We just returned from our daughters wedding hosted at The Old Sacco Inn. A truly beautiful setting and a most accommodating staff. The wedding party and bride and groom’s parents spent two nights there, stayed in what appeared to be converted horse stables, very comfortable. Rehearsal dinner was in the on-site Restaurant — food and service was excellent.
The wedding was outside with views of the White Mountains, staff even provided cold drinks and food during pictures.
Then we all (190) proceeded to the “barn” and this is no regular barn — a stunning setting with big open space and striking chandeliers. The excellent food and great service continued thru the evening.
Many thanks to John, Bruce, Kathy, Melanie, and all the rest of the staff behind the scene, for making Isaac and Eileen’s day so truly special. Xoxo,

Found this place online and it did not dissapoint! The owners are amazing and are running the show! They serve, cook, bartend, etc. Dinner was in the barn which is stunning. Food and drinks were delicious. The rooms are adorable and spacious. We can’t wait to come back!

The owners are extremely welcoming and friendly! The location is gorgeous and our room was very nicely decorated and cozy, as well as clean. The bathroom was spotless. Dinner was great with multiple choices on the menu. To end our stay we had a delicious breakfast and were able to enjoy the peaceful dining area! We'll be returning!

We just returned from a weekend at the Inn. It was so nice, quiet and peaceful. The owners are accommodating and friendly, the food was excellent. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of life, this is a great option. We will absolutely stay again.

Great stay! Friendly owners run this secluded riverfront getaway with many outdoor activities. Free canoes and kayaks to explore the Old Course Saco River. Close to many trails in Maine and the White Mountain National Forest — — we tried Black Cap at the innkeepers' suggestion and it was a beautiful short hike.

From the moment I pulled into the driveway I was relaxed. This was by far the most chill place I have ever stayed. There was no stress the room was immaculate. The private deck was serene overlooking the woods and views of the fields to the left. It would not be proper to keep this place to myself. Everyone I have seen since I left yesterday has had to listen to me about The Old Saco Inn. I am very pleased and looking forward to my next stay.

One of the best places I've ever stayed. Bruce and Jon made us feel right at home. They are just so so nice. Breakfast was DELICIOUS. We didn't want to leave. The river is right next to the inn and they have a driving range also. I would recommend this to everyone!

Atmosphere was great, but everything else was lacking, took ten to fifteen minutes for drinks to be brought to the table and when there were it was obvious they had been sitting out for awhile, food was mediocre and bland. Waitstaff said they were new, they were running around like they were super busy but there is only 15 tables total and they paid alot more attention to one's that were guest of the inn. Was recommended by relatives with high regards so might have been on off day.

Enjoyed The Old Saco Inn very much. Bruce and John makes it hard to leave. We had a great time. We are already planning our next visit.

Wonderful. Bruce and Jon are so great, so helpful and really fun. I had the best stay. I was all by myself, on an antique chair finding mission in the area, and can't begin to tell you how happy I am that I chose this place to stay. Wish I'd stayed longer.

The Old Sacco Inn is fantastic! The inn and grounds are beautiful and Jon and Bruce always greet you with a smile. You will instantly feel right at home. The beds are like clouds with big puffy duvets and we had delicious dinners in the restaurant both nights we were here. Highly recommend to everyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay! Thank you Jon and Bruce for a wonderful getaway weekend!

Our stay at the Inn was excellent. Sandi and Pete are wonderful. The Inn is beautiful, serene and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious every morning. It is easily accessible to many of the areas attractions, including Portland and the White Mountains (including Mount Washington). I cannot recommend this Inn highly enough!

The Old Saco Inn is absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in Heather's Loft — the room was huge, the bed was extremely comfortable. Pete & Sandi were very gracious hosts. They offered several recommendations for local sightseeing. We're already talking about coming back sometime in the Spring.

Stayed here for a short anniversary weekend. What a wonderful place! The rooms and meal were fantastic. Sandi and Pete were both very kind and welcoming. We will be going back for sure.
