The experience has been super, this is my second stay here and the staff here is friendly the rooms are well kept and it’s very quiet.

Pool area is lovely, the rooms are spacious, the lounge area is comfy and the coffee in the morning is great.

My wife and I booked this hotel when we went to visit garlic fest on Labor day weekend. When we arrived after dark, it wasn't obvious where the hotel was, as it is actually in the back behind a Baptist church. When we finally found it, the parking lot was slightly shady as there were little to no lights in the lot. The rooms themselves are somewhat outdated, and the whole building had like a musty smell to it, but otherwise I felt like they were relatively clean.

I love staying at the paradise, the staff is always friendly, rooms always comfortable and clean, it's no 5 star hotel but I have no complaints. Then again I dont need fancy accommodations. I highly recommend the paradise.

Room had bed bugs. After being cutoff and promptly told that they don't have bed bugs I let staff know I had bites, pictures, and videos. The authenticity of the pictures was questioned so we walked over to the room where it took only a few seconds to find one on a pillow. I received a full refund and a reluctant apology as I walked out the door.

Great inn keeper made our experience awesome. Lovely location and has a pool which we enjoyed at the end of a hot summer day. Walking distance to this quaint little town.

I've been coming to Bennington for 15+ years (I stay elsewhere that's like a 2nd home) and driven by but never knew about Paradise Inn before because you can't see it from the road. A last minute change of plan brought me here, and I was delighted to discover this sweet, secret hideaway and that oasis in the back with the wonderful pool and grounds. What a treat! I stayed in a standard Queen room, and it was clean, spacious and comfortable (but could use new pillows and a better cable connection), and the staff are all warm and welcoming. The Brown Cow Cafe was unfortunately closed for the exact 3 days I visited over July 4th, but I imagine it's a great convenience for breakfast right there next door. I appreciated the free Bennington Banner in the common area each morning with my coffee. Took a morning dip in the pool on my last day, and it was so refreshing and peaceful. I would recommend Paradise Inn to everyone — it's such a great value. I normally avoid under 3 star hotels, but this inn is a gem!

We spent the night in a nice room. Wish that the bathroom door didn't face the bed. Bed was a little bouncy.

The room was in good shape. Probably could've used a thorough cleaning but wasn't concerningly dirty that I couldn't sit down or sleep. It would've helped if they had the heat on in the room before we arrived. For the price, we were happy. Only there for about 7 hours in the night and morning so didn't get to see anything but our room.

We've only been here a couple of times, but we absolutely love it! Super pet friendly, with pet rooms leading out to a gorgeous grassy area, that is 90% fenced in, with nice trees, shrubs, chairs & tables to hang out with my dog. Very clean rooms, that are spacious. The staff is awesome! We will only stay here, when we're in the area. Thank you so much!

Absolutely love this place it's beautiful! The price is very reasonable. The rooms are amazing I have stayed in all different types of rooms suites, economy, etc and they are all amazing, very clean but very classy. The staff is very nice and go above and beyond good customer service. It is definitely my first and only choice in this area. No complaints at all overall wonderful stay every time.

I stayed here during Fall 2017. We stayed for one night here and the experience was lovely. The rooms were decent and clean. The service was good. I would recommend this place if to visit again. There are some good restaurants close by esp loved a burger joint. I left my phone charger behind and they were prompt to send it back to me quick. Thank you for that.

This was our first stay and the desk personnel were very helpful in providing info about the surrounding area. Rooms are plenty large enough and comfortable. Disappointed that the weather prevented us from taking a swim, since that is one of the features we were looking forward to. Close to walkable spots.

For only 77 bucks, this place is more than adequate! I reserved a deluxe room and it's huge! Relatively clean unlike some dingy motor inn. I am a Marriott fan but this place is just fine!

Great night sleep. We stopped here last minute driving through to NH on Christmas night. Greeted with smiles and smooth check in. Parking on site. Rooms were reasonable. Comfy. Cozy. Thanks for the z's. Free coffee got us going in the morning.

Not good. We were super excited to find a nice place to go for our 2 year wedding anniversary that accepted pets. The pictures online of the "King Sauna" room looked delightful. Too bad, when we arrived we were given a room that looked absolutely nothing like it. When I told the front desk about the issue they simply said we're entirely booked and can't guarantee rooms. Not even an apology for false advertising. They didn't even ask how our stay was when we checked out, otherwise I would have told them how disappointed we were. Not worth $185.00, that's for sure. The headboard was attached to the wall, no bed frame as shown in online picture. Dingy comforter/quilt on the bed. (online picture shows otherwise) I slept in my clothes! The sauna? BARELY fits one person… however that was the only part of the room that was as described, hence the two star rating. Very WEIRD pictures on the wall? One looked like a ghost woman and the others were not nice to look at it, in the least. Luckily my husband and I have a sense of humor and we have jokes now about the weird room. Will not return, don't waste your time.

The Paradise Inn is our second home, for over 20 years, to relax and recover from the madness of city life! The inn was built on a beautiful property, complete with gorgeous gardens, huge trees, a great outdoor pool and chairs, tables and lounges scattered about to hang out in this peaceful paradise. Bennington is a great jumping off place for leaf peepers and others to discover Vermont. The rooms are clean and spacious, some with saunas, and the owners and staff are wonderful people, always ready to accommodate whenever possible. Many of the ground level rooms have sliding doors that open directly to the pool and gardens in the back of the hotel, which might be a convenience to the elderly or families with young children. The Paradise Inn is a peaceful gem, and my husband and I are grateful we found it decades ago.

We had a 26 year old springy mattress among other things. Room was not dirty but very dated/worn out. Couldn't call the desk to ask for better accommodation because the phone directory is blank. Had to walk over. Desk staff were kind and helpful and looked to find me something in their "newer" buildings. Nothing was available except another room in their "oldest" building that I was already in. As for compensation they couldn't do anything much at the time because they're "not authorized". (which I believe). I'd have to do that in the morning with management, so that means I pretty much have to stay here and couldn't get my money (or some of it) and leave. 2 deadbolts on door, the one by itself and not associated with the room key mechanism does not operate, the holes don't line up for the bolt. 2 stars because I have friends in their newer building which wasn't bad at all, but I guess its just luck where you end up. When booking, request a room in the first building nearest check-in.

So I'm here now at 5:30 A. M. Wrestling with the notion to sleep on the floor as it can't be worse than the bed. ALSO if you are a smoker, THIS IS THE PLACE for you! The wall unit is placed above the lower deck so you have the distinct pleasure of having the lower level smoke pass right through it. We played a game of sorts trying to map the steps of your neighbor based on the sounds you hear. (The patio sliding door from below was the most prevalent and therefore earned the least amount of points). I gave 2 stars because I'm a realist and this is a two story MOTEL in a mountain town. Wait I can literally hear the smoker below us clear his lung butter through the plumbing (I'm not exaggerating). Sleep in your car instead!

Great place! It isn't new, but the rooms are clean and the inn is well run. HIGHLY recommended if you are traveling with a dog… Pet policy is very reasonable, and the grounds offer plenty of room for exercising. Opt for the premier room type if possible, it's definitely a worthwhile upgrade… Bigger rooms, better views, some with hot tubs or saunas. One difficulty, It's a little hard to find for the first time, sort of hidden behind another motel. But as a result the property has a nice, quiet residential feel.

The room was ok. Outdated but it appeared to be clean. They had a really nice outdoor area and pool. While we were there some people had some refurbished early 1900s cars and it was really cool to see those. I'm not sure if they're always there or if we just got lucky. Unfortunately, the service when we arrived was less than satisfactory. We had to wait 20 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk and when she did, she was dismissive of us and our questions and when we asked if there was a second floor room available, she said no without checking, which I found to be rude especially since it didn't seem like there was too much for her to do, given we were the only people around. For the rate of the room, I expected better customer service.

It is well rub with a beautiful setting. It has about an outdoor pool and a gym. It has otherr amenities as well. Lovely large rooms and helpful staff.

Clean, quiet and a great location about. 3mi from downtown/main street. The village chocolate shop is not to be missed if you stay here or in this area!

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Nice Vibe. Denise at the desk was helpful and accommodating. No hassles check in & Close to town, decent dining and attractions. A Definite winner. My only problem was the "Continental Breakfast. ". A few donuts one day? All in all a pleasant stay. Will go back!

Like most other places in Bennington, this inn is outdated. No refrigerator, no microwave, and there was a musty smell to the room. The bed size listed did not seem accurate to the actual size. The sheets were clean, but there were some bugs in the room near the window and in the bathroom. They are pet friendly, and the location is nice. Overall, this inn is decent, and was much more preferable than the other small, local inns.

Cannot rate this place highly enough. For $140 my room has its own sauna and jacuzzi plus king-sized bed, BEAUTIFUL views both in front of the hotel and of the pool area from my room, a refrigerator, and it's MINUTES from the city center walking. Awesome in every sense.

I love coming to stay at the Paradise inn! The staff are so friendly and I felt like I was coming home. I am so greatful to find such a high quality place that will allow me to bring my dogs. Anytime I am in the area this is where I want to stay.

Very friendly staff and the rooms were clean and well put together for what I felt was a good price. The only problems I found was the showerhead that didn't spray water very well, and the TV had quite a bit of static. While these didn't necessarily bother me for a one night stay, extended guests would probably find this irritating.

My husband and I have been going to the Paradise Inn for over 20 years! The owners are delightful, the rooms are clean and spacious, and the grounds are stunning… mature trees, bushes and flowers, etc. Go to relax by the pool, or as a great jumping off spot to lots of Vermont's wonders. There is delicious free coffee in the morning, and a sweet cafe on the grounds. You can't go wrong!

I'm very happy with Paradise Inns in Bennington, I would recommend it to anybody. I think we're due for another stay before winter.

Got a room over AirBnB. Beautiful room with a great pool. No breakfast but that was expected. There was a nice cafe on the property. Only stayed one night, but would return.

I always look forward to coming back to the Paradise each year in early June. They are very accommodating and friendly to me and our group. They even handle special requests with no problem. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Bennington.

The Paradise Inn is my favorite place to stay when I am in the southwest corner of Vermont. I have stayed here repeatedly and it has always been nice. Whether it is for one night or for five nights in a row, it is where I would want to be staying.

Just left the Paradise Inn and can't wait to go back. They are friendly and welcoming (to our little dog, too) and the place is spotlessly clean, comfortable mattresses, beautiful grounds, good coffee in the morning. All in all a pleasure. Just wish more people would visit Bennington and stay there. The big draw for certain people (like my husband) is Hemming's, right across the street, but the inn is convenient to everything. We walked the entire town, toured Bennington Pottery, the glass studio and brewery, cute restaurants. It's a great location for skiing and for hiking and summer activities. We would not think of staying anywhere else and look forward to bringing the grandkids next time.

Paradise Inn is a very nice place to stay. There is a lot of history in the area, so there is always plenty to do. I like that the locals in the area seem friendly as well.

I stayed here for two nights when I was in Bennington. It was nice, clean and comfortable. The staff members were really nice. I called for extra blankets and they had them to my room within a half an hour.

When we stayed at the Paradise Inn the management provided us with an in room refrigerator, which they don't normally do, because my boyfriend travels with medication that needs to be refrigerated. At no extra charge. Their understanding and compassion will make us come back.

Loved this hotel and the walkable distance to the businesses of Bennigton. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Nice grounds with a large communal grassy courtyard with pretty, lush woody plants. Great for a night after backpacking. >^. ^.

I've stayed at Paradise Inn two different occasions when first coming to the area. The first time a coworker/boss recommended it above anything else and I very much enjoyed my stay here. The second time I came back I have had another room, which is equally if not more amazing with an excellent view of the pool and the mountains. The owner Phil is excellent, the staff are all amazing, the pool is well maintained rooms have newer HVAC, balconies and the hotel is distant from Main St so there is no road noise. The rooms also have blackout curtain's so that no light is let into the room. The room's are very large and clean, and compared to hampton inn which is the only nice place in the area other than Paradise at a 100% greater price, this hotel is a steal. I have been in the area about 3 month's and have stayed at multiple hotel's, this really is an incredible value.

My fiance and I had decided to take a last minute trip for Valentine's Day with our dog. We wanted to find a place up in the southwestern corner of the state where dogs were allowed and we found Paradise Inn. Everything was great.

We stayed at Paradise Inn for just one night as a stop during a vacation. It is in a good spot, with a beautiful view. I liked that there was a fridge in our room to keep some drinks cold before we left in the morning. The bed was more comfortable than you'd expect from a hotel. Easiest the most comfortable place I have ever stayed away from home.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Paradise Inn a few weeks ago on our way home from Canada. The hotel was a nice and quiet place to stay the night. The rooms were clean and spacious, and at the right price. We were impressed we were able to get a room there last minute. We plan on going back for a weekend get away when the weather gets nicer.

The Paradise Inn is at a great location, close to downtown. My family and I have always had an enjoyable stay here each and every time we have been here. The location, the friendliness of the staff and the price cannot be beat.

We have traveled with our dog as well and it has gone very smoothly at the hotel. Great location to town and highways, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Nice family-owned and run business. Booked a double queen, and loved the warm and homey decor. The grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are well situated off the main road for light sleepers. Even our room overlooking the parking lot had beautiful fall foliage views. Mattresses are okay — could use an upgrade — but I slept fine. I'd also welcome a small coffeemaker and microwave in my room to go along with the mini fridge. Local Dutch bakery Bakkerij Krijnen owner Jen said she recommends the Paradise Inn to everyone.

Clean and comfortable. I paid $130 with tax and a pet. No breakfast just coffee. I was told here and the Hampton were the best spots in Bennington.
