This place is disgusting. Don’t waste your money. We checked in and the bathroom had feces all over it. Hair in the tub and floor along with on the pillows. No one wearing masks and no sanitizer or masks available even though the sign says they do. Found a needle in the hall way. People smoking right by the door and the homeless is asking for money as you check in. This place is not safe. Stay away!

The price is great compared to places in NH and Mass and just up road too Saco area Gabella’s and some great stores and food!

This hotel is definitely an amazing place, the staff is super attentive and nice. We came in a large group with kids including a newborn, and when I asked for ice 3 different staff members jumped out to help me and point where the ice machine was. I'm extremely happy with the attention, cleanliness, and comfort of this hotel, really an amazing place. Also the breakfast was delicious, including waffles, sausages, and eggs. Totally recommend this place.

Too bad I have to give this place at least 1 star because it is so undeserving of even the lowest rating possible! Overflowing trash, rooms smell like very bad body odor, animal feces all over the grounds area due to negligent owners. Awnings covered with mold, smoking areas right next to the doors so it blows back into the hotel. Rooms have not been kept up very well over the years and it shows. Incompetent desk help, had to try 4 keys before we got the correctly coded cards for the room. Was double charged for every day of our stay. Very disappointed in the room and hotel. Needless to say we will never be back there again. Spend a bit more time and drive down the road to a Hampton Inn for the same price and much better accomodations.

The room was musty smelling when we got there. It improved once we turned on the air but the bathroom smelled really bad although it looked clean. We needed a fold away bed but the room was so tight that we had a difficult time finding a place it would fit. Overall, we had a safe, quiet, clean looking place to spend the night. Good last minute one night stay.

We stayed in a king room here. We went out to the pool and when we came back we were locked out of our room. We were given a new room, but it took hours for them to get our stuff back to us from the old room. Our dinner was locked in there, along with our wallets. We asked if they had any food they could offer and they refused. They only took off $20 after all of this. When we talked to other guests they seemed to be having issues as well. Would not stay again.

No issues with the hotel. I am very picky with hotels and being clean so I was pretty worried staying here but I was surprised. The room was clean enough for a beach trip. Staff was helpful and nice. The free breakfast was actually good. The only annoying thing was the location of the hotel. It was in its own exit off of one side of the highway so it was slightly difficult to get to and caused us to hit multiple tolls each way. I DO NOT blame the hotel for that though because that is not in anyone's control. Overall, very nice and I would stay back here on busy weekends in Old Orchard.

Checkin was speedy, rooms were on par. Beds were very comfortable and everyone in my group slept very well. Continental breakfast was nothing spectacular but compared to the places we stayed the night before this breakfast was fit for a king, so the review for this area is clearly biased. All in all though the stay was comfortable and easy. Would recommend for a quick recharge if you are moving through.

They took care of a clerical issue of a two night booking for a one night stay. We got to convert the unused day to a stay during the off season because they couldn't refund us. It's still not amazing but it is going to save their business a scathing review and I will be returning more than just that once.

This place is great. Delicious breakfasts, clean rooms, and the best mattress my husband and I have ever slept on. We were very happy with our stay there and would highly recommend this place.

It's meh, nothing exciting, breakfast is the same everyday. It's clean and the staff is friendly. The internet is awful.

Hotel suitable for the price. Comfortable bed and general cleanliness is satisfactory. On the other hand, the bathroom fan was not working very well.

I stayed for the work week and the best interactions I had we're with the housekeeping staff. Front desk staff was not very welcoming or accomodating. Room was just ok. It was clean enough but noisy, no fault to the hotel just noisy neighbors. Breakfast was bad, not a ton of choices.

The hotel is very nice. It has it's own exit right off the highway. Very nice rooms, parking, complimentary breakfast and staff. I do wish the beds we're a little firmer and that the room came with a refrigerator. But I would gladly stay there again.

Yes, this hotel shows its age, but the Linens were clean, the room was very clean, the front desk lady was super helpful, and breakfast in the morning was phenomenal… Sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal and the rest of the stuff. It's a great place for long-haul drivers with large vehicles.

I arrived at this location and checked in then went to my room only to turn around and walk out after seeing the state of my room. Although for the most part clean it’s in need of major updating. Everything was very outdated. The curtains, couch, walls and carpeting were stained. The couch was very outdated and very uncomfortable. The bathroom is in need of updating and the microwave and fridge needed replacing also. I guess if you are just staying the night or in a emergency situation it would do well enough but I definitely don’t recommend staying here long term. I’m staying at the Hampton Inn instead right now and while it’s more money, in this case it’s very well worth it. I’ve stayed at other Ramada’s that were very nice but this one is just sad and makes the other Ramada Inns look bad. Finally the way they have the parking lot and entrances are just confusing and crazy. Gated off so you can’t pull up to the front door. I really hope in the future this Ramada has a major overhaul because it needs it big time.

No surprises when I stayed here. The room was clean and comfortable. What I expect to find wherever I go. Had I been pleasantly surprised by the property or service they would have scored higher. Disappointment would have resulted in a subpar score.

This is the honest to god truth! I am a local resident who needed a hotel while I had maintenance issues. I prefer to use cash with all the credit card fraud these days. I stayed Sunday and Monday nigh. I tried to pay for 3 more nights with cash. There management Jen called the cops on me. I swear I am a peaceful individual! All I wanted was 3 nights at their hotel for me and my puppy Ellie. She called the cops on me. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Check my Facebook page for the story nycole nadeau. We had a good stay here. Room was pretty clean. Rate was cheap and with free breakfast, it was a good deal. If you get there without exiting the tollway, you'll think that the place is closed. They have another entrance after exiting the tollway.

Its a pet friendly hotel. I was worried my dog would be to big, he's a husky, Shepard mix. No problems. Rooms were clean. No pet smells.

Nothing to write home about. But perfectly fine for the price. The room was clean. And linen acceptable.

We have stayed here many times over the past 15 years. The place needs to be updated with new carpets and windows. The luggage carts also need to be replaced. Decent breakfast.

Nice hotel but the parking lot is separated from the main entrance by two gates. They won’t open those gates for regular cars or guests, just busses. These gates really need to be removed as the main entrance side can only be accessed by the freeway. The main parking lot can only be accessed by the exiting the free way onto a side highway.

Rooms were fairly clean. I noticed a few places that were dusty and could have been cleaned a little more, but other than that the beds are very comfortable, the breakfast has many great options and the staff is very friendly! Would stay here again.

Quick drive to the beach. Clean rooms comfy beds. Continental breakfast was good as well. Parking lot is a bit odd as if you are not coming off the highway you cannot park near the front entrance.

The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of options. The outdoor pool was neither large nor tiny, and wasn't crowded. The noise from the nearby highway was noticeable but not loud. There was nothing wrong with this Ramada, but nothing special.

Rooms are Grande's. The sofa bed is not very comfortable, and The breakfast is not very good. But data nice inside.

The parking lot is weird. If you don't enter from Northbound 95, you can't drive right up to the entryway. There is a walkway that brings you right to it, though. The beds were comfortable but the fan in the bathroom that turns on with the light was loud and obnoxious. Also, the only curtains are sheer so bring a sleep mask or plan on waking up with the sun. The main thing that brought this rating up to 4 stars is the free breakfast. They had quite a spread! They had 3 kinds of juice, 3 kinds of eggs, 2 kinds of sausage, corned beef hash, waffle irons, bananas, bagels, muffins, bread, cereal, milk, and plenty of coffee. Whoever was working in the breakfast area did a great job keeping it clean and well stocked. There's a tip jar and they work hard to earn it, so bring some cash down with you to reward them for their efforts.

The Entrance to the front door was very Confusing as driving you had to go around the back through what appeared to be the service entrance. Our Bathroom was very dirty. Something around the base of the toilet and long black hair all over the bathroom. The hot water was not barely hot at all. Also you couldn't close the drapes so the outdoor light kept room 316 pretty lit up. Otherwise the beds were Amazing and the Breakfast was Delicious. The Staff is very Pleasant as well.

The staff was very friendly. The room my family had didn't have a fridge or microwave. Plus a door connected from one room to another. Kinda strange.

The Ramada Saco/Old Orchard was quite possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The first room we were assigned to smelt horribly of B/O. Okay, no problem. We thought it was likely just the guests prior to us who had created such an awful smell. After asking to be changed to a different room we found the same horrible B/O smell. In addition to the same smell being in the second room, my fiancée and I were greeted by a dirty pair of socks on the windowsill when we moved the curtains. I guess the cleaning crew couldn't be bothered to move the curtains when cleaning. Makes you wonder what else was neglected while cleaning. Hmmm. I would not recommend this hotel. And I will not be returning.

Very clean, basic hotel. Services were good, and also the breakfast.

Sadly, I cannot recommend this hotel. When we first arrived we were given a room on the first floor — the room not only had a suffocating aroma of BO but the bathroom floor was also wet. We went to the front desk and they were accommodating enough to give us a new room on the front floor, but were not very polite about it. I actually saw the woman at the front desk roll her eyes at us. The room on the third floor was better, but not by much. There was still a distinct foul odor and many of the furniture pieces were well worn to the point of looking dirty. The breakfast in the morning was okay. The glasses for juice held about 3 fluid ounces and they had employees standing guard watching your every move. Literally, there were 3 employees just standing over and watching things. I couldn't recommend this place to anyone.

It is easily accessibke, clean, and spacious.

The hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable. Could have had a mini fridge or a microwave, but other than that I am very much satisfied.

Horrible, horrible experience. I came here for my UNE medical school interview, and this place was so bad I had to leave immediately upon arrival with no refund. First, it took forever for the guy at the front desk to show up and check me in, and he smelled of smoke when he finally came. Next, when I walked into my room, there was a foul smell — it smelled like bad body odor! Then I saw bed bugs on the sheets and stink bugs on the mirror. The staff was rude and unapologetic. What a joke this hotel is. Save your money and look elsewhere. Will not be returning to any ramada hotel ever.

Everything was fine. Breakfast was good. Hotel was pretty standard. Clean and comfortable.

Was a great place to stay. In town for a family wedding, and have to thank Rachel Wright, who greeted me at the door when I came back. Could not have been more professional and polite. Constant dogs barking for hours. Called front desk, simply told hotel is pet friendly. Great if you are vacationing with a dog. Awful if you are here for business.

Upon arrival we were able to check in 3 hours early. The breakfast was standard. The room was clean. We paid about $113 with tax through the Travelocity secret hotel.

I stupidly incorrectly booked with a third party site. I arrived late, around 11:30pm. The front desk attendant, Ben, was extremely nice, attentive, and helpful in assisting me in getting my reservations changed, and explained to them when they called to verify information that the change was able to be made and he can take care of it. Because of our little mis-booking, the room we booked wasn't available. Ben was able to upgrade us to a better room! The room was a suite, was very clean and spacious, had a refrigerator, microwave, and 2 TVs, one of which was an HDTV with HDMI capability (which I love in hotels) Other people have left poor reviews, but my time here was very well worth it.

Ramada calls this hotel the Saco Old Orchard Beach Area. It is 5 miles from the old Orchard Beach area. The only thing it is close to is an interstate highway. The hotel staff even tried to blame Travelocity for the misleading location description even though it is the name on the Ramada web site.

2 person bedroom did not have microwave or fridge. Ice machines slow. No hbo. I travel alot for work and these three help a man keep sanity while out for months at a time.

A co-worker and I stayed at this hotel for a few days and we were very glad that we chose this hotel. The rooms were clean and the two queen mattresses were a fairly comfortable pillow top with four pillows. Two soft and two firm. TV was not a flat screen, but it was a CRT and I believe it was a 25'. Had quite a bit of channels too including HBO. Included in the room were an iron and iron board, hair dryer and coffee maker. Wi-Fi and wired connections are available at no charge. The shower was great, but it appeared that in my room, the shower diverter was incorrectly installed. Cold meant hot and hot meant cold. Just gave me a quick shock when I put it on hot and got ice cold water! Really not that big of a deal though. Towels were good too. Unlike some other hotels, they were not thin / worn out and were fairly soft. The free breakfast was also nice too. Four different kinds of cereal, milk, orange and cranberry juice, Yoplait yogurt, muffins, bagels, bread, eggs and sausage from for the bagels etc. They also have a washer and dryer on site so that you can wash your clothes. I didn't see the price, but I can't see it being expensive. And yes, they have a pool, but it was closed for the time we were there. Overall, a nice, comfortable hotel. I would recommend this hotel and if I'm in that area again, I'll be sure to stay there again.
