Most helpful and conscience manager, Dave, was so warm and welcoming he made our stay exceptional! The plants he cares for in the lobby are exceptional and made me feel right at home! ❣️🙏👍🏼

Just got here so far it is a nice comfortable place.

The rooms were a good size, it is obvious they are trying to renovate by putting in new flooring but they took all the old carpet out of the rooms, they threw all the old carpet out and left it on the ground behind the rooms. Perfect breeding grounds for mice, and other critters. I think could definitely be a health hazard. The a/c system was in need of repair as it would not shut off. Staff was friendly.

I drive for Western Express and we use this hotel all the time. It's clean but most especially it is literally family-run. They're all very nice and sweet. Located next to grocery store and Duncan etc.

So far I just needed new batteries for the remote.

Is ok. Nothing bad. Need more breakfast choices.

Horrible customer service. “DO NOT DISTURB” sign means nothing to their staff. Charging me extra for having a dog, but I’m not allowed to have him inside even when I walk up to a car to get something. Kicked me out from the lounge when I was trying to figure where will he go and if I should go with him somewhere else or come back here. If you travel with your dog, look for another place to stay! also, the room may be freshly remodeled, but the bathroom is falling apart.

Black mold treats truck drivers like cattle rents knowing the rooms are infested w/ bedbugs doesn't wash any covers. Ever.

Once I clicked confirm to reserve my room, I automatically regretted it because I forgot to book the room through Ibotta. I called immediately and asked if they could cancel it so I can rebook it on Ibotta. And they said “no, it’s policy” A policy isn’t set in stone. Whomever came up with rules can always change them. Because they weren’t willing to work with me, I don’t even want to stay at their hotel. But now, I have no choice cause I don’t want to get charged for a cancellation fee. Customer service is EVERYTHING and they could’ve worked with me but chose not to. So here is their ONE star. Poor customer service.

I've stayed here for a week thus far. I find the staff friendly and professional. Each room I have been assigned to has been nice and clean stocked with plenty of towels and breakfast is something I appreciate very much, I'm not a pastry fan so they having eggs sausage biscuits and gravy is a plus for me. As for luxery, it's much better then many places I have stayed previously. My only complaint would have to be limited television channels to choose from. Thank you staff for a confortible stay.

Room 209 Boyfriend called to see if they were any rooms available woman told him $84 he got the room for over $200 overpriced! Bed bugs! Slept for an hour woke up itching my arm and now I have bed bugs all over my arms, my eye and my ear! I saw a bed bug on the sheet just crawling and I killed it! Also had burn holes on the comforter.

Taking a family VK for a 21st birthday, my aunt reserved this hotel through the same company she works at back home in Maine. The front desk receptionist, Dave, has been the absolute WORST staff I've ever dealt with in any hotel I've ever stayed in. We first checked in, Dave refused to give us the hotel for the rate we had printed out from her company he kept us waiting because he said the guests were more important to take care of than us (because my aunt is an employee) we are guests in this hotel like anyone else. Dave then told us he had only been working here for a week. (We then found out he LIED and actually co manages the hotel with his sister) We've had this reserved for 2 months. He actually CANCELED our reservation after arguing with us for over an hour then refused us over and over again without any actual reason. Dave would not let us speak to a manager even though we asked multiple times. He then told us he wasn't going to speak to us, and actually ignored us until we finally got the GM from Maine to contact him and he then gave us a room after 1&1/2 hours of waiting for a room we already had reserved. The room was disgusting, bugs all over the windowcil, every corner of the room has either crumbs, hair or dirt in it. The shower had hair in it and the toilet paper rolls were half gone, the ice bucket was DISGUSTING and 10 inches from the toilet… The bed actually had some type of bug in the sheets!

Great hotel, large quiet room. Great location, nice team, breakfast with a smile.

Very clean, no smell. Comfy beds. Hot breakfast. You have to back in from the street if a tractor/trailer. Very quiet. Great for overnight stay.

I enjoy staying here. This recent stay was my second. I'll continue staying here every time I visit my family in Connecticut because of the friendly staff, free breakfast, amendments and great location. The rooms have a refrigerator, coffeemaker, coffee and microwave. There's also a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Their rates are very reasonable! Make sure you call them directly, so you get the best rate. If you go through someone else, it's higher. The location is very convenient, with a large market practically next door. The market, Big Y, even sell a very good pizza and delicious sandwiches. There's a gas station across the street and restaurants and other stores close by. This Quality Inn Plainfield is my go to place in Connecticut. I recommend it!

If I could give this place negative stars I would. First it started by getting charged over 200$ plus tax for a room, only to search online and find the same room for 85$. Once we got into the room we saw burn holes in our comforter and decided to dig a little deeper in the sheets to find a clump of hair in the bedding. My girlfriend went down to get a non pube infested sheet and was given attitude. So the manager on call decided to bring up our sheet to our room and told us if we were unsatisfied with our room she would gladly refund our $ and we could leave. Not oh I'm sorry let me give you another room or something to try and help the situation. Keep in mind the only reason we went there was because it was a snowstorm outside and we did not feel like driving 3 hours in a blizzard. Just wanted to get a few hours sleep then go home. So once she said that it was on. We said we would be contacting corporate to let them know how disgusted we were (wouldn't have been a big deal if it was a 60$ room) and how rude and ridiculous that a 200$ room has burn holes and stained sheets and while the manager was arguing with my girlfriend in the doorway @ 2 am my girlfriend closed the door in her face and called her a b****only because it was made to seem like this was all our fault. 2 mins later phone rings, we have 10 mins to leave or the cops are being called… Now with all that being said.

Was a nice little place. Quiet and cozy. They also have a nice little breakfast every morning.

Looks like this hotel is in the middle of being renovated (January 2018). Our room was not yet renovated, but our friends had a room that had been. Ours had dirty wall-to-wall carpeting and worn out furniture; theirs had hardwood (composite) flooring and new furniture. Television service (satellite dish) kept cutting out in both rooms. Continental breakfast was OK, but no one was there to refill the empty trays of eggs, sausage, etc. Which was especially annoying because one couple literally brought in empty Tupperware containers and filled them up with breakfast to go — after eating several platefuls at the table! On the plus side, the location is great, the rates are comparatively low, and the front desk staff was very helpful.

The room large room we use for our meetings suits our group perfectly.

Nice experience! Bijal was a beacon of friendliness after an unpleasant experience at another hotel chain. A much nicer place, too! I’ll stay two nights.

Quiet, clean, people are friendly, right near many amenities… what more could you ask for?

My boyfriend and I stayed here for four nights for a wedding. I was very surprised at how clean and spacious the room was. The king size bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean, we ran out of towels one night and requested more, the front desk had them to our room in less than 2 minutes! The rooms have mini fridges and microwaves that worked perfectly. The A. C unit worked great and kept our room cool the whole time. The doors are thin and we were woken up by doors closing in the hallway in the morning so it was a bit hard to sleep in. The breakfast in the morning was good, especially the biscuits and gravy. However the eating area was very small and had furniture piled up around it. The staff was all very nice and accommodating! Overall, I would stay here again especially for the price.

If you book a room, demand the second floor. We stayed on the first floor and the People above us walked around all night and we heard everything! Tv on at 5am. No insulation at all between floors! Way too much money for no sleep!

Room served its purpose as a place to sleep, though not in the lap of luxury. Continental breakfast was sufficient. Currently working on renovations.

This hotel was very easy to get to because it's right off the highway. It's only about1t minutes away from foxwood's, so you don't have to pay their high prices for a hotel. The workers/owners are nice and work with you to accommodate you. It's very clean and there was a decent size continental breakfast.

We love staying in this hotel everything is very comfortable the people is extremely nice always asking if we are ok or we need something also has everything updated beautiful place to be and enjoy we will come back in future …

The overall experience with our stay at Quality Inn was extremely comfortable. We loved the large room size. The hospitality was friendly and over-the-top! "A taste of home"! The hotel had a "Family" atmosphere with the interaction we had with the Owner & his Staff. You rarely find this in today's environment. I highly recommend Quality Inn for an excellent choice of hotels. We did understand that new bed linens were in the process of being ordered. The current linens were clean (no stains) and were very acceptable. Larger pillows would be nice, however, those provided were just fine. We experienced absolutely no negative issues with the hotel. A wonderful experience!

We initially thought this hotel was OK considering the gentleman at the front desk was so friendly. However, truthfulness is the foundation of all human virtues. I must share that my husband and I both have sustained bedbug bites from staying in room 202. I'm pretty upset considering we have travelled quite extensively, and have never encountered bedbugs. I have bites on my face and he his hand and arm. The hotel was pretty empty during our stay, but we received a call at 9 am that it was time to checkout which was quite unusual. I would have to say from my observation that this hotel is severely understaffed, and in need of remodeling (most things are outdated). Most of all, it needs a thorough extermination from pest control.

No surprises here. Got the kind of accommodations and service expected from this brand, and that is not a bad thing.

Excellent Stay. Many Renovations so don't be steered buy the bad reviews.

Very dirty. Literally cleaned bathroom light switch before using. Burn marks on ceiling around smoke detector. I can deal with old, but not old & dirty. Spoke w/ desk clerk and was told they are renovating. Think long and hard before staying here.

Worst hotel stay ever. The place is old and run down. We stayed three nights. We reserved a non-smoking room, but when we check in, we had an ozone machine going in the room and the window wide open and yes it was 38 degrees outside and this still did not get rid of the smoke smell. The room never was cleaned the first day, the second day, I had to ask for the room to be cleaned. When we came back that evening, all they did was make the bed, no new towels, no toilet paper and no garbage was emptied. I just hope this review helps so no one else stays here and they have to tear this place down.

BED BUGS! 2/12/15. Desk manager did nothing to make amends for this disgusting situation. He could care less.

Stayed at this place in Oct 2012. Worst Wi-Fi I've ever encountered, slower than dial-up service. Took a half hour just to connect. Breakfast variety limited, coffee carafes empty most of the time, as front desk clerk was doing BOTH jobs. Room was okay, but that was the only plus. Ice machine located on 2nd floor at opposite end of the building from where my room was, instead of being convenient for all guests. Wouldn't stay in this place again if the room were free.

The staff was VERY frendly and helpful. The room was one of the best rooms I have stayed in, very clean, very comfertable. The breakfast was outstanding, the had hot & cold items to consume. Would stay here again before going anywhere else.
