The rooms themselves are pretty clean. Bathrooms are okay but decent. Door to the hallway doesn't close all of the way and one of the lamps started sparking from the outlet on the base of the lamp when in use. Staff is okay, not good or bad. Has own personal deck which is nice. Comes with large curved TV as advertised. Very quiet staying here and other guests we've seen have been nice.

Great value in Connecticut!

Emergency vacancy when we lost power in the home.

I have to tell you I was so impressed. Passport Inn was clean very clean No bed bugs what soooo ever folks. I was welcomed to a bird named AMY. Whom greats you with a warm welcome. Whow when I travele by myself and when I needed a taxie he called for me. I was impressed by his family as well. When you visit the passport Inn in Middletown Conn. They have big spacious rooms smoking rooms too. And no when I smoked cigarets in the room not bad at el. They even have a little porch like. I would recomend this to a smoker and a non smoker.

Very good place to stay. Large rooms with huge TVs. An Indian restaurant is adjacent and deliver quickly to the room!

Comfortable, nice TV's, spacious, pet friendly.

No frills, competitively priced inn. Nice large curved televisions, and our unit had a microwave and fridge, which we took advantage of. Also had a loveseat and coffee table. It may be dated, but it served its basic purpose well.

It's a little plain but the staff was friendly and attentive. The place was clean.

I have severe allergies; this place is very clean.

In Middletown for a wedding at the nearby Wadsworth Mansion. The motel, as others have noted, is not new by any means and getting in is a bit awkward as the the entry door swings across the entire width of the top step. It was my first time and it was great. The room was clean, smelled good. All the toiletries, the front desk guy was great nice and friendly.

I loved my stay there. The morning view is amazing.

Recently traveled to Middletown for a wedding and brought our dog. Hotel was very dog friendly and the owners themselves were very friendly and loved Woody, the. Great Indian restaurant right next door. The road it's on is a little busy but nothing really to complain about. The sliding glass doors opened up to a cute, yet questionable little balcony. Vending machines only, clean. 50-55" mounted curved Samsung TV but not HD (? ) Looked like they were doing a little remodeling, so maybe that will change. Overall a 3.5/5* no frills motel, but 5*/5* if you're bringing your pet. Plus Wi-Fi, fridge, microwave, spacious room and pretty comfy high beds.

We stayed in August, 2013. This pet friendly hotel features clean, large rooms with a good bed for a good nights sleep. A bonus is the fridge, microwave, iron and free internet. Staff was friendly. A great value at a reasonable price.

This place is nicely located on a hillside outside town. Undergoing extensive reservations which should make it nicer. Our room was very nice, but the lobby area was still a bit shabby. The owner is sweet, even if he wears old t-shirts and flip-flops. Not fancy, but quite OK.
