Air conditioning doesn't work in rm 119, keys didn't work twice from check-in and front desk came to let us in, no hot water. Paid for two nights before getting into the room to drop off bags, room was hot and smelled like an oilfield footlocker. Turned on ac, left for a couple of hours, no change in room, try to get a shower, no hot water, low pressure. Different guy at front desk refunded one night and offered a new room. 228 not much different.

I have never been so upset with a motel visit. I had called ahead of time. So when I arrived the worker was sleeping. I had to wake her. Then proceeds to tell me cash only because the system is upgrading. Over the phone she told me $55. Then tells me when I am there it is $78. I only had $71 in cash. She took it and gave me a room. Did everything in paperwork. Only asked for my name and address. Didnt ask for ID or any type of signature. The next morning we asked the morning shift coworker of we were in the system he said no and we asked if $78 was the going rate for the night. He said no, $55. This motel is crooked and ventilation is poor. Whole place smells with broken fixtures all over the place. Breakfast was literally cereal and waffles. Horrible horrible horrible.

First room had no lock, a broken a/c unit, mold and the byproduct of using the restroom on the wall. Apparently Motel 6 bans the use of correct terminology on reviews. Second room was a little better although the bathroom door did not shut and we slept on top of the blankets due to fear of filth under them.

Filthy, holes in the walls, insects and spiders everywhere. Fences collapsing and potholes in the parking lot. Staff is friendly, but the property needs a LOT of work. MORNING UPDATE: So overnight, there were what sounded like gunshots a couple of rooms away, and the parking lot was full of police cars for hours. So much for a restful night's sleep. If I could give a zero rating, I would.

I had already emailed you but here it is again: I had the misfortune of picking your I-55 Jackson MS location when I booked your motel online. When we checked in (room 206) it looked ok. There were stains on the comforter and sheets but we gave them the benefit of the doubt that stains do happen. There also looked to be as if someone had explosive diahrea and they cleaned the toliet and the floor but there were reminants on the wall. It was out of our way *Super Gross* but we didn't have to touch it. Fast forward to day 2. Things were the same until we decided to use the handy microwave in our room to fix a snack. Roaches started RUNNING! That was IT we had enough! We went downstairs to complain (using the elevator that had the awesome grafitti to "fu©k off") and was met by another complainer who was talking about no ONLY did they have roaches in their room, but while they were out of there room some one had been in there having s*x while they were gone (there was wrong color hair in the bed for 1) They we're afraid that they probably went through there stuff too. Anyways when it came to us it was just us and the front desk gentleman. We told them about our problem. He called the manager who gave us that night back (still not back on the card yet) and said they had just sprayed room 106 so they must have came up the wall to ours. Then he said it's Mississippi so you really can't get rid of them… seriously? I LIVE in Mississippi! Four hours away! It's possible!

Great economical stay. Office and housekeeping staff were very helpful and courteous.

Sometimes they don't fix the rooms.

Great rooms for a valued price. Clean and quiet. 24 hour roaming security.

Jason was the attendant at the Motel 6 on I-55 in Jackson, Mississippi where a friend of mine and I stayed April 14, 2018. Jason was the most professional attendant I have ever experienced at a Motel 6. He was hospitable and very curious. He was very credible at his job and made sure that our stay was to our pleasing. I hope to experience many, many more attendants like Jason in the near future. Thank you so much JASON!

Our first room was not nonsmoking and was very unclean. We were given another room which had a smoke detector battery needing replacement. On calling the office, they said they did not have replacement battery=just to unplug the fire alarm! We told them we didn't want to sleep in room with no smoke detector and they offered refund. However, it was 1 a. M. We only stayed one night of a 2 night reservation.

There is nothing on TV only about 10 channels and none of them good, there was still stuff in the refrigerator when I got in my room and the floor was nasty, they gave me 1 bar of soap and no shampoo the remote to the TV didn't work right when I cut the TV off it would cut right back on unless I took the batteries out real fast and also the guy at the register wouldn't get off the phone and I couldn't understand a word he said. I paid $56 for my room and these rooms are no better than a cheap hooker motel. I will not be returning ever and I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Honestly GREAT customer service, clean, comfy rooms. I recommend any famoly and friend to this establishment.

I really enjoyed my stay the staff there was very professional and accommodating Miss Rhonda that works the front desk made my stay there most enjoyable.

I should have not stayed there. We first get assigned to a room that the key card doesn't work, then come to find out, someone is still in there as they look through the window out at me after turning the handle a few times. That was on the 3rd floor room 308, south side. Go back to the office and they give us another room on the 3rd floor, room 334 and the key card doesn't work on that room either. Go back to the office and they rejey it. Still doesn't work. This time the security guy comes and inserts his key then has us use our key card and it works. Room is fair at best. Bed doesn't look flat and even, looks like someone has slept in the center for 20 years, floor is dirty under desk area under table, sink and in front of the toilet, like someone foretold sweep and mop the floor. There is a big crack all around the bathroom ceiling on all 4 walls and the bathroom door looks like it had been kicked in from both sides more than 3 times. Whom ever tried to patch the BIG holes didn't know what they were doing and used their fingers to fill the large holes with plaster, then slipped some paint over it. Was not sanded down smooth with a trowel then sand paper… just fingers. The curtain to the window had a rip in it. You could hear the highway sound as if the bed was in the road. The room did have a TV, free Wi-Fi, microwave and mini fridge which we did not use the latter two.

The worst motel I have been in. I was in town for only a night and as usual, I get a cheap motel. I'm not expecting much at the price point of $40. But what I do expect and have gotten from similarly priced motels is a minimum standard of cleanliness and care. You have to at least try. My trip started with my key card not working, I had to go back and forth to the office 3 times before I was given a reset key and a real key. Am I maintenance now? Finally got in the room and it smelled of smoke. I specifically asked for a non-smoking room. If that's not possible, then don't ask me the question. After passing out for a while I decided to take a shower. Looked in the bathroom and hair was everywhere. After shaking my head I discuss I looked to open a window to air out some of smoke… and realized that the windows were painted shut. Then I went to open the front door and realized that there was a brown, still wet liquid splashed about the back of the door. Lol, I can't make this up!

I love everything about this room everbody that work there was good to me all them housekeeper in the lady that was there at 930pm that night I love her she was good with geting me the best room I can ask for I love the way they got camera… I was okay with my car been there as well as my family I will tell anybody to go there my name is lakeisha chambers thanks for haveing me and my family.

The room was very dusty it was much cleaner the last time I stayed. But other than that my stay was okay.

We were very happy with our stay. The room was very clean and the property in general well kept. I would glad stay here again.

I’m really not a very picky traveler, I travel on a budget, have stayed in loads of Motel 6’s and plenty of other budget motels. I’m generally a pretty big fan of Motel 6, have stayed at 4 in the last few weeks, but this one was pretty bad. Front desk service would have been friendlier if it were a robot, like not malicious, but completely lethargic and impersonal, never made eye contact and was talking the whole time to a friend who came in. We were put right next two rooms full of sketchy characters who were smoking weed and yelling on the balcony all night. The room was relatively clean, nothing absurd, but it reeked of cigarettes and weed, door didn’t close properly, phone didn’t even have a cable to connect it to the wall. Stains on the bed as well, not horrific but definitely noticeable. It won’t stop me from booking with Motel 6 I the future, but definitely not at this one.

I am sorry to have to do this but I can not give a positive review on this hotel. OT WAS AWFUL! Nothing was good, the bedspread was stained, the sheet had left over mildew stain that didn't wash out or something, the bathroom was the worst… The outside bottom of the toilet had literally dried pee still on it that appeared to have been there a long time, the shower curtain was mildewed, it should have just been thrown away a long time ago, and to top it off one of the towels, one of only 2 towels that we had to dry with after our shower, was stained and dirty. I Will NEVER stay in this hotel again. Worst night I have EVER spent in my life.

A non-smoking room butt smells like smoke air condition with leak spent two nights. Esther change rooms they said they did not have extra room it was horrible the manager called off of me $20. I told him he can take that and shove it I won't stay at Jackson ever again.

Room was a bit run down and unfortunately I got a smoker's room. Since I was on crutches they did try to get me a first floor room so that I wouldn't have to deal with stairs. Air conditioner worked great though and that helped clear the air in the room. Although an older room, it was fairly clean. The mattress sides were stained in places though.

Rcvd a call within 1 hr of check-in asking if I needed anything and letting me know that there would be coffee at 6 a. M. The room was spotless and smelled good. The property is well lit, with ample parking, a grocery store across the street, and restaurants within walking distance. The last motel 6 I stayed in had a little fridge, this one did not, so double check if thats important to you.

The room was clean. However, there were holes (from cigarettes) on the comforter, the toilet wasn't working (I had to fix it), the TV didn't turn on and I asked for a non — smoking room but got a smoking room (while having a 4 yr. Old with me). I was too tired to call the front desk because I had been driving for 16 hours. The price is great I paid total $48. The outside was dirty, the security who was working that night was very polite and professional. Overall if you want to stay somewhere just for a couple hours this Is a good place for the price if you plan to stay longer then it's up to you.

The blankets on the bed had a cigarette burn in a non-smoking room. This was a disappointment. Also, I went to the front desk to request an extra pillow at 10 PM. They gave me the pillow, but did not have a pillow case. I had to wrap it up in a sheet to feel safe using. It. Also, there was a universal remote control in the room that did not work with the tv. I was forced to get up to turn the channel. I grew doing that, so it wasn't bad enough to call the front desk. However, what is the point of a remote that does not work?

Wow they were awesome as we'd driven all night for 15 hrs and got there ahead of time. We asked if there was anyway we could get at least one of our 2 rooms as we had to rest before performing. They were so kind and very expeditiously got us 1 room and notified us when the next room was available. Our band The Harmony Echos are so thankful for the gracious hospitality extended to us by your team there in Jackson, MS. To the room cleaners and everyone involved we give our "heartfelt Thank You for such excellent service.

This place is dirty as hell! The staff needs to learn what customer service means. Smh!
