed and it was making our room smell too. The icing on the cake, we had the ac on 60 and fan on high and we were sweating… the TV is outda…ted and it kept going out due to the storm. The bathroom was disgusted and the floor was sticky. I finally gave up and jumped on Priceline and booked the Hilton Garden Inn a few miles away for $52! We packed up with 2 little kids and came to our new hotel room! This was the WORST hotel experience I've ever had! Oh and online when I booked it, we booked a JR suite with a king size bed and fold out sofa bed. We get to the hotel and we were informed they have no such room and put us in a room with 2 doubles (they called the queens but they were doubles). The only plus was the guy at the front desk was really nice!

This place is very deceitful. The pictures they have online are of what this place used to look nice. Now it's a pay by the hour bad investment someone made. Very unsanitary. Go to booking. Com to see some of the recent photos taken.

Staff was pleasant. Room had an old odor mixed with cleaning products so it was tolerabletolerable. Decent experience.

Do yourself a favor and pass this place by, unless you need $5/3 on magnum condoms, which are available at the front desk. Extra towels are $2 a piece and require turning in your old towels. The only upside is you may be able to pay with EBT if that's your kind of thing.

This was the nastiest hotel I have ever visited when we tried to cancel because we booked online it cost $20 a room to cancel for processing fee we paid cash found a roach and mouse droppings well worth the $20 to leave do not stay here.

Don't go to this hotel. Totally nasty place roaches and mouse droppings in the rooms. Paid cash and they refused to give us our money back had to call Priceline to get to cancel then they said well couldn't give us 20 dollars back because of a processing fee. Most disappointing hotel we have ever been in. Only one car in the parking lot when we were there which in the first place should have gave us a clue.

I had the pleasure of staying at this very lovely hotel recently. It is in close proximity to downtown. The Coliseum & Trademart are directly across the street. The rooms are spacious, comfortable & extremely clean. The staff were all very pleasant & helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel! Also, the price is very affordable! Can't beat it!

I have never been treated so poorly by someone who is supposed to be serving customers in my entire life. My husband and I arrived (after a very long journey from out of state, seeing family in the hospital) to check in only to have Raymond at the front desk argue with us and scoff at us when we told him we prepaid our room through hotel club. Com. And was like showing us the email and was giving attitude. You don't treat people like that. And then didn't even offer to try to help? I had to call hotel club. Com myself and have them call the hotel. This Raymond guy is the worst customer non service experience I ever had.

This place is horrible, very poor management and horrible record keeping, make sure you keep all of your receipts from this establishment is all I can say! Brad is the person that waited on me at the front desk, I told him I would pay for the room using my credit card and the $50 deposit using cash. Upon checking out an older Asian lady checked me out, she insisted that I paid for the deposit using my card, I told her I didn't I paid cash. She still charged my card for the $50 and trying to get them on the phone has been unsuccessful so it looks like i'll be making a trip from New Orleans to Jackson for my $50. Oh and I only stayed one night and the rooms were disgusting, hall ways were hot and musty, dirty linen and mold everywhere! Don't be fooled my the lobby people!

The stinkiest most disgusting place I have ever stayed in my life. They had dirty bed linen, roaches, mold and mildew in the rooms just nasty! Jackson Mississippi Regency inn shouldn't be allowed to stay open. Shirley in the manager she is a thief and have horrible customer service.

It's a great room for the price! $60 for a comfortable stay. Clean, good showers, comfy beds, and not overly crowded with a friendly staff.

Hotel was horrible! Not worth one red cent spent. Towels were dirty! Building was outdated. I was told to drive around back because it was closer to my room, well the door had a HUGE crack in the glass. If I could have changed my mind and went next door I would have. I end up with bug bites on my leg and feet. Horrible is a understatement! Do not stay here, EVER.

This room was booked for employees and when they arrived, only 3 — 4 cars were located in the parking lot and a cop was driving back and forth and there was a gate. My employees didn't feel comfortable going there so when I called to cancel, they asked me the reason why. I was honest and said that the guests didn't feel comfortable in the area. SHIRLY told me that was ridiculous said she would cancel and hung up on me. I called back and requested a manager — SHIRLY would not pass me to anyone. I advise her that it was not ok to hang up on customers and advise that I had three other rooms to cancel. She proceeded to do so and then said "I am going to hang up on you again". Dial tone. i can't believe they are still in business. My employees walked inside and mentioned that there was a very bad smell, old. Musty. The building was very old and there is a Holiday Inn right next to this place that is $150 — how is THIS place selling rooms at half the cost? SKETCHY. SHIRLY is rude and obnoxious.

Well let me just say I'm not sure what the place looked like before not all that impressed with the rooms, lobby was nice looking, our bathroom looked like someone had the crap beat out of them to me it looked like blood on the ceiling, non smoking room reeked of smoke and moldy foul smells I had to go to our vehicle and get an air freshener. Don't waste your time looking at the breakfast just check out and go eat at a restaurant I seriously walked away from the breakfast room laughing from the lack of food and filth.

The hotel has come up alot since the new owners took over about a year ago. It has gone through some changes over the years, but it is still a fine accommodating hotel. Rooms are very comfortable, most of the staff is very friendly. At least the one I dealt with are. It is very convenient to the coliseum and things going on in jackson. I highly recommend you stay there on your travels. Also it is next to the interstate. Rates that I paid were more than reasonable also. Thank you for being helpful. Louise from north MS.

I drive in the Jackson area for the last 8 months and I stay at the regency hotel. The new owners has made big improvements to the hotel. They have done a great job cleaning the place up. Its is one of the better places to stay in Jackson. Ive have enjoy my stay with the regency hotel.

I will never stay here again. It took an hour and a half to unlock my door. They even gave me another room in hopes that the key would unlock the door. No, it did not. I had to be let in with a master key until they could get me working keys. There were roaches in my room. At 2 am they rented my room to another guest who came in on me. Then to top it off, I was charged for a second night that I neither booked or stayed. I called to point out this error and was told that it would be researched and I would receive a call back in one day. That never happened. Four days later I called to request a copy of the sign-in sheet that outlined exactly what night I would be staying and how much I agreed to pay. Instead, I received a computer-generated copy of what they actually charged me — not the check-in sheet that I signed. I get the impression that the management cares nothing for its guests only for the money. I give it zero stars.

I think this came up as a 3-star. A 2 at best.
