Clean bed comfortable really good places.

The Sales Manager, Lisbell Rivera, and staff have been exceptionally friendly and willing to meet our every need for the duration of our stay. This isn’t a luxury hotel, but the staff and accommodations have met and exceeded our expectations.
Our large group of many families has felt comfortable and at home in using the lobby and facilities for meeting and eating together and haven’t felt like we were in the way, even when many of the kids are running around and playing.

Very clean! Room was nice. The only down side was the bed. The bed sucked it had a V in it. Which means when we lady down myself and my wife rolled into each other. Other then that very nice.

Very nice hotel, having a ball and the bar is on point.

Housekeeping was rude about us wanting our room serviced as we were leaving at 1pm for the day. My husband said you could just replace the towels and they made inappropriate comments to each other in Spanish thinking we didn't understand what was implied.

Checked in for 1 night. Had to walk back & forth from our room to the front desk many times because our key cards wouldn’t work before finally switching rooms. 2 stars because when I booked/fully paid for the room there was NO mention of a $250 deposit that is NOT returned right away :) every other hotel has informed me when an additional deposit is required. Thanks for the surprise bill but will not return because of this inconvenience.

Decent place, great location, nice employees. Quiet, clean spacious room. Small pool and basic breakfast but can't beat it for the price! I would stay again and recommend to others.

This Fairfield Inn is nicely situated of the highway and has a freshly remodeled feel. It's a pretty standard cat 2 hotel. Between the well lit, large parking area and good front desk staff, it's a good stop over while on the road.

Nice! Modern decor and great amenities highlight this overnight stay connected to an Irish pub! Pool is a little small but that's really the only bad thing I have to say. Friendly staff and the rooms are very clean and new. Convenient location and Highly recommended!

Wonderful staff entire stay was more than great. Very clean home like atmosphere. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. Nice swimming pool small but very kid friendly. The accommodations are well worth the price. I would definitely stay there again and I will recommend it to friends.

I'm a big Marriott fan. This is your typical Fairfield Inn. Simple but clean and friendly staff. Waxy's is right there if you're hungry or you can drive a little bit and find a couple awesome places.

Very clean hotel with comfortable beds and a large bathroom. We stayed for a wedding in Southington, and this hotel was very pleasant. The attached pub provided entertainment into the late evening, and is far enough removed from the rooms to not be a bother. My only issue was the continental breakfast. Eggs were powdered and the oatmeal was about 90% water and 10% oats.

Well I went to the restaurant waxy O'Connors the service was adequate the food was good and tasted fresh.

Very clean, well kept hotel. Nice people attending customers. But no coffee resupply in room, coffe machines that did not work, hot water to shower that was barely warm, no towels replenishment.

Tried to discreetly inform the bar manager of a cockroach stuck in a painting on the wall. His response was very dismissive and refused to do anything about it… the manager of the establishment didn't make his way over in till after our bill was paid and the Facebook post went out… FIRST AND LAST VISIT! Won't let me post without at least one star.

Had my wife's birthday party in the Blarney Room part of Waxy O'Connors (adjoining Fairfield Inn Plainville) Reggie the restaurant manager, made sure everything went off without a snag. Everyone said the place was great, food was delicious, wonderful time, two thumbs up.

Awesome place. Friendly atmosphere, good breakfast and O'conners downstairs if you want to get a drink. Cant wait to come back!

Great little hotel. I stayed because we were playing in a wheelchair basketball tournament over in New Britain. The lady front desk was really friendly. Rooms were clean and breakfast buffet was delicious. Will use them again for tournaments on the area.

The room was great. Customer service was fine. I chose this hotel over much cheaper options because the kids wanted a pool and I wanted to try the jacuzzi (I had a stroke leaving my left side paralyzed and the muscles always tight). We were on the second floor and the ice machine was broken, so I had to go down to the lobby and use one there. Not bad for normal people, but difficult for me. The MAIN reason for my low scoring is because the pool and jacuzzi were out of order. That was the only reason I paid so much to stay there. I complained and they could only offer a free night's stay in the hotel. Which is nice except for the fact that this was a one-time trip to Connecticut and would never be there again and they couldn't transfer the free stay to a location near me.

Stayed here on New Year's Eve with only 1 complaint. When checking in, overheard desk clerk asking housekeeping employee if all the rooms had been cleaned. She said yes but, a couple of rooms still needed towels. When we got to our room door was open with dirty towel on floor outside of room & no soap, washcloths, or shampoo in room. Went back down to tell clerk and she said they'd be right up. Went down 45 mins. Later to tell clerk they still did not arrive. They finally came 15 mins. Later. Really nice hotel though. Redoing the inside with new carpets, paint, etc. Bed was super comfortable And room was nice & clean.

Clean comfortable bed. Pillows were not great. Did not experience pool but by looks of it, it was not super inviting. Breakfast in the morning was nice with hard boiled eggs or scrambled with ham and cheese, home fries, bacon, fruits, cereals, pastries, bagels, bread, yogurts, juices, coffee and tea. Overall I would stay here again.

We have stayed here once before, for work. This second time we booked on a fairly short notice within two weeks. We stayed in early November 2017. When we got there, we went down to the hot tub, and it was closed! We talked to the manager, and he said that it was down for a part needed. It had already been down for two weeks… And, get this, it would be down for at least another two weeks. We complained heartily, because after a long day at work, this is the one thing we had looked forward to, to be able to come and relax in the hot tub. This is the reason we chose this hotel over some others in the area. Why couldn't they next day air the part in? Think of all the people that are booking this hotel thinking they are getting a hot tub, and then disappointed getting there and it's not available! I notice other reviews, even from Sept. 2017 which also state the hot tub was closed. I think for a hotel this is entirely unacceptable. So we left and went to a little more expensive place. We talked to Marriott Customer Service, were on the phone with them for about 2 hours. They said that they would give us 20, 000 reward points, but that for compensation for the Fairfield Inn 100% guarantee that they advertise, it would have to come from the manager. Well after much waiting the manager offered only 2500 additional points.

This hotel really isn’t worth the one star honestly, rooms were falling apart my room was double booked so as I am putting my stuff away someone had a key to enter that’s as not with me. Staff was rude. I witnessed them undeserving booked rooms and saying “we will figure it out later” breakfast was under cooked (cold sausage) undercooked eggs. This place really needs to be re-evaluated. Mold in bathrooms, holes in floor and ceilings. Water leaking in a friends room out the ceiling of their shower which has a large hole. It was a mess. I’m not impressed and was not worth the money spent! We booked rooms well in advance and our group was all over the place!

Staff was rude at times. Hotel was very overbooked especially for those who booked or reserved online. Bathroom was decent sized, rooms were comfortable. Biggest issue very small pool and unfriendly staff at times.

The room was lovely. Staff was super helpful. The hot water was not hot. After almost five hours of driving, I needed that hot shower or soak. Lukewarm. At night, in the morning, just not quite hot. The staff apologized but nothing changed. I've got four plus hours on a plane today. I needed to relax, instead I'm headed onward together and sore.

I enjoy staying here. The front desk personnel and other staff are very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are always clean and comfortable.

I stayed at Fairfield Inn & Suites during a hot weekend in the summer when I didn't have air conditioning in my apartment. The hotel clerk was very welcoming and made us feel at home. We had dinner at the attached restaurant, Waxy O'Connor's, and then spent the rest of the weekend hanging out in our air conditioned room. The hotel is a little dated. Our room was tidy and very clean, but it was muggy and smelled of mold. I'm assuming this is due to the age of the hotel and the wallpaper. The air conditioner was not helpful in alleviating the smell or the moisture that clung to the air, but it did keep us cool, which was the objective for staying here. The room took some getting used to, but after the initial adjustment, we were okay. Fairfield Inn & Suites served its purpose for the weekend.

I was there for about an hour. My parents booked a room for a wedding and I used it to get ready (i didn't spend the night). Seemed pretty clean, but is under renovation. I expect it to be much better in the coming weeks. The place has a swimming pool, but it is tiny. It's really just large enough for 8 people to stand in. No actual swimming is possible here, even if alone. Other than that, nice place and conveniently located for The area.

Stopped in the pub for a drink and apps before a movie. The drinks were good but the apps had some issues. The truffle fries are way over salted which seems to be a common theme in reviews and wait staff seemed to have heard that before. Why they don't put less salt, I don't know. Atmosphere was nice for a hotel bar.

Met friends for dinner and drinks at the bar. Waitress was awesome until shift change. New waiter was not busy and not attentive. Tool 30 min to check out. Food was very good, clean, good atmosphere except the only thing on the TVs was ESPN.

Nice hotel, staff was friendly, and a decent variety of food for breakfast. The pool is very small but nice. The deepest it goes is 4 fert. There's also a hot tub as well. Check in was easy, room was clean and bed wad comfortable. Overall very nice.

It was really good and well organised. The location is easy to get to and is across the road from retaurant, a spiffed up amc movie theater amd.

Great hotel! Basically what I expected; nice rooms with solid service. Breakfast included was the same; good quality and availability without being anything spectacular. Would stay here again.

Called months in advance to reserve 3 rooms for myself my wife and two other couples. We arrive to find out they only.

The night manager Donahue should be fired. Worst customer service I have ever had at a Marriott and I have stayed 100+ nights for the past few years at various locations around the country. Also, the climate control is horrible at night. This hotel also has weird rules such as women are not allowed to stay on the first floor. This hotel is just odd and poorly managed.

We had a great room. The receptionist was delightful.

Water pressure is weak and hot water supply is erratic. One morning I was taking a shower when the water supply was simply cut off for 5min. I sent my clothes for laundry and when it came back it was mixed with someone else's clothes and some of my clothes was missing. The pool and gym facilities are also miserable. Won't recommend unless no other option is available.

This is a nice, clean, spacious, and comfortable hotel. The majority of the reason for my 5 star rating however, was our check in experience. Madeline was SO helpful, kind, and funny too! So much so that I felt compelled to leave this review. She was a breath of fresh air, and deserves to be recognized!

After calling several hotels in CT, this was the first one that had rooms available. I checked the reviews, called for a rate, and we decided to stop there at about midnight. We were greeted by the night time manager, Donahue, who was extremely helpful. He checked us in quickly and we were shocked at how nice the room was, for such a great rate. The rooms are not only clean, but spacious, and the beds are wonderful. I would not only recommend this hotel, but I would recommend Donahue be recognized for both his professionalism and quality customer service!
