Overall, our stay at Julietta House was really good but prospective guests should note that the room you choose on the net is not necessarily the room you will be allocated. We booked the Clock Tower room about 7 months in advance because we liked the layout of the room, the bathroom and the view. However, upon arrival we discovered we were given the Lowe Library room instead. We were told by the owner that we had been moved because we were staying one night instead of two. We did not understand this explanation at the time and still don't. Instead, we were given the Lowe Library room and the owner assured us it was just as good as the Clock Tower. It was not. It was on the ground floor and noisy. The bathroom had a door which opened right onto the hallway to the kitchen, but in particular, the decor of this room was not to our liking. We had seen the furnishings of this room on the website and were keen to avoid it. Even worse, when we were getting ready for bed, another guest knocked on our door wanting to look at the books in the "library" — an easy mistake as the sign on the door says "Lowe Library"… no indication at all that it is a guestroom. Gloucester is a lovely town and the location of Julietta House is great. We just feel that the owner needs to understand the requests of her guests and provide the room that she confirmed in the first place.

This is a must stay at The Julietta Inn! Beautiful B&B right in the heart of town! Weather you want a over night stay or longer this Inn with it's Gloucester charm is the place! with such an easy walk to all the beautiful shops, restaurant's, Harbors, beaches and so much more! this is definitely our place to stay! Thank you again!

My lady and I had the most wonderful week end at Julietta House! We haven't seen each other in 46 years and we could NOT have stayed in a more comfortable, clean, relaxed, warm and romantic home! When you read their website you will see the best kept home to provide a base for walking to area fun places and dining options that fit every budget! We could not be happier with our decision and can't wait to call Sue and visit our favourite home — The Julietta House!

I came to the Julietta House in the winter of 2017. I just returned from a 2 year stay in California and needed a place to rest and this was the perfect space. It is super clean, quaint, quiet and in a fabulous location. (Gloucester has a lively nightlife and there are many restaurants to dine out in. ) Susan, the owner, offers short term stays for guests traveling, and longer term rentals for people in transition. She is highly sensitive to people's needs, and does her best to make you feel safe, and at home. I lived in the Juliette House for several months, and I can honestly say this house is immaculate, and truly, it offers peace and quiet, not to mention a space to renew, refresh, and relax. I would not hesitate to recommend the Julietta House for your stay here in this wonderful New England city.

What a Gem, my stay at Julietta House is perfect! This quaint town has lots to offer, finding a local artist set up on the sidewalk was a cool introduction!

We were fortunate to get a last minute reservation during the Blues festival in Gloucester. The Julietta House was an absolute gem. We stayed two nights but wish we could have stayed longer. A beautiful house with spacious rooms — extremely clean! Love all the little sitting areas for reading nooks — we will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone staying any place close to Gloucester/Rockland area. Susan, the owner, is an absolute treasure who seriously cares about her guests. Not to mention the location is walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants — great suggestions from the Julietta House. LOVE LOVE LOVe this little gem. See you soon!

Gorgeous, serene B&B in a terrific location, whether you're staying a few days or just one night like I did. Susan could not be more welcoming. Seriously — the rooms are gorgeous. Do yourself a favor. :) (Also highly recommend Saltwater Massage Studio, which is right around the corner, along with Holy Cow ice cream. )
