We booked cabin Very clean and comfy. So quiet we could hear the waves hitting the beach. Nice little walk to beach, shopping and food. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend bringing camping chairs with, no chairs in the cabin. Would definitely rent again.

Just spent a weekend in Cabin and completely enjoyed ourselves. The room was large and inviting. Parking was easy and everything was clean. Arriving was super convenient with keyless entry. We will definitely nmake arrangements for another stay.

Very rude concierge service and booking agent. Hung up the phone and I asked her information about different rooms and their locations. She should be fired from her job. No one has to be rude we're all going through enough. God bless us all❤️🙏🇺🇸

Beautiful hotel and friendly staff.

We made reservations for the restaurant and comedy club. We traveled half an hour to get there and when we got there the restaurant was empty and the waitress said the comedy club was cancelled. I ordered a wine and was charged $10. We left no tip and left the restaurant.

Room air conditioning was not working. Requested three times to be repaired or moved. Staff assured it would be taken care of. NOONE EVER ADDRESSED THE ISSUE!
This is NOT a luxury hotel and certainly not worth the prices. Will never return to this hotel.

Our visit was spur-of-the-moment, and we (me, husband and daughter) were lucky enough to get one of the small cabins for the night. After we saw it, we immediately booked it for the next night too. The cabin was so cute, and it was very clean. Close to everything. I would highly recommend The Westport Inn to anyone!

Customer service 5 star, facility 2 star, mostly from lack of sound proofing. Old facility that was built on the cheap. Beds comfortable, plumbing is about done. Functional stay, and have stayed there before and may again. Not bad, not great, middle of the road in a place with not a lot of options.

Stayed in a cabin. Very clean & able to sleep many. Fridge, microwave, & TV included. Right next to the port, 1 block from most charter fishing.

Way to much money for what you get. A microwave that you have to get on your knees to use. Electrical sockets that are worn out, and not enough of them. Stayed on ground floor, noise from above until two am. Second day, I asked for maid service, bed was left unmade, towels not replenished, etc. Would not stay here again. All this for 97 dollars a night.

Rooms are average. Drop Ceiling over the Showers. Definitely a strange set up there. No Bed Bugs I could find so that's always good. Pretty normal, no frills place, but seems trustworthy and not a total dump.

The cottages are clean and look newly renovated. They have everything you'd need for a stay and come with dishes and everything for your stay. Very comfortable for two people. The staff are also very friendly and the location is within walking distance of a few fish and chip restaurants. Most importantly you can roll out of bed and walk across the street to get donuts at little Richard's.

Good solid old fashioned motel. Clean digs and comfortable bed. Nothing upscale yet good for a few days of relaxation. Get the 3rd floor ocean view room for a few dollars more. No elevators so not good for the physically challenged. Excellent office staff and very friendly maids and grounds keepers.

We stayed at the Westport Inn because it was “ pet friendly”. As it turned out they were not only unfriendly to pets they were unfriendly to guests as well. When we arrived for check in they told us it would be another two hours to check in. Ok. When we came back two hours later they said it would be another hour, it was then 4 o’clock in the afternoon. When they finally gave us our room and we went in and started to unpack we realized that the room smelled like a “toilet“. Not from pet waste. The staff was very apologetic and After 2 more hours of waiting they gave us another room. It was then that we realized that the room did not have a refrigerator. The staff informed us that they charge $25 for refrigerator. As a peace offering they gave us the refrigerator, shortly, no charge. It took 24 hours for them to deliver the refrigerator. They could’ve kept the refrigerator since it did not work, and when I asked to have it removed even though we were told that they would take it away in a little while, it was still there three days later when we checked out. I could go on about the fact that the air conditioning vents with thick with dust and there were never enough clean towels in the room. Furthermore, there was no specific area for walking pets.

Worst hotel experience yet, we stayed here for nearly $200 and the room had bugs on the floor and in our bed. The bed was so old I had a spring in my back all night, pealing wall paper, very poor water pressure, no refrigerator, no microwave, the TV was all snowy on every channel. Red roof in does it better and only charges 80 dollars. Wow step it up not impressed at all.

Rooms were clean. Nice place to lay your head down.

We didnt actually stay at the Inn, but we visited the Comedy Club downstairs! We had a fantastic time! Food was great and the comedians were really funny!

Always a great stay here weather it's I the rv park or hotel the staff go above and beyond to make your stay great. They have accommodated us many times with numerous needs and it's much appreciated. They have definitely earned our whole families business and we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else.

The place is nothing fancy. But is about the nicest place in town to stay. Convenient place to stay for charter fishing trip. Just short walk away from the docks. The place was clean but the bed I had could've used a mattress upgrade. TV and internet were decent enough for the short stay.

Thought it a charming place with large comfortable rooms. I imagine parking might be tight when the Inn has a full occupancy but there is an underground garage. And parking is free.

Although I’ve never spent an evening here, I’ve been at the pool for swim lessons and have attended gatherings in one of the meeting rooms. The interior hallways and surrounding seemed well maintained and fairly “crisp”. However, the pool left me wanting a shower… and I wasn’t the one in the pool. I think the pool area, bathrooms and general area could use some updating, cleaning and overall attention.

Very cozy, very clean. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The front desk lady, Sharon, is a real character! It was really busy when we were checking in, but she kept everybody laughing with her jokes. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in a first floor room, nice and clean. Nothing fancy. Wi-Fi is almost usable for basic stuff but lots of time outs and disconnects. Staff is friendly. Near everything, good location.

Our go-to place to stay when we visit Westport. Rooms are clean and comfortable, third floor suites offer ocean views from the front windows, plus an outdoor deck. Friendly staff.

Older place but great staff and very clean. Very comfortable bed and pillows. And dog friendly. Little frig and microwave in rooms.

I enjoyed the ambience and even though it rained off and on the whole time I enjoyed staying in the cabin. Very relaxing environment and when I had an issue with my room the staff were more than happy to help me get it fixed.

This place is the bomb. Definitely recommend getting one of the cottages. There was an issue with my booking at first, and they were proactive in making it better and offered a certificate for a future visit. But, it turned out to work just how I wanted so all was well. Great location, all the amenities plus some. Great place to get away.

Love this place. Love the little cabins and the rooms are really great. Great location too, right downtown close to the marina. No beach access but it's right down the road with a park pass.

It's a little spendy for winter rates but it was good.

This is a very quaint place, very clean and friendly staff. Definitely an older building but kept in good condition. The pictures are of a 3rd floor King Suite.

Avoid at all costs. It's an overpriced motel with very, very limited services. The TV's didn't work and when asked about that they took 5 hours to get back to use to tell us they would be fixed on monday, we were checking out on sunday. We were with a family group with a bunch of kids who were all looking forward to spending the afternoon in the pool, however someone the night before did something to the pool and instead of addressing the issue immediately waited until we were all ready to use it to put in the chemicals, and kept giving different stories. They don't provide breakfast and the 3rd party that does their restaurant closes most of the day, so if you're hungry or thirsty, tough! Staff was definitely not nice, they were arrogant and unpleasant.
Definitely find somewhere else to stay.

This is a quaint place. It is not updated (the hotel). I don't recommend the first floor because it is very loud with people walking in the unit above. Hot water isn't really hot, but the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. Rates are affordable and pets are welcome. The cabins are great for bigger groups.

Great place… The people were great, the food was Devine, the bar and Comedy Club were even better. Would definitely recommend this to everyone.

We always enjoy our stay here. It appears it will be our last time as they are doing away with the rv park portion of the place to make room for more cabins and a pool.

Staff was willing to leave the door unlock after office hour to our room. Great customer service. Room is decent size. The room however had a funny smell to it. You're close to ocean view, restaurants, giant parking lot, and most importantly all the charter services/

The Westport Inn isa lovely place to stay. It isn't new or fancy, but the beds are super comfortable, the rooms a really clean, the staff is friendly and the views are incredible. There is a deck on the roof with places sit and watch beautiful sunset over the Pacific, not to mention from the second story room I was in. It's a charming place and I will definitely return.

We stayed in one of the cottages there and it was super cute, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. We prefer those to the hotel rooms.

The Westport inn is very good quite old fashioned but not at all bad in anyway my only complaint is I found a wiskey bottle under my bed.

Great place to stay if ur in town for fishing. Front reception is always friendly and cheerful. Rooms and cabins are always clean.

Amazing Inn Right on the waterfront basically. Highly recommended. Ask for room 301. Has private deck. We are very happy with our stay here.

Not luxury, but a Solid motel close to the floats. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Office closes at night and re-opens at 8am — In room coffee maker, microwave and small refrigerator. Check-in was fast and friendly.

There wasn't really any one thing that went wrong here, but a lot of small things did. The only thing that I felt was really good was the staff at check-in. They did seem to genuinely care, and mostly had it together. This is kind of one of those situations where just listing everything is probably best. So, here goes: The room was incredibly hot. There is no air conditioning, which is to be expected here, but there were also no windows. So, the only option was to leave the front door open to everyone walking by and the smell of smokers outside their rooms. It was unusually warm for Westport (probably about 75°), but it made for a very unpleasant stay. The walls are very thin. Our neighbors were very, very loud, and even when they weren't being very loud it was loud. You could hear their breathing through the walls. The place is just generally run down. I have a feeling this may be a bit less true in the cabins (we were in the hotel), but it was definitely true in our room. It was basically clean, but it's not very well-maintained, so there are big stains on the (unnecessary) area rug, the shower is dingy, and the beds are pretty terrible. The price was a bit high for a low-priced coast town, but they were full so I guess I can't really question that. Overall, it wasn't that I felt dirty staying here, or unsafe or anything, but it just wasn't worth the price paid. You're paying for staying right in Westport (it does have a good location, though no real view or anything).

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT DEAD! The morning after a late-night check in. My family and I were walking the grounds and peaking into the locked Rec. Room. A staff member rushed out to open the door for us with a genuine smile. Hours after leaving the hotel, and reaching the other side of the state, I realized I had left my grandmother's necklace in the room I stayed in for the weekend. The necklace was returned to me in the mail the next week. ** I do not recommend leaving anything in your room that you want to keep. ** Thank you Westport Inn, I will be back next summer!

We stayed in a cabin using a groupon and it was such a delight! Its so close to the beach and town. We had a parking spot on the side of our cabin and had a blast exploring the coast line. Westport is a small town with not too much going on which is exactly what we were wanting for a relaxing vacation. The front desk was sweet and the cabin was clean and adorable. Thank you for a great experience, I would urge others to spend a little more to be in a cabin, it's worth it!

I give the Inn only 1 star because of its location, which is fantastic! Nice and close to the beach and marina, with its stores and restaurants. However, the room we had (room 305) was awful. Run down interior, broken fixtures, and a bad bed. The bedroom blinds did not close; the front door knob falls off in your hand when you open the door; the dead bolt only works from the inside (the key doesn't work from the outside on it) ; there was minimal hot water in the tub or the sink even after letting the water run for many minutes trying to let it get warm, we never did have to turn the cold on; the bed was layered with a huge memory foam layer that hung over the edges of the bed by a foot on each side, and then topped on top of that with a down mattress topper that was smaller than the bed, so you "fell off" of it when lying in the bed; there was no fan in the bathroom, so the room was always 'stuffy'; the TV remotes don't work properly and it took using the bedroom TV remote and the living room TV remote to have 1 functional remote; the living room furniture is run down and lumpy; there were no hangers in the closet, no nightstand on one side of the bed; no dresser in the bedroom; no safe to keep small valuables. Basically, don't bother unpacking as there is no place to put your stuff! The Wi-Fi worked sometimes, but enough to get by on for us. Could be better, but didn't give us as bad of a time as other reviewers had.

We blocked a set of rooms here for our wedding. The guests were happy, the bar after our wedding in the restaurant was a great success, and the morning after brunch was a perfect set up. This is a great place if your wedding venue is close, like at the Inn at Longshore. The prices are very reasonable, especially given what's available in the immediate area. I really felt like my wedding guests were able to stay at a really nice place without spending too much on a hotel room.

Stayed with a Groupon. When we arrived no one was there and there was a sign telling us who to call. That person did not answer. Apparently check in has to be before 9 but the e mail did not specify that. We kept calling until skmekne answered twenty minutes later. Rude. The jacuzzi tub was very small and the water tasted like salt water. The Wi-Fi hardly worked at all. Otherwise the bed was comfy and the space was okay. The cabin could sleep four easily but we missed having a couch.

Other than the fact that I am in love with my bed at home, and NOTHING compares, The cottages at Westport Inn are incredible. Clean, friendly service, a great romantic get away. We plan to make it a regular visit on our calendar.

The associate helping us check in was very friendly, there was coffee and tea available in the lobby. The unit was nice and clean. The inn is located right on the water. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the bathroom was very cold. The warm air did not circulate into it so it was always very cold. Overall a great place to stay for a low price.

It wasn't bad. We stayed for one night. I had asked the front desk lady about beach access and it seemed like she had no idea there was a beach near by. So she was zero help. She also said we could watch DVDs. We had our son with us so I figured that'd be fun. Except no DVD player in our room. Bummer. Also was told there was Wi-Fi. Um… Yeah if you stood against the window you could connect to the guest Wi-Fi. Then the next day finally the xfinity Wi-Fi magically appeared. But other than a few annoyances, we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were nice. And we'll kept. But maybe train the staff about the area and update the appearance dresscode.

Room is spacious & clean. Tub was nice & warm. We'll be back for sure!

I've stayed in many hotel/motels in Westport in the summer and in the off season and this was by far the worst sleep I've ever gotten! The beds were so uncomfortable I woke up with the worst back ache. From 10pm-4am you could hear people tromping up and down the stairs, and every toilet and shower from your neighbors turn on and off! Will never stay here again. On the plus side the rooms were clean and the wood floors are nice, but if your looking for a good night's sleep which is what most people look for in a good place to stay this is not it.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It is a tad expensive for the off season, but I stayed in one of the top floor rooms and I enjoyed it. Nice views, though the hotel isn't waterfront. Staff was friendly. Will definitely recommend this hotel. :).

A little expensive for being off season. The cabin was beautiful and it was nice to have a bit of extra privacy. Will definitely be returning! Very helpful staff and so close to the ocean I was afraid it was going to wash us away during the storm! Awesome.

My husband and I took our kids here for a short weekend trip. The girl at the front desk was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We upgraded our room from a double queen on the first floor to a King suite on the 3rd floor for $15. The room was exactly what we were looking for. Very clean, nice big bed in the bedroom (my husband is 6ft 4' so a big bed is always a big plus), There is a day bed in the living room with a trundle. This was a unique and wonderful touch. I don't want my kids to have to sleep on a pull out couch so that we can have a separate room and bigger bed. But they loved this. It was like there own fun room! The view from the 3rd floor is amazing. You can see the ocean and the harbor. The location is perfect. We went in October so a lot of things were closed. But we still had plenty to do in the 2 day stay. Restaurants are right there and the staff was more than happy to recommend. We had amazing fish and chips, burgers, breakfast (where they have a crab stuffed cheese omelette! ) All withing a 2 minute walk at the most. The only set backs I could see about our stay are so minor. There is no elevator, which wasn't a set back for us, we generally take the stairs anyway especially after coming back from a fried delicious meal. One of the staff was not as nice/friendly, but we didn't deal with him at check in so no biggy, and the first floor would not have views.

I stayed there with a Groupon and honestly I am so happy that I did. The people there are very nice. The jacuzzi cottage I stayed in was great. Very clean and ready to use. Its very quiet so you can actually relax. Very close to the beach and the town. Everything is in walking distance so I didn't have to use my car once I checked in. The cottage is very cozy and just perfect for a couple getaway or a getaway by yourself. I would reccomend this place to anyone and everyone.

We stayed in the "Jacuzzi Cottage", it was very new and clean. Really a cool little space. Although the "fireplace" was an electric thing mounted above the kitchen counter and did not have real flames. Wood paneled walls added a nice touch. It was clean when we arrived and were planning on staying 4 nights. On day 2 our room was cleaned poorly. Toothpaste still in the sink and dirt in the tub from our child's lengthy jacuzzi session. Not a big deal but we let them know expecting a better job the next day. The next the room wasn't cleaned until almost 3pm, seriously!?! After we complained!?! We even tipped the maid the first time! Two of the three front desk people were rude. One guy didn't even look up from his computer screen for 20 — 30 seconds when we walked in to the lobby. Don't stay here, the people are awful. No Wi-Fi in cottages. Signal was very poor.

This place went from ran down to a great addition to the Westport Marina area.

Don't be put off by the less than stellar exterior. Room had been recently updated. We had booked a single bed, but got upgraded to a suite, which was a pleasant surprise. The man at the front desk provided several ideas for activities in Westport when we arrived. We would definitely stay here again.
