Innkeeper Donna is incredibly welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. She made us feel like we were old friends. The rooms are quiet and well-decorated, the grounds are lovely, breakfasts are hearty and hot. We will stay here again.

We had a wonderful weekend in Maine/New Hampshire with Admiral Peary Inn as our home base. Inn is comfortable and spacious. Donna is a great host. She was welcoming and gracious to all of us—3 humans and a dog. When we humans went off to town, our dog Ruby was allowed the run of the house in Donna’s care. Breakfasts were delicious. Other guests and their dogs were delightful. We will definitely return. And oh yes, Daisy and Gizmo, the official host dogs, are also friendly, welcoming, and so cute and funny. Thank you, Donna 👏👏👏

We absolutely LOVE visiting the Admiral Perry Inn! We visited again recently with our two nephews, and our 2 year old goldendoodle, and ALL of us had a PHENOMENAL experience. Our rooms were clean, comfortable and it felt like home. Donna, the owner, is a wonderful person and host! She is the aunt you’ve always wanted, and she welcomes you in her home with open arms. The breakfast is fantastic and she is always kind to accommodate my gluten allergy. I cannot say enough good things about our time at the Admiral Perry Inn! The priceless memories we made as a family, walking the dog on the stunning property, our family pool games in the den, sitting around the kitchen table talking etc. I would recommend this bed and breakfast to all of my friends and family and to anyone looking for a wonderful experience in the Fryeburg/North Conway area.

What a wonderful stay! The Inn is beautiful with so many rooms to relax in. The breakfast was delicious and, so I hear, if you give Donna the stink eye she’ll give you a second helping.

I found the Inn really comfortable and centrally located great for pets, lacking nothing (except a bathtub) but shower worked great. Donna works hard to provide for specific or special needs. My bed was really comfortable and room and bath were really clean! I enjoyed Donna’s homemade waffles best for breakfast. I felt perfectly safe walking my dog in the neighborhood.

The Inn is overall very clean and cozy, and full of history. Great location with tons to do within a 10 to 15 minutes drive. Donna, the innkeeper, is incredibly kind and went out of her way to ensure that both myself and my young son were always comfortable had everything we needed during our stay. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Donna’s dogs (Daisy and Gizmo) and the general pet friendliness is a huge plus. Can’t thank Donna enough for what she did during our stay and we will definitely be back!

Cycling group of 17 hit the inn for the weekend. Perfect accommodations and perfect service. Donna is da bomb. Booked it for next year. If you ain’t staying here — you are stupid. Some of the best cycling on the east coast. Super convenient, breakfast is superb and the BBQ PLACE just down the street will cater.

One of my favorite places in the world to go! I love my visits with Donna and seeing her feels like a home away from home!

Only a one-night stay at the Admiral Peary, but we loved the English Garden room on the top floor with views of the garden and the pretty residential street. Breakfast was great, and Donna made all the guests feel right at home and — it was as though we were an extended family sharing a meal. Donna works hard at innkeeping, and her guests benefit from her efforts. We're happy to recommend this place.

My husband and I stayed in the English Garden Room and LOVED IT! Donna works so hard to be a very accommodating hostess and we felt like we were staying with family. Her critters are VERY friendly and have quite the characters. The room was clean and peaceful. Blueberry Stuffed French Toast was yummy. Thank you again Donna, we'll be back soon!

Had a wonderful stay in the Garden room with the most comfortable bed and a lovely view of the garden. Donna, together with Daisy, Gizmo and Sasha went out of their way to make us welcome. We had a nice time. Very clean and quiet room. Comfortable bedding and spacious changing area. They do have cat and dog around so be careful of you have allergies. Easy walk-in check in and check out.

I just spent the best week of my life at the Admiral Peary Inn. The innkeeper is amazing! Thoughtful and extremely accommodating. Her pups, Daisy and Giz are the friendliest and sweetest dogs! I highly recommend this Inn! Book your room NOW!

This place is horrible. My friends and I stayed here not a place you want to stay. It needs a lot of works from outside to inside. I can't believe this place still open. Save your money and go somewhere else.

The Adrimal Peary Inn was extremely accommodating in every way at a time of great need! We had previously booked another location not too far away but due to unancipated circumstances we had to leave shortly after check in on short notice. Our previous hotel got in contact with the Adrimal Peary Inn and they were able to get us a room within a very short period of time. Our experience at the inn was fantastic! I was highly reccomend this place to any travelers looking to spend time in northern New England!

Donna, Gizmo, Sasha and Daisy were the BEST hosts! We were there for two nights and really felt like family. We stayed in the Oriental room which was beautiful and fun. Donna’s homemade granola was perfect for breakfast, but she offered so much more! We will definitely go back and highly recommend this charming dog friendly B&B. ❤️❤️❤️

My Husband and I have stayed at this adorable Bed and Breakfast two times and each time we had a warm welcome by Donna the inn keeper. Donna went above and beyond for her guests and made sure each guest had all they needed! She cooked breakfast each morning which was delicious and her paw pals made the atmosphere feel like home! I HIGHLY recommend this beautiful place! Thanks Donna and see you soon!

Beautiful Inn, wonderful innkeeper! We stayed at Admiral Peary and had a splendid time. Our dog was treated as royalty! Our weekend away was magnificent! The coffee is terrific! I blame the water — — such good water! The accommodations were comfortable and clean. The house spotless. B&B's are always a treat, and the innkeeper's breakfast, cooked to order, was sensational!

2nd time staying here. This place is cozy and comfortable and the proprietor, Donna, bends over backwards to be accommodating. If you're looking for the institutionalized, cookie cutter experience of a holiday Inn, this isn't it. I'm a native Mainer and this place provides the authentic, New England experience that would compliment a trip here, and not just be a clean bed to sleep in. That said, the beds are clean, comfortable, and the sheets are luxurious. This is a cozy, home environment that's a great and comfortable experience. I stay in quite a variety of places in my line of work and I look forward to staying here!

Upon arrival we were hesitant to go in based on the tattered and rundown appearance. Much to our disappointment the inside was even worse. Take a look a and with "Welcome Mat"… really Xmas decorations in the screened porch… it was June. With nowhere else to go we proceeded up the rickety stairs and into the porch then into the kitchen. We were greeted and were talking with the keeper and heard a dog barking upstairs. Well that was of course where "our" room was. After saying it'd be a problem we were charged extra to switch rooms. She does mean well but barking dogs in the facility was never mentioned over the phone or on the website. Was shown around… not impressed & the smell of cat urine was awful throughout the living room/dining room area. It was hardly inviting enough to feel comfortable sitting in. Nothing looked as if it'd been polished or refreshed for quite a while. I have two cats and our home never smells like that. I could only pray the room we were given wasn't the same. Well it didn't smell of urine but take a look at the peeling paint on the window sill there must be lead exposed with a house this old. And the overloaded on the plug isn't a good an idea either. No TV in the room & the portable AC unit was still in the closet. It was a humid June night we were so uncomfortable sleeping. This place is in such disrepair I'm surprised it's not been shut down.

I had a nice stay at the inn. The room was nice, the bathroom was large and modern with a great vanity. The inn itself was very nice, although I was a bit turned off by the old dog food left on the kitchen counter. The hostess was pleasant enough. Breakfast was unremarkable. The grounds were beautiful with all kinds of flowers blooming, a large backyard and a pretty barn. The inn is dog-friendly and there was a very well-behaved spaniel staying the same night.

Great B&B within a short walk to downtown. Love your breakfasts and hospitality!

My friends and I loved our recent Veteran's Day weekend stay at the Admiral Peary Inn. Donna, the owner, is a real hoot! She kept everyone on their toes with her humor and we all immediately felt welcome and comfortable at her inn. Donna made delicious breakfasts of apple French toast and egg, vegetable and cheese casserole with sides of sausage and strawberry rhubarb bread. I brought my pup, Mia, with me and Donna was so kind to allow Mia to roam the inn and spend time with her visiting family while I was out. Mia was thrilled to have Donna's attention! The resident pup, Maya, was a perfect hostess and even let Mia play with her basket of toys. My friends and I stay at a bed and breakfast every year to celebrate Veteran's Day with our husbands who have all served. I think it is safe to say that Donna's inn has been our favorite to date. I highly recommend this lovely inn for your next getaway!

My 8 year-old daughter and I spent a special mother/daughter overnight together here, and I chose it because of it having been Admiral Peary's home (and my daughter likes learning about scientists and explorers). Little did we know that we would both receive something a little more than the ordinary during our B&B stay here. I lost my mother last year (and my daughter lost her beloved grandmother, whom she called Mimi). We walked through the door of the Admiral Peary Inn, and my daughter's first words were, "It smells like Mimi's house! I love this smell! " I began to notice how good it seemed to be in a warm, welcoming older home with our friendly and fun host, Donna, and the friendly dog and cat were a huge added bonus. I think there was a little piece of my daughter that got a heartening reminder of what a visit with her Mimi used to feel like when we spent time chatting with caring Donna in her lovely home and sampled her yummy home-cooking. I guess I felt it too. Mostly, we both felt embraced by the gracious older house and by Donna's and the animals' welcoming personalities. My daughter didn't want to leave — not even to go out and get dinner. The rooms are very meticulously appointed and decorated, and Donna's home-cooked breakfast was delicious. If you want something more than a cold hotel room with no personal touches, you'll certainly get what you are looking for here. We will be back!
