Consistency is one of the best things they do. The food is great, we have been here 3 times in the past 2 years and it has always been great.

Pros: fascinating decor everywhere (converted Catholic Church), super comfortable room (huge, high bed, great matching swivel chairs, awesome shower and high-tech jacuzzi, terrace off the bathroom overlooking quiet Sandwich street), relaxing and cozy sitting area with coffee, excellent restaurant with high-end (and, from a Boston perspective, not real high-priced) food. Place is spotless. Cons: some caulking needed in the shower. 🤷🏻‍♂️

We had a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner we are both my children have been christened. The Belfry was a great choice. Great atmosphere, great service and delicious Thanksgiving dinner. All the way from soup to nuts. I would highly recommend it next year or before.

My family and I had a great time spending our thanksgiving here. The whole staff was welcoming and made sure all are needs were met with ease and a smile. The dinner was delectable, I will definitely be coming back for future events. ☺️😋✨🦃🧡🧡

5 Stars. We had our first visit today (Thanksgiving 2021) and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Our food and service was a 10! We will return! Highly recommend.

Went for the Tuesday room, returning for the food and staff! Wonderful place. We only live a half hour away, but getting away to this place for a night was a great reset! Will definitely be back!

Our lunch was absolutely wonderful. All fresh and cooked to perfection by chef CJ. Dessert was soooo yummy as well. Highly recommend it.

From soup to nuts everything was wonderful. How we missed “dining”. Every course was wonderful. The short ribs melted in your mouth. Salads delicious and so fresh. Desserts were amazing. First night out, having a cocktail and sitting down to eat. Tired of taking out. We will be back soon!

Was there for my birthday dinner it used to be my favorite. We ordered the faui gras as an appetizer. It came so dried up or maybe frozen, that we couldn’t even break through it with a butter knife, let alone spread it on a cracker. We asked our server to take it away because we couldn’t eat it. My salmon was smothered in a overly spiced sauce and cold in the center. My husbands swordfish was just o. K. The place is absolutely charming, and very pricey. We will not be going back, and NO they did not take the faui gras off the bill.

We stayed here on our return trip home. What a gorgeous room. The owner worked very hard to accommodate us, since we got there a bit later in the evening. The massage was great. Live piano was so neat. It was odd that there was no attendant when we left our keys, but overall, very clean and very neat place to stay. :)

If you’re looking for a restaurant with some interesting history… this is it. A former church that has been magnificently restored boasts a great new spring menu that includes filet with prawns and a rack of lamb that were out of this world. We planned ahead to take our time, have a drink at the bar, listen to the sounds from the baby grand and then really enjoy. Our server, CeCe was fantastic and really made it a special evening.

We recently hired Chris and his team at The Belfry Inn to host an amazing wedding ceremony and cocktail hour for ourselves and 65 guests. The garden patio was a beautiful and perfect place to comfortably seat everybody for the ceremony, and the dining room was arranged perfectly for the staff to pass hors d'oeuvres and for the guests to partake in some drinks prior to a reception off-premises. Chris was able to accommodate all of our requests, and went above and beyond to ensure we, and everyone in attendance, had an amazing experience. Thank you for helping secure ceremony chairs, the officiant, and cater to our guests with food allergies. Everybody was immensely impressed with the quality of food prepared by your chefs and the service that followed. We particularly heard ravings about the chicken skewers and burger sliders, and appreciate the attention to detail your team put into every bit of a wonderful afternoon. Church turned B n B — Located on a quaint street just off main roadway. 7 rooms with lovely church decor.

Usually this place is very good but last night was not thir best. My dinner came and the pork was raw in the inside. It had no flavor, was very disappointing.

Great location in the heart of the Sandwich Historic District. Old Catholic church converted to a B & B. Nice unique rooms, and a very accommodating staff and excellent food.

Very quaint. Rooms very clean. Place was quiet. Bed was so comfortable! Staff all helpful and friendly. Delicious breakfast was included. Restaurant and bar upscale. It was in the "church" building with some original church stained glass windows. Very nice!

Bistro closed on a Tuesday, Burger Bar also closed on a Tuesday, no bar service and nobody on front desk. Our room was only OK, no bath robes or bottled water in room we had to go to a neighbouring hotel for dinner and bottled water. Breakfast was the only positive thing I can feedback on. Overall disappointed.

The chef's tasting menu was amazing! Definitely worth it!

I'll say up front, this isn't my kind of place, but, they a good at what they do. The food portions are small, but the Chef is obviously very proud of their menu and takes pride in presentation. I don't drink wine, but they have a large selection and the table next to us mentioned how wonderful it was. The restaurant is in an old church, which is kind of cool, of you're into that kind of thing. The tables are set to be fancy and quaint. The staff are formal and friendly. The parking is terrible, but not the restaurant's fault. There are booklets that tell the stories of the church, family, and history of the restaurant. As I said, not my kind of place, but it was worth going once for me.

Very cosy hotel with lovely, warm rooms and comfy beds. Decorated very well in a converted church. The restaurant downstairs is spacious and has a bar. The breakfast service is excellent with delicious waffles, tea and other things. Despite not having had dinner in the restaurant myself, it looks nice judging from the menu. Fantastic hotel.

Amazing, Charming and exquisite… the location is so inviting, private and the reception at the door was warm and as if we were guests at the Inn as well … someday we will stay overnight for sure … The restraunt was Amazing! The food totally ** impressive! and the service was incredibly first class! If you have a special day to celebrate or want to impress your date … no question this is the place! This inn is superb. It's worth every penny to stay here. I suggest it over the other places I've been to in the area. As for the food. My wife and I loved it. It is expensive to eat at the restaurant, but the food is amazing. The ambience is very cool. Impeccable service and food. If you want a romantic restaurant to bring your spouse to, this is the place to go! Also, they serve a full menu at the bar, which comes in handy if you haven't made a reservation.

Nice place to stay, good beds, air conditioning right on your face when you sleep is the only issue. Sandwich is very, very, very quiet, don't expect anything else than closed shops and nobody around, but a beautiful place to go around Cape Code.

Beautiful inn. Right in the heart of Sandwich, MA. It's such a quaint area. The owner is very nice and friendly. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. My husband and I came here 8 years ago before we got married and decided to stay here again while we were in the area. This is a very nice place to relax and enjoy the area. We will be making this our go-to place to stay!

There should be many more stars! Words are not enough to describe the beauty & bliss! I spent 9/9/17 evening at the Belfry Inn Bistro with a dear friend /former coworker to celebrate my birthday weekend. We enjoyed "over the top "cuisine & wine accompanied by beautiful and soothing piano music by Jamie! Our bartender, Eric, was fabulous! He knows the secret to "pop" in opening champagne! Very professional and friendly. I know and respect Chris Wilson, the owner, and it was so good to see him after several years. Chris and the Belfry sparkle even more with time! Thank you for an exquiste dining experience & a very magical evening! See you again soon!

Place is amazing. Beautifully renovated Catholic Church. Bar is beautiful and situated where the altar once was. Drinks fantastic but pricey. Did not eat but food menu looked interesting.

Nice Inn with unique guest rooms in historic building. Staff is friendly and food is good. If you have a room in the 'Painted Lady' building, you just need to walk downstairs to get a bite of the best burger in town. The main building is a church that was converted to a restaurant with guest rooms.

The Belfry is a must go. The quality of food preparation & presentation is top notch. Our server Taskin took the whole experience over the top. The charcuterie board was spot for an app. Great cocktails and extensive wine list. Don't miss the gelato.

Great place for a special event or a nice relaxing night out. The food is amazing and there are tons of interesting items to look at. Like a confessional that is now a wine closet!

Was here for mother's day. The bistro is lovely and our sever was good. The buffet was well stocked throughout our meal and the food was very good. The mushroom ravioli was delicious, as was the carved beef. This is a great spot, and I hope to eat here again.

This has become our favorite special occasion restaurant! Laurie and Kenny never disappoint as servers. And the hostess is so sweet and inviting. What a wonderful Mothers Day! Highly recommend for any occasion.
