Not incredible, not horrible. It definitely has some age but the owner seems to be working hard to renovate. Doors/Frames could use some upgrading as they are pretty thin or may not fully shut all the way so light came through the side. Room was clean. Could've used an extra plug or two by the desk area for my laptop. I had to unplug the coffee maker. Never had any of the breakfast. Shower was fine, water was hot. Again, an older place, but it's probably light years better than where it was.

Great place! I really enjoyed my stay it is worth going. The host was nice and took good care of us and breakfast was provided. Breakfast consisted of donuts and cold items like that. The rooms had TV's which worked.

Stayed here for a night, wasn't a fan at all. Walls are thin so you can hear the people next to you and in the halls, the door didn't have a working lock and no chain… needless to say we didn't sleep very well that night. The bathroom had no counters, toilet paper holder, and the paint was peeling off. On a good note, the staff was very polite and professional. Thankfully the room was only $85 for the night, you get what you pay for.

Friendly staff, comfy bed, allows pets, but definitely in need of an update. There was no deadbolt on our door, our closet couldn't close, the bathroom was tiny, water damage was apparent on our ceiling, you can see dust on anything that took too much effort to wipe down (top of microwave and fridge). Theres a hallway that passes next to what used to be a swimming pool but has since been filled in, the hall looks like something out of a horror film with foggy dirty windows and emptiness. There's old signs up for the pool and for vending machines I couldn't find, the ice machine was nice though. Overall it may have slightly given me the creeps, but the friendly staff and good night's sleep made up for it, as did the convenient location.

Back in October of 2017 my husband and I got married in Putnam and needed a place for our guests who travelled and for us to stay… we booked 15 rooms and could not have more pleased! After the wedding we came back and the Attached restaurant stayed opened for us so we could have an after party at the bar! They hotel also had and outside patio that we were allowed to hangout at as well! Thanks for being so flexible and understanding to all of your guests and allowing us to feel we were right at home!

The clerk was friendly and helpful she told me right away that building was being renovated. My room was nice and clean the only downside was the bathroom was really small.

Arrived at the last minute, Front desk clerk was awesome, the lobby and room was very clean, they were very accomidaiting to our needs with the power outage.

Where should I start. Keep in mid there is a sign out front saying "Newly Renovated"… The property was less than presentable. The interior was run down where the emergency lights should have been, there were only wires hanging out. The dead bolt lock on the door didn't work. The bathroom had several issues. The front desk blew me off when I tried to ask about check out and there so called continental breakfast. This is only the tip of the proverbial iceberg… I guess there was one good thing about my stay. I didn't have my dog with me…

Very rude front desk lady seem like I woke her up upon arrival. Due to the weather I beat my husband there and even though the room was prepaid online they wouldn't allow me to check in I had two small children with me including a newborn they made me wait in my car for over an hour before allowing me to check in after settling in well after midnight there were a group of young kids in the hallway all hours very noise. The breakfast could have also been better. Never anyone at the front desk when needed and the room was very dirty.

We never actually stayed here because it was full, but the desk clerk was incredibly helpful and called probably a half dozen other hotels in the area to help us find a place to stay. Very impressive customer service!

Always recommend when my friends come in to town. They've never had any complaints, and with all the upgrades and new amenities they've added, its only been getting better. Staffs are friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast is decent. I will definitely stay here again and recommend to all. This place have changed a lot in a good way. Restaurant next door have good food with huge lounge.

Could use some cosmetic improvements in the hall way ect. Outside could also use some cleaning up. The price of the hotel and the location to where we are spending time was wonderful. Everything in the room was clean, and the room had a nice hot shower. Best 62$ hotel room I've been in. No mini fridge or landline In the room, but we didn't need either.

No phone no clock, no Kleenex, no manual bar lock on door, no smoke alarm no safety bar in shower. One lamp did not work and bulb was OK. Left note on lamp and in plain sight cleaning lady ignored it. Manager when contacted quickly provided new lamp and a phone. Bed comfortable, shower had good hot water and TV was acceptable. So you decide. I gave it a two.

Terrible experience… but at least we got a refund. Somewhere around 10 kids running up & down stairs and hallways at 10:30pm — no way were we getting any sleep! Front desk associate very understanding and helpful with refund before we made the 5 hr drive back home to Maine. We were told the hotel owners threw a birthday party for their kids when we checked in at 2:30pm, and yet they were all still running around when we drove off nearing 11:00pm. Not very considerate of patrons (having spent 7 years working in the hospitality field myself). Very disappointing experience.

We stayed here when it was the Kings Inn and it is much better now. Simple rooms — ours only had a shower but, they are pet friendly and our dogs liked the room too. We would recommend this place if you're looking for a low priced, no frills room. It's right off the highway. There is a nice view of a pond out back and a family of geese to enjoy.

This place was one of the most disgusting places our employees have used in all of our years of travel. The sheets were covered with hair and one bed also had scabs on the sheets. No hot water in the shower, the restaurant had been shut down, and breakfast was a bowl of cereal. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Ever.

This is the best motel available; yet the beds are uncomfortable and there is mold on the box spring and wall.

This is a overpriced hotel. The decor, beds, bathroom fixtures are all old and well used and the dark, uninviting room smelled of stale cigarettes.

I've been coming here since 1990, it's a nice getaway for us and our dog. It's a holiday for the dog. We've always loved it here, it's quiet and peaceful with a lovely view of the pond. The breakfast served in room is a wonderful extra.

Hotel in clean and staff is friendly. Free breakfast. Very outdated decor and bathroom fixtures. Very pricey. ($90+/ night) Would expect more for that price.

For the price, not worth it. The beds were lousy, the place had a strange odor and the amenities were nothing that was advertised about.
