Wonderful staff who really mean aloha. I will be staying here whenever I visit this beautiful island for work. Hiro’s Ohana Grill brings Ohana home to you. Many mahalo to all of you at Hiro’s and Molokai Hotel.

Relaxing and quiet. The staff were friendly and the food at the restaurant was delicious. We hope to be back again.

Oh my goodness, so thankful for this incredible restaurant.
The staff was so kind. Our dinner started with the joy of a good Mai tai, then onto the shrimp scampi pasta that was cooked to perfection. Followed by the chocolate lava cake, that melts in your mouth.
Atmosphere, drink, food, and service makes for a truly magical moment on Molokai.

This place is heaven on earth.

Most of the staff was very polite, professional and helpful. Though there was a very rude daytime bartender who was so loud and obnoxious. One person doesn’t make my opinion change, I would definitely come back!

I went for dinner. Food was good. View was amazing. Bartender prior to being seated was awesome! The server and / or kitchen was sooooooo slow! I didn’t time dinner coming out, but we made the mistake of ordering dessert and after 30 minutes of waiting for it I finally told her to forget it. Instead of hustling to make sure we got it she said okay, and finally got our bill. She was, however VERY attentive to a large party that came in an hour after us. Very disappointed.

Hotel Moloka’i is magical! Old school charm, a fantastic hotel bar with friendly staff (including my faves Michelle at the bar and Phil on the floor), and ocean views to die for. I’ve stayed three times since first visiting the island in July, and I plan on coming one more time In December. Love it! — с Cassie Alice.

Great restaurant magnificent views.

Great weekend with the kids! Traveling with kids stay in room 218! Room was perfect with 4 kids not too close to the other rooms where they played and not too much noise for the other quests. Also great kitchen for cooking! Bar by the pool is great and so is the food! Restaurant is conveniently by the pool! Recommend the LAVA FLOW from the beautiful bartender if u want a drink! Tried it and now that’s all I want to drink! Friendliest staff ever!

This is a very enjoyable, low key hotel right on the water. However, before you get to the pleasant rooms, pool, restaurant, etc. You are unfortunately subjected to a loud TV in the activities area blaring that horrid Fox News. We heard others in the restaurant and at the pool who loathed having that hateful station spewing its lies in the lobby. … This is an easy fix — please do it!

The location — close to the village and grocery stores and superb sea view over to Lanai. The garden is well groomed and peaceful but is of better use to residents than visitors.

We are a family of three and our recent stay at this hotel exceeded expectations. The location is perfect. — centralized. The reservation, staff and overall everything was top notch. We were even allowed an early check-in (3 hours early). I have already recommended this place to several friends who have Molokai on their travel list out of Oahu.

We eloped to Hotel Molokai. Absolutely everything was too amazing for words… especially the calamari!

My husband and I stayed with our 6 month old and they were very accommodating for us, put a pack n play in our room for him so we didn’t have to worry about that. Nice cute little place.

We stayed at Molokai Shores for one week and we loved it there. It sits right on the beach with absolutely beautiful views of the ocean. One of my favorite things to do was to have coffee on the balcony every morning while enjoying the ocean view. Our room was newly remodeled and in excellent condition. The room and the grounds were immaculate. I will absolutely stay at Molokai Shores again if I ever go back to the beautiful island.

Third room floor. No elevator. 5 person suite. Clean and furnished. Really hot in the afternoon with no ac. Cable TV and Wi-Fi. Friendly staff. Right next to the ocean with beach access. Medium sized pool clean and usable.

We were in Unit C-131 for 3 nites. Roaches on kitchen & bathroom counter, refrigerator: my food (which I had to dump) & water bottle got frozen. No air condition-so hot! Fan has 3 speeds but speed was very low. Condo home owner across over bedroom, had wind chimes, so very noisy when trying to sleep. I complained which they credited me back the cleaning fees but they charged me $260.76. Reservation manager is still trying to find out why I was charged but it has taken over a week & still no explanation & no credit! Sorry, I will never go back to Castle Molokai Shores! Susan Debina.

Lisa, my sister-in-law, reserved a 1 bedroom unit, for my husband and I, at Moloka'i Shores. Our clean, furnished unit, was in a perfect location; not far from One Ali'i, the park we were having our family reunion. Beautiful courtyard, leading to the pool area, with oceanfront views. Parking permit given, to ensure space for patrons and residents, alike. Easy access to these spacious units. Friendly, friendly, staff!

My 3 yr old grand daughter & I, my little nieces along with my sister that stopped in to visit enjoyed a wonderful weekend. Had fun @ the pool, played on the sandy beaches at low tide, chased crabs, walked along on the beautiful sandy beach outside our hotel room & even played hide & seek on the green cut grass lawn that was so perfect. The days & nights were so calm, peaceful & relaxing. Felt so safe & happy. The staff from beginning to end of our trip were absolutely friendly, happy & soo very nice to us. A great time. You must take the time to visit & stay here.

Hotel Molokai was a wonderful stay. The open air room was perfect for our week on Molokai the hotel and restaurant staff were WONDERFUL! We loved how relaxing the island and stay was. Our only complaint is that we had our toilet back up and the staff just left a plunger outside of the room instead of getting it fixed. Other than that and regardless, we would definitely visit and stay again! Side note, as a lot of places in Hawaii the food is a little pricey. Overall, we loved our visit and how nice the people were to us!

Very nice relaxing condo, close to everything, security and the rest of the condo staff on-site was very friendly and also helpful. Can't beat the view from the lanai, where it's so quiet you hear the wind rusting through the palm tree leaves (except for the occasional car driving by). The one bedroom is perfect size for 2-3 people. Just keep in mind that Molokai Shores is one of the few condos on the island, and its made up of a combination of people living in the units (owners & renters) as well as units being used as vacation rentals. If your expecting a hotel type setting (such as on the mainland or Oahu/Maui with daily maid service, A/C, full front desk staff, etc) then you'd be better off staying at the hotel which has that tourist look and feel to it. Molokai Shores gives you a small taste of what it might be like to live on the island as a local in a condo setting. I would give this a 5 star rating, but the unit I stayed in just needed several little minor things done to it (broken lamp replaced, worn out carpet replaced on the Lanai) and those things fall on the responsibilty of the individual unit owner. I'll defentally stay there again on a return trip to Molokai.

Very well maintained facility with clean pool. Laundry available. Room also very clean. Wi-Fi OK but not always reliable.

Clean, great views, right on the ocean. Listen to the whales at night. The rooster will wake you in the morning, but you get used to it and come to expect it.

Stayed here the first time to Molokai. Loved Molokai so much, I visited again 3 months later. However, the second time staying at Hotel Molokai, the room was infested with bed bugs. I woke up every day, with bites and more bites all over my body. I took photos of the bed bugs, showed it to the front desk, and all they could say to me was: "Please, do not post this on Yelp". No discount, no apologies, nothing. Also, the restaurant was closed, and the bar was closed. Rumor around town was, they got busted for drugs and had to close down all services of the restaurant and bar. No one warned us or notified us prior to our arrival of this situation. We had to take a shuttle every time we wanted to go out to eat or have cocktails. I would love to visit Molokai again, however I would NEVER stay here again! Please, do your research and choose a villa or a condo down the highway for your visit. Totally disappointed in their service and customer service.

Great location. We stayed in a wonderful condo and enjoyed ourselves. I really enjoyed the location and being able to walk downtown. It truly felt like a vacation.

Recently refurbished, elegant, modern, spacious 2 bedroom condo (incld loft) hardwood & tile, clean, roomy, contained everything we needed for our two weeks of comfort. Large Lanai to view the beautiful sunsets. Gorgeous grounds and landscaping. Host very friendly and helpful. Loved Molokai.

Great location since it’s close to town. Very quiet and the people are friendly. We were there Christmas Eve and a few guests were singing and playing the ukulele. Not the most updated but the view was beautiful and better than some very nice hotels on some of the other islands.

The room itself was great but there were people talking right outside of our room all night. The place advertises quiet hours but they are definitely not enforced. The beach in front of this place is fairly thin and if you go in the water, you can expect to encounter lots of seaweed (I hope that's what it was).

Closest lodging to main town, very convenient. Nice property right on the beach and lots of parking. Fenced pool and outdoor grill area.

Ocean front room with AC did not disappoint! Very friendly staff and a relaxed environment. They were very accommodating in all aspects. The customer service at the restaurant left a lot to be desired but they are a separate entity from the hotel so we didn't hold it against them. They are the only hotel on the island but they don't act like it. Would definitely stay there again.

What's not to love about Hotel Molokai? Waking up to the scent of plumeria trees outside my balcony… surrounded by fragrant trees and the ocean. I could stay there forever. It is centrally located and not far from grocery stores, bakeries, and restaurants. The hotel has its own restaurant with good food and a beautiful view of the ocean… you can see Lanai and Maui too. I cant wait to go back!

Place is nice, grounds are well kept. Water might be brown in the area though.

I have been to the Islands almost 20 times in the last 30 years. We stayed here once before and it was wonderful. Not so this time. Sad. Has fallen into disrepair. Veneer peeling, door handles missing, drawers falling out, fans rigged with extension cords, cockroaches, 1 butterknife, 1 wine glass etc. Etc. Won't stay here again.

Very small unit. No A. C. In unit makes it difficult to sleep. Nicely updated kitchen.

No ac and cheap ceiling fans makes it hot all day and all night. Road noise. TINY inside for a 2 bedroom (which we have 4 people), living room is tight and definitely cannot comfortably fit more than 3, dining room seats 2. Advertising info was incorrect, stating 1 King which ended up being a queen. Reservation agent slow to respond! No cooler for day trips. Water in shower never gets below hot so it's tough to take a HOT shower, can't stand directly under water. Quiet time is supposed to be 10 am to 8 am but no one enforcing that and guests are loud coming and going all night and leave their TV's on with volume up. I guess it's loud because everyone has their windows open trying to get a breeze but you can hear conversations as well. Parking is not ideal, not enough spaces in front of your building and narrow stalls. SO hot in lofts — no windows and cheap ceiling fans, is VERY hard to sleep here. The 1 bathroom in the condo is attached to downstairs bedroom, not ideal for more than a couple staying here with their little kids. Kitchen is so tiny, hard for 1 person to move around. Would not stay here again.

Magical … really. Great staff (Michael & Co) great food, great music, great watching whales breach eating breakfast, beds are comfy!

The hotel property is lovely and it is quiet if you want a relaxing get away from Oahu.

Location great = 1 star. Staff is unfriendly and arrogant towards German guests. Molokai is a pretty island. The Hawaiians themselves are more of a nightmare. It is unbelievable how arrogant and impatient they are towards holidaymakers who do not speak English so well. Molokai, since unfriendly Iceland. I can't write as much as I want. The room was cleaned in the afternoon, on request — by such an unfriendly woman, which I would immediately dismiss. A naughtiness of the same kind. The price — performance ratio is not correct at all. Totally overpriced. The only, really friendly person was the lady in the souvenir shop. I would also sack the service staff at the restaurant because of their unkindness. That the plates were not thrown on the table was everything. Molokai visited twice. The first and the last time.

Great location, muddy, small beach. Ocean view from most condos. Clean, but it better be for $160 clean fee. Sofa couch was terrible with metal bars grinding into my back. Close to town was also nice.

Great condo, 2 bedrooms with 2 private bathrooms attached. Spacious living and dinning room. Two refrigerators for entertaining. Come and Explore Molokai!

Everything was great. Mike & the staff are laid back & personable. The Monday night meet & great with Mike is nice; free drinks on him & he hands out nice little gifts like coffee, bags, books & more.
The bar has some nice locals (hi Billy, Win, Wayne, Morgan) and the bar & pool are relaxing with a great view.
The rooms are wonderful & I recommend a 2nd floor room with a deck to enjoy.

Very inexpensive apartments (no air conditioning or elevators) right on the beach in Molokai! (Great Molokai lodging value! Spacious, beautiful wooden furnishings, adequate kitchen, lovely setting, but of course needs some renovation & a little TLC (part of its charm) upon our late night arrival a woman came to or sir with her daughter selling banana bread which we bought for breakfast!

Multiple time customer! Never been disappointed, the place is nice. And there's pretty good fishing right in the front. Ita the only place I've stayed on Moloka'i and its the only place I plan to stay when I visit.

Loved it… was disipointed at arriving, no air, but not needed! Trade Winds worked great! Didnt see air at any holtel/condos? Would recomend 100%!
