My room was very comfortable. My only regret was that I was just there for one night. I would have loved to walk the grounds and spend some time outside enjoying the view and solace. A great get away!

If you thought about a castle in a far away land… but really didn't have to drive far to get there. The Crisanver House is the answer. The home is beautifully decorated, very very clean and quiet. The views are spectacular and oh SO peaceful. Carol (owner and FABULOUS chef) along with Gail (assistant) and "Miguel" (Carols favorite man servant/husband) made us feel like we were family. The conversations were delightful, the accommodations were wonderful and a delight to the eye… and the food and hospitality were top notch. We are definitely going back with friends and family.

We greatly enjoyed our one night stay at Crisanver House. It was a snowy evening when we arrived at the Inn and we were warmly welcomed by Carol and Andrea. Our room in one of the cottages was warm and comfortable. Breakfast in the beautiful conservatory the next morning was delicious and bravo to the locally sourced and organic ingredients served. The seasonal snow made the view of the Green Mountains even that much more inspiring. Thank you, Carol, for the fun conversation!

My husband and I, along with three adult daughters and their husbands enjoyed a hiking trip in Vermont. Our first stop was the gorgeous Crisanver House. The pictures on their website were absolutely beautiful. I must say, it was even better in person. We were fortunate enough to visit during mid to late September when the leaves were starting to turn color. We awoke each morning to the most stunning view from the Saltash and Shrewsbury cottage. Our other family members stayed in the main house in the Herrick Room and the Marcy Suite, which they also thoroughly enjoyed. The breakfasts were always great, the staff very accommodating, and the owners, Michael and Carol were extremely kind and welcoming. This is a gem of a property we hope to return to. Lesa G.

A wedding weekend he stated the end, which was this site for a family wedding. The grounds and buildings where I lovely. The service and choicesbreakfast was beyond compare.

The Crisanver House is the perfect place for a get-a-way. It is quiet, peaceful, lovely and spotless. The grounds are magnificent. The pool is beautiful, there is a great tennis court. There are gardens to roam about in, wild blackberries to pick and lots of butterflies and birds to watch.

Carol and her team provided us with exceptional stay! The food was amazing and the rooms were well appointed! One night Carol even got a fire going for us in the pit and accommodated early and late departures. Everyone was very friendly and the views and property were gorgeous!

My girlfriend and I recently spent a weekend getaway at the Crisanver House. We had initially booked a room in the main building, but when we arrived there, we asked our hostess if we could instead upgrade our selection and stay in one of the separate cottages. Our hostess (and co-owner of the B&B) Carol was very sweet and gracious and accommodated our request. Crisanver House is beautiful with amazing views, the grounds are peaceful and quiet, and make for a nice relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle of busy city life. Our meals were delicious and lovingly prepared. Carol was wonderful in a nutshell — she was warm, made us feel welcome, and very kind, as was our waitress Andrea. I would go back there in a heartbeat. Note that getting internet coverage could be a bit tricky in the cottages — we had to walk the short distance to get closer to the main building — but if always staying connected on Wi-Fi is essential, perhaps Vermont is not the best place to go anyways :)

Carol is a great host, phenomenal chef and very helpful and interesting person. After talking with us a while she suggested things we may like to see and do in the area taking the weather into consideration. We had dinner there one night and it was superb. The room as well as the remainder of the Inn was clean, beautifully restored and welcoming. Michael was also very interesting and fun to talk with. The views were very enjoyable and we had a great overall visit.

Wonderful location and wonderful staff. I loved our very special stay here and I really can't wait to go back. It is a perfect location for snowboarding at Okemo mountain. The nicest luxury B&B in Vermont and my favourite place to stay. I would highly recommend.

It is very comfy & cozy! Great views, breakfast is delicious and not too far from different mountain skiing resorts. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Thank you Carol and Michael for making our 3 day getaway so special. We had the entire place to ourselves (without the exception of our ghostly friend) and your hospitality was more than gracious. We definitely plan on returning soon.

Best Inn in Vermont! The setting is gorgeous, the food is incredible, and the people are wonderful. I can't recommend it highly enough.

I have great memories of my stay here. The locatiom, the view, the service, the decoration of the rooms, the attention to detail, the food, the hosts, it all invites us to visit again if the chance comes.

The Crisanver House is a very special place. It provides a charming and elegant atmosphere with a stunning mountainview backdrop! For our wedding, our families stayed at the bed and breakfast. It was wonderful for them to enjoy each other throughout the whole weekend, rather than just the few hours of the actual wedding. The beautiful house and amazing grounds were an incredible space for everyone to relax, swim, play tennis (real or table), or to simply enjoy the fresh mountain air with a warm cup of coffee. It was perfect. Not only were our families able to stay at the b&b, the wedding cocktail and reception were held there as well! The cocktail hour was outside on the front grounds of Crisanver – wonderful space for relaxing, mingling, and of course pictures. And the reception was held inside of the Millenium Barn – which is stunning in its own rite. Throughout the night, guests were able to wander in and out of the barn, enjoying the beautiful deck, surrounding grounds, mountain view, sunset, and stars. It was wonderfully elegant, yet casual and comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for better. Finally, Carol (our main contact person) was incredible. She was available and accommodating, but always discrete. We never felt her imposing presence, but we always knew that she was there and available if we needed her. Wonderful! We’ll always have fond memories of Crisanver, and we’ll be sure to be back for many vacation get-aways.
