This beautiful hotel, is everything it claims to be. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. We had a deluxe king room it was spotless, large and very comfortable. The pool and the hotel grounds are very well maintained and beautiful. The views of the bay are breath taking morning and night. I highly recommend this anyone traveling to Maine. I would stay there again any time.

Good rooms, comfortable bed, great view.

So very pleasantly surprised at how lovely this Inn was for such a reasonable price. Beautiful waterviews, quiet and peaceful unit with very well done finishes and furnishings. Had a good sized balcony that is wonderfully private and takes full advantage of the view. Grounds are lovely with expansive lawn and seating right down at the bay. The only negatives were the lack of an in room coffee maker and no breakfast service. One other thing we found a bit of a turn off was that the frig was located in the bathroom.

Wonderful overnight… the room was lovely, clean and so comfortable. Early season rates are amazing and the little extra touches of offer a view of the room before checking in and the binoculars were just the nice extra that you can appreciate. I hope to get back there again soon for another stay!

Very lovely, well — maintained place. Our room was beautifully decorated and clean. The grounds had an incredible view of the bay. The pool was nicely heated and very clean. Very quiet environment. Location was close to Camden which had great shopping and dining. Also, close to downtown Rockport which also was fun to visit. I'd love to go back.

Very clean rooms, much apriciated. Views from the balcony in the morning was amazing. Keep in mind if you want diner after 9, all the restaurants are shut in town. Keep this in mind if you're arriving at night.

Pleasant, tranquil accommodations ensure a feeling of luxury and serenity. Great views, kind people, excellent rooms, great privacy and porches. We return annually and it's a highlight of our summer. The staff is gracious and makes you welcome and you feel valued at every step. Cannot rave enough about the Inn. Pricey in high season, but an excellent value for the money. We hate to leave.

Great place. Kind staff, excellent rooms and views, and very clean. The rooms are very spacious and there is a fridge, desk, sun room, and garden tub in each room. The pictures show an open air deck on each room, but they have been converted to sun rooms. That was disappointing, but everything else has been stellar. There is also a heated infinity pool.

We were very pleased with the house that we stayed at. It was beautiful and the view was amazing. The only down part was the front desk staff did not seem to have all the correct information they need to answer simple question like, What time is the pool open until? One night the front desk clerk said at least 10pm and the following night we were being bullied by the man who closes up the pool and told us a different time. The other big problem was me and my husband and daughters came home after swimming in the pool and have severe ear infections. The three days that we were there we swam and the pool was not cleaned. There were alot of leaves and chlorine and or chemicals in the pool. We all have ear aches so severe that the different doctors said that the bacteria level has to be very high for this sort of infection.

My husband and I stayed at Island View for our vacation to Maine this year. This place was everything I hoped for — quiet, clean, beautiful grounds and view. Lovely heated infinity pool. We will definitely be back. We only stayed three nights and traveled to other places in Maine, but next time we will spend our entire vacation here.
