Reviews of Executive Motel
Booked a balcony room and upon arrival learned there is only one room on the property with a balconey and we didnt have it. One parking spot per room, which is listed on the website. Four of us (women in our thirties) were staying in the room so one went up ahead of time to get the room ready (it was a girls getaway for our friends birthday nothing crazy). The remaining three of us were dropped off by one of our husbands who parked in the empty spot in front of our room and helped us carry in our luggage. No sooner did we step foot in the room, the manager had her head in our room saying (rudely) "you are over the number of guests and only one car per room" when we explained we were just being dropped off she very rudely said "I'm just going to say this right now we do not allow parties, this is a quiet resort, we have zero tolerance for partiers". There were much nicer ways to handle this and we didn't make a peep the whole night. AC was not able to cool the room no matter how low we turned it, and website advertises a heated outdoor pool, which if its heated its not very warm. Housekeeping was subpar at best and there was a hole punched in our bathroom door. I understand wanting to prevent parties in your resort given the location but there are ways to relay the message without being extremely rude to your paying guests. Also there were other rooms up well past midnight making a lot of noise outdoors so I guess they don't enforce the rule.
Not really happy about this place. Location is good. 2 minutes walk to the beach. The pool is nice. Thats about it. They overcharged us at the desk even though on booking. Com it said it was a price with taxes included. The desk lady didnt want to hear anything. The AC isnt strong enough to make the whole room cold. The train track is next to the motel and the whole room shakes when it passes. The Wi-Fi is either poor or not working in the room. For a night its ok but for a week it sucks. The water in the shower doesn't go away until minutes after you're done Go somewhere else.
