Very rude front desk worker. Was not helpful at all. I didn't even stay here because he was so rude. Don't waste your time stopping here. Go to sleepy hollow. It's just down the road & the staff there was amazing. Trust me!

Room was overwhelming musty smelling. When we arrived we rang the bell and waited for 5 minutes outside until they opened the door. Gentleman there was very rude to us when we arrived as well as when we left. The office was still closed at 11am when we checked out. I don't ever plan on going back and I would ask anyone to please look elsewhere.

The female Owner very hospitable. Works very hard! Very accomodating. Spent weeks here and she was amazing! If u need coffee maker n microwave, or iron board just ask.

Room was comfortable but smelked like smoke even though it was non smoking. Staff wasn't very friendly and very expensive for what they had to offer. We had to go here only because of an emergency. Would not recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Good place. The cleanliness has definitely increased within the last 3 weeks. I don't know what you've done but keep it up! Amazing housekeeper!

You get what you pay for. We went in the room and pulled back the sheets and the hair from the people who stayed before us were throughout the sheets. Disgusting. The heat is from the AC unit in the bathroom. No smoking in the rooms, but there's an ashtray outside of every door so everything stinks. The only person who works in the office left as soon as we checked in and they didn't answer our phone calls.

Welcomed me in late at night for check in and extended my stay without any issues. Clean room and was cheapest room in the area. Would go back for sure.

Room wasn’t ready at 6pm-no one in office for 20 min. We got a horrible room with no amenities two young male kids working. Finishing vacuuming and putting sheets on our bed while we waited. No table no hair dryer a light was broken/missing. Burn holes in the bed linens. Smelled horribly of smoke even though a smoke free facility. Eventually switched to another room way better. Older female was there this time. Next day our card stopped working in the new room we were locked out. Went to office no one there. One of the young male kids showed up after 10 min. Took three times to get our key to work. While fixing key male answered phone to assumed boss and could be heard saying he was supposed to be there at 11 am and it was close to noon. No one available at check out. Had to drop key in a box and hope we weren’t charged for smoke and burn holes in first room that was already there. Would not stay here again. It was cheap and that is why we went there because we would be doing stuff in town a lot and only sleeping there. Should have been cheaper for the service received. Thankful they switched us to a better more equipped room for no charge. But should have never had to deal with that to begin with. One star for that alone.

Nice hotel, nothing fancy, but it served our purposes for what we needed. The only complaint was we reserved a room with a queen bed and were downgraded to a double simply because the rooms with queen beds hadn't been cleaned yet. We were there 30 minutes after check-in time.

Rooms were clean. Thin walls and ceiling made for a noisy night but that was due to other inconsiderate guests.

Lousy customer service. Very rude staff times two and manager was the worst. Tried to overcharge as well.

This is a decent hotel. It was clean and comfortable, but nothing fancy. We mostly stayed there for the location to family on the beach.

Very basic but clean. Desk closes at night, don't wait past 10 or so. Towels were very minimal, but to be expected with this type of hotel. Location convenient for Biddeford area, we were meeting family at Goose Rocks beach.

Decent rooms, friendly staff, not very exciting surroundings.

My wife and I have been staying at the Biddeford Chain, for over 2 years now on a monthly basis and have had nothing but good experiences each stay. My son, grandchildren, and other family members have also stayed there. After reading the not so good reviews, We decided to have a chat with the new owner Peru, (Sister of the former owner), before posting OUR 2nd review. Peru, is very understanding and easy to communicate with. We expressed our MINOR concerns, and she answered them THOROUGHLY. She gave us a tour of the newly remodeled rooms, which are very impressive. She explained that once ALL the rooms are completed, (Possibly before May), there will be NO more smoking rooms. This makes perfect sense due to the new paint, cabinets, ETC,. (My wife and I are SMOKERS). Peru, is investing a great deal of TIME, EFFORT, and EXPENSES, to ensure that the guests are satisfied with their stay at the Inn. If anyone has a complaint, we would recommend, speaking with Peru, before you start typing. And we would recommend this Inn to EVERYONE! Wally and Theresa Haycock.

Very friendly and helpful in my situation.

I could not believe the laziness and rudeness of the owners/managers of this hotel. The room only had 2 bath towels. We requested another and were put off. The manner in which we were spoken to was horrible. We were treated as a nuisance instead of valued customers. One day the woman said she was eating dinner so she couldn’t get it for us. Another day she was too cold to go outside to get the towel. We were told that we could only get more towels from the maid. But in 7 days of staying there, we NEVER saw the maid! We left a note for the maid, but it was only acknowledged some days. It shouldn’t have been such a hassle to get an extra towel – which wouldn’t have been considered extra in most hotels! We also weren't provided with a Do Not Disturb sign despite being encouraged to put one out to not have the room made up each day. We asked for one, but again were addressed very rudely and told that they didn't know where they were. In addition, the supposedly non-smoking room was surrounded by smoking rooms and therefore smelled nauseatingly like smoke the entire stay. The mattress was horrible and there was only one night stand, so I had to use my cooler as a nightstand. The Wi-Fi was a joke. We were only able to connect intermittently. There was no fitness center as purported. The only good thing about the hotel was that the room was fairly clean. The chairs outside (on the shared balcony, not private) were filthy!

I was in room 105 a few days ago. The place was very clean, the staff were friendly. It would be much better if there were a coffee pot in the room, and the Wi-Fi was unusable due to it being so very slow. I was happy with the room and the location, but not having access to usable Wifi was a real disappointment.

Best place ive ever stayed. Needed a place last minute. Prices were great employees were very nice. They treated my children great free Wi-Fi couldnt have asked for a better place to stay (very clean)

The housekeeping staff was absolutely perfect, accommodated our stay with comforts we didn't even ask for. This is why we support local owned business, 5 stars, passionate people with phenomenal service. Thank you again:)

Clean, neat, comfortable and well priced.

No problems, seemed very clean and kids wanted internet so that was a plus for them.

A dump of a hotel with a manager who argued with me the minute I walked through the door. Beware this is not a priceline friendly hotel, was charged extra for my kids and the experience was so bad I asked for a refund from priceline. The manager agreed to the refund but charged $25 for housekeeping despite the fact we were in the room for 20 minutes while I talked to priceline. Went an hour down the road and spent two days in a fantastic hotel that ended up being cheaper. Don't expect this hotel to stay in business for long with this type of service. Awful all the way around.

I made reservations over 4 months ago. Unfortunately I did not do it online (I would have printed out my "proof") I was assured that it was ok to make the reservation via phone. I was quoted a price of $61.00 for the night of 9-5. After reading these reviews, I decided to check on the price again. Aha, now it has gone up to $88.00. Manager said it is because it is Labor Day week end. Hello, that is why I made the reservations so long ago. NO ONE told me that it would be more for that day. Beware.
