Catamount Motel Inn

This is an older motel nothing like the new ones, but it is clean and run by nice people. It doesn't have central air. Each unit has a small air-conditioned that isn't strong enough to cool the room.

Probably the cleanest, best priced motel we've stayed at on our whole trip, definitely stay AGAIN. Close to restaurant and center of town. Perfect hosts.

For the price, and being a thru hiker it wasn't too bad, especially with the included shuttle to the trailhead. But the room was a little rundown, and the bathroom could definitely use some work.

Owner was a really nice guy who would help with anything he could and his rates were the best in town. Fast check in. Rooms were clean and more modern than you would expect from the look of the place. Fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in room. Wi-Fi was fast. Convenient to downtown Bennington.

Traveling through New England on a road trip I was all worried about staying here based on Yelp reviews. I was totally happy with my stay. I've stayed in every kind of hotel and even on this road trip, by far, this is the cleanliest hotel I've stayed at. Wi-Fi, refrigerator, microwave, A/C, and **cleanliness** and this makes the room practically perfect. I would stay here again.

The rooms are very clean, well maintained. The people are very good. The motel manager is very much supportive especially for hikers. I will surely book my rooms next time.

Price for the area is good. The mold in the bathroom is not. The motel has been here for some time and so has clorox.

This place was the closest thing to a charge by the hour motel. The smell in my room was definitely an attention getter. On top of the smell there was no TV in the room and our fridge had food left in it from probably the previous month. The shower was falling apart and needed a shower itself before I used it. I was very dissapponted with this motel because it actually looked nice from the outside. On a good note the view of the mountains in the morning was great.
