When initially reading these reviews, we were really concerned with this hotel after having been booked there (as a secret hotel through Priceline). That said, we came to find the hotel was absolutely fine by our standards. We could tell our room was recently renovated and thought it was nice. There was a fridge with an icemaker, a garburator/garbage disposal in the sink (although it looks like they may have disconnected it for safety reasons), a dishwasher, surface stovetop etc. Very nice amenities for the pricerange we paid ($75 as a secret hotel on Priceline). The only things we'd consider 'downsides' in our experience were breakfast and a select few staff's unsympathetic attitude. This is a hotel which is obviously geared for longer-term stays — where the expectation is you will have your own groceries and will make your own food in your room given the mini-kitchen. If you are looking for a hotel that has an elaborate continental breakfast, this place is not for you. To be fair, I can't knock this hotel for that — we knew this coming in and the hotel advertises it as such, but this is just something to keep in mind. We ate breakfast elsewhere each day and were fine with that. In terms of the staff's attitude, the gentleman who checked me in didn't seem to care and had a disinterested attitude. I don't think this is always the case though, because the gentleman I dealt with checking out was the complete opposite — polite and had a great attitude. At no point were any of them rude to me or gave me a tough time. One last suggestion — we also went for a couple night stay and had our son sleep on the pull out sofabed. Make sure you ask to get bedding for the sofabed because it didn't have any when we arrived (you have to request it). Also, make sure to ask for any utensils / cups / cooking items at the front desk when checking in as such items quickly run out apparently (they are handed out when requested and aren't necessarily in the room). Hope this helps anyone else who is on the fence based on prior reviews.
