Great place, great staff, very clean and beautiful, friendly place.

Great staff! We stayed in site 102, a back in site. Looks like new concrete pad and site was spacious.

Booked a studio cabin for the weekend while in town for an event. Cabin was super cute and perfect for 2 adults and a child. The queen matress could be upgraded, but a foam topper could take care of that too. Staff were friendly and pool area clean. The sitting area around the fire ring was adorable. My daughter loved having a swing at our site.

Only our second time RV’n since we purchased our camper but very impressed. Heated pool and a jacuzzi. Playground, plenty of amenities and more. Stores near by, great campground.

Gorgeous area, very clean (especially during a national pandemic), very friendly. Stayed in the cutest cabin for 4 people. Had a great time definitely will be back.

Exceptional service on checking in. Nice site. Location is easy to access. We found several nearby place to visit. On the weekend it was busy but quiet and enjoyable. We didn’t use the showers. The laundry area was well maintained, but bring quarters. There wasn’t a change machine that I could find.

Perfect location. Big rig friendly. Personal friendly.

We spent close to $30 to get a fire going. Wood was wet and no matter how much fire starter we used there was no burning this wood. I will say when I went in to make a complaint the young girls working were very apologetic and sent a couple young men over to help out. Sure enough they couldn’t get it to burn either. They did bring us over more wood and fire starters and we finally did get to enjoy a fire on our site.
Staff at registration was extremely rude when my sister in law came over to meet us to go the funtown splashtown. Wanted them to pay $25 just for them to come say they were here and ready to go. They didn’t even have a vehicle, they came over in the trolley.
When I went to checkout I’m assuming it was the same rude woman that my sister in law got because she was so very rude. I was going to tell her about the wood and how the “kids” from the night before had helped very nicely. She made me so angry by the time I left I was mad the whole 5 hour drive home. I would never stay at KOA SACO again and would not recommend it to anyone. Even though it wasn’t bad the whole time she ruined the end of my stay so much that I would never stay again.

Nice clean showers and laundry. Gorgeous camp sites throughout the park. Pool and splash pad as well as hot tub were awesome. Our pull through site is level with nice gravel. The concrete pad is super nice with a nice stone fire pit and rustic wooden chairs with a swing on the patio. Facilities close to all sites and a great K-9 Park. Super satisfied with the value here.

Great visit nice campground met our requirements and needs — sites were bigger then some KOA’s we have stayed at — lots of activities in and around park — great for families — shuttle service $1 ea way to and from the town and beach.

My husband and I came for the weekend with 7 kids ages 5-14. We rented two cabins, one basic two room cabin and a deluxe 8 person cabin. The two room was basic but covered all the needs of the kids with 2 sets of bunks and a full size bed. To our surprise there was a heater and ceiling fans in each room, kids were very happy about that. The parking was tight for our small SUV but the site was nice and covered all the basic necessities. The deluxe cabin was very nice and well kept. However, the set up in the kitchen was not fantastic with the refrigerator opening backwards and you had to stand in the bathroom to open the door to it because the kitchen table was so close you couldn't walk through once it was open. They provide basics like kitchenware, toaster, can opener and coffee maker however there was only mini coffee cups which over flowed when using the k-cups. Also there were 4 boiling pans in a variety of sizes but only one mini frying pan which made cooking pancakes for 9 of us a pain. The utensils were good but the cooking utensils were geared more for the grill with the exception of 1 plastic spoon, again making pancakes in our mini frying pan a pain with a jumbo grill spatula. The outside had a nice seating area with a swing a land a picnic table and chairs on the porch. Only problem, our outside grill was less then 5 feet from our neighbors seating area for their fire pit and then our seating area was about 10 feet from the neighbors.

Place is nice, but nothing can be kept dry in the showers. The water is wonderful and hot and stays at the temp where you put it. But the shower head is permanently angled and splashes water all over everything. Also, BOTH showers should have handicapped bars.

Family really enjoyed this KOA. Our RV site had a deck with a table and swing and nice chairs around the fire. Pool was really nice and my kids loved the playground and bike rentals. Laundry room was nice and big so we weren't stuck waiting hours when we had a laundry emergency. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. We inquired about firewood but didn't have the cash on hand and when we came home from a long beach day there the wood was. Would stay here again. Clean and convenient. Only thing preventing a 5 star rating is the slightly noisy car dealership towards the back.

Disappointed in the lack of response when we notified an employee of a moldy shower curtain multiple times. Finally got a response from another aplogetic employee. I would recommend requesting a site in the new section. Pool was warm and great for kids. There is no lifeguard.

This might be a great place for kids, but only if you can overlook dirty showers, small poorly designed sites and exorbitant prices. The showers were dirty with paint peeling off the ceiling, mold in the grout, and the water from the previous person in the floor since the drain was not in the lowest spot and I am not that particular. Our pull-through site (15) was small, not flat, with the fire pit for our neighbor 5 feet from the road, and 8 feet from our truck. Making it worse, it blocked easy exit from the site. All this for nearly $80, a full $35 more than any other stay, and we have stayed in 20 places over the last 11 weeks. Avoid this place if you can. If you can't, don't stay any longer than absolutely necessary!

We were only here for a night, but enjoyed the amenities they had. Great RV spots, the staff were so friendly. They have a great dog park too.

We spent 3 nights here for our Maine vacation and we were very pleased. My boyfriend are so used to roughing it out — no electricity/water/bathrooms etc, but this place had it all. The cabin was very cute, had heat, water and electric, a nice of the trees. I recommend this are for families, since there’s a lot of fun for kids to do, a pool, basketball court, etc. There’s something for everyone here — and the staff was very kind to us. And the location is right in the center of Saco, Portland, Old Orchard, a lot of sites to see within a half hour radius.

Very very nice. Clean, shady and spacious sites. Showers & bathroom are very good. Like new. Some are new. I am a KOA member and a fan of their campgrounds across nation.

We spent 4 days in a deluxe cabin! What a wonderful place to be! My only recommendation for the cabins, if you have kids, bring a bench for the washroom. The counter is way too high and I could only see the top of my head in the mirror. My 5 year old had to stand on the toilet to brush her teeth and wash her hands. It is unusually high.
The staff is friendly and helpful. The campground is clean. We loved the pool and splash pad. My daughter loved the art activities. We enjoyed the experience of hopping on a trolley to get to the beach. We look forward to coming back!

We stayed during an extremely hot week. No A/C in the room made it hard to get a restful night in. Would be better in cooler temps. The hot tub looked great, larger than most. Pool was packed. Loved they had a splash pad for the little ones. I wish in those kind of excessive heat days, they would've let us stay in the cool pool a bit longer. It closes at dusk. A quiet adult hour would be great.

We have come here 2 summers in a row and absolutely love it and now our daughter can enjoy camping the pool, splash pad! This campground is a wonderful kids friendly campground. The staff are extremely nice and are on top of everything! I have no complaints my little family loves it here. There is so many things to do around the campground along with things to do at the campground this week they have all kinds of cool things going on for kids and families to do for the 4th of July! I have only great things to say about this KAO!

Sardines! If you are looking for a quiet or private site you will not get it here. There are activities for the kids. Pool was small for how many people they cram into the park. No sparklers allowed at anytime!

Came first week in May 2018 after some work had been done to the campground. Have not been here before. Do not know what it looked like before this but was told by others there that much of the back of the CG was 2 or less years old. A good job was done on concrete pads, the sites, and fire pits. I Looked a bit deeper at pricing. "In-Season" pricing in my opinion is way too high. Comparing amenities at several local campgrounds and campground resorts, this campground charges more for a premium site with less to offer. The campground is nice, facilities are nice, but the campground does not have the facilities to justify the cost for us. There are better choices available as far as we are concerned. Then I saw it Sun RV resorts… it all makes sense now.

Excellent campground. Very clean and staff is amazing. Only complaint is there was a fellow camper staying across from dog park whose dogs went out of their minds everytime any dog or person got in their view. They barked, howled and lunged aggressively. This went on much of our time there. Our kids heard them at the pool. We are dog owners plus our friends had a dog with them so thats not an issue, however for the owner to not have the common sense to see how stressed these dogs were and arrange something else for them sadly leaves it up to the Koa to enforce the dog rules so other campers can relax. One man walking his small dog went through another campsite to avoid going near their camper. We will definately be back but will request a different area. Beautiful campground and love the new sites!
