My stay here was wonderful, nice and quiet, and pleasent. Loretta one of the front staff members was very polite and wonderful during my visit. The room was very clean. Definitely will be revisiting. They even have coffee or hot chocolate😁

Was very pleased with this older motel. Very clean and well maintained. Complimentary water in the fridge was a nice touch and the layout of the rooms was perfect for our 4 person family. The beds were comfortable and the front desk staff was very friendly. Overall it was the perfect price point and quality for our budget.

Being on a two week vacation in Maine I looked for a moderately price motel and I could not have made a better choice! My room and bed were comfortable and the room was spotless and kept that way. The owner and management were genuinely interested in making my stay as comfortable as possible and they contributed to a great vacation. The location is a great base for exploring the coast. Acadia is about 90 mins north and Boothbay Harbor is about 90 mins south. And last but not least the website is 100% true.

Because I was planning to spend my two week vacation in Maine I was looking for a moderately priced motel and I could not have made a better choice! Most importantly the website is 100% true. The room and the bed were very comfortable and spotless and kept that way. The location is a great jumping off place for exploring the coast — about 90 mins from Acadia to the north and about 90 mins to Boothbay Harbor in the south. And I have never met an owner/management that is as genuinely concerned about making our stays comfortable as I met at this motel. They really contributed to my having a great vacation. A great value for our money!

This is the first time I ever stayed at the Gull Motel. It was wonderful. No Frills, classic motel, great price and very, very clean. We have a baby, and the bathroom was so clean I didn't even need to rinse the tub out before giving her a bath. I am very picky with regards to cleanliness, especially at a place I've never stayed before. This place was spotless. Plenty of room for a pack and play, family-friendly, restaurants and sights within a 5 minute drive. This motel met all of our expectations and more.

I have been to the Gull Motel one other time and I was satisfied on my last visit. The price was fair and the amenities were solid. This time I returned and I noticed that all new windows had been put into place and a number of other updates and renovations had been done. It was a solid price once again, very comfortable and very very clean. To be honest, with the Gull Motel, I wasn't expecting much for the price, but on both occassions I was very pleasantly surprised with how clean the rooms were and how nice of a stay it was.

Owners pleasant. Room clean. Bathroom small. Everything is old. Lot of road noise. Poor Wi-Fi.

Service was not so good when we arrived. No one was there. Took awhile to find someone to talk to. Had other family staying there, so they were able to alert them before we arrived, and keep a room held for us. Other than that, it was in a good location, views of ocean, and pet friendly. Out of town a little bit. + or — 2 miles.

The Gull is a friendly motel located on Route 1 just outside of Belfast town. The room I stayed in was nice and clean. A Maid came in every morning to tidy up my room whilst I was out. Peter the owner was very helpful, made sure I was happy during my stay and always had a freshly brewed coffee available in the office for me whenever I wanted one (yes it is free). My room also had Cable television and FREE wireless broadband which made a pleasent change from the hotels that want to charge you a arm and a leg for this service :) The cost of the room was very good for what I got, the bed was clean an comfy and I will certainly be using this motel again the next time I am in the area.
