Nice and quiet hotel. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. Beautiful scenery all around. Highly recommended.

We have been twice and love the serenity and natural beauty, plus I love old houses The staff is great and we always eat breakfast and dinner there the food is great had the best burger I have ever eaten. Classic rooms with pretty views and a bullfrog or 2 in the pond. Enjoy.

Checking in for another wonderfully anticipated stay here at Windham. The only word that comes to mind to best describe it is perfection. There isn't a thing my husband and I would change! We have been regulars for the past 15 years and we have been thru the various innkeepers. All have brought their own special qualities and have strived to make all of our stays fantastic. Our little slice of heaven!

Superb Vermont country inn in a quiet, unspoiled, and stunningly beautiful setting. The rooms are rustically sophisticated; the food is worthy of urban dining with prices to match. Staffing is quietly attentive and full of nice touches such as overnight snow removal from your car, turndown service, and bottled water for the road. Highly recommended.

We had a great relaxing stay at this resort. The Staff was very friendly and the setting peaceful. Only concern was the service in the restaurant, on a few occasions, seemed disorganized. Food was great service could just use a few tweaks.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel thst blends classic and modern themes and decor. Honestly the best food I have ever eaten.

My husband and I did not have a good experience. The Wi-Fi was down our entire 3 day stay, and there are no televisions in the rooms. We did not have hot water, or good water pressure. We we called reception to let inquire about the lack of hot water and Wi-Fi, we were told the Wi-Fi had been reset and when the inn is booked and everyone is using the water, the inn runs out of hot water. Our breakfast all three mornings was great, our dinner in the dining room, however, was terrible. We ordered the pork belly for appetizer and the duck for our entree. The pork belly was charred, and the duck was so tough you couldn't cut into it, and we ordered it as chef recommeded. Rachel, the Innkeeper, sadly to say, was not at all helpful. We had our bags at the sidewalk up to the Inn, and instead of helping us with our bags, she walked right around them. No one offered to help us with our bags. On top of that, there was black ice on the walk up to the Inn. It was treacherous, and no one seemed to care. My husband and I stay in Relais & Chateau's all over the world, and honestly, we do not feel this Inn is in the par of a Releais & Chateau property. We were sorely disappointed. And, lastly, upon checkout with Rachel, (the Innkeeper), she never once asked how our stay was. We would have been happy to say what made our experience less than the level of a Relais & Chateau standard. The Inn is mis managed, and Rachel seemed very unbothered, and ambivalent.

My boyfriend and I stayed here the past few days for my birthday and it was absolutely amazing! The innkeeper/assistant innkeeper are so friendly, polite, and accommodating as well as the entire staff! The breakfast is delicious and you have several options to pick from which we have not experienced at other B&B's. They have a huge tea/coffee selection to take advantage of throughout the day as well as a cheese plate every evening! We were obsessed with the pool and the view from the pool is unbeatable. There is also a hammock down the hill from the pool where we watched the sunset over the mountains! The deck next to the common room is a great place to sit outside at night with a blanket and some wine and stargaze as there is very little light pollution — I've never seen so many stars! We are in love with the place and will most likely be returning in the fall! Thank you for having us!

Enjoyed an all-too-brief but blissfully relaxing time at the Windham Hill Inn. The staff were helpful and so pleasant; the room charming and gorgeous with a private tower-like staircase, Jacuzzi tub, fireplace, and a deck overlooking the meadows and mountains (also excellent for star-gazing) ; the breakfast absolutely scrumptious (highly recommend the french toast) ; and the meadows brimming with wildflowers were pure magic for morning rambles. I miss it already.

The Inn is peaceful, rooms beautiful and food delicious!

What a dream! I felt like I was in some romantic movie or something. We got back from skiing and were welcomed with afternoon tea and scones, followed by a cheese plate. The dinner was delightful, the room large and comfortable, and just fabulous, attentive service. They even cleaned off our car after the snow storm. I would go back there in a heartbeat, and hope I can soon! What a little jewel nestled in the mountains.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and then spent two nights at another Relais and Chateaux. The service at Windham Hill was far superior. The innkeeper and staff were very warm and welcoming, and they went above and beyond to cater to my food allergies. I haven't had gluten free bread as delicious as Katja made it! Thank you so much for an enjoyable stay.
