The owners were extremely nice and hospitable! Their home was absolutely beautiful and very clean. The grounds were gorgeous and sat very near the water, which made for a stunning sunrise. I would love to visit again and definately recommend this B and B to everyone.

Rest and restore. Our time there 5 days great, will visit again. The owner Jen and Kevin are great hosts, and as the week progressed, became friends. While being away from town, Anchor B&B was perfectly quiet.

We rented the skipjack cottage for a week to celebrate our 5th anniversary, and we are so very happy to have done so. We went to sleep every night in a luxurious king sized bed in a spacious loft with a romantic view of the evening sky over the mountains, then we woke up every morning to a spectacular view of the sun rising over table rock lake! We had EVERYTHING we could possibly need provided to us in the cottage… A full kitchen, with all of the utensils, pots, pans, silveware, bowls, plates, you name it, they provided it! Even books, board games, and movies for the possibility of a rainy day! There is a 4 person hot tub and a grill provided as well, complete with robes, towels, and grilling tools! staff was very kind, and extremely helpful with any questions we had for things to do, and offered us access to the lake from their personal dock. It was the perfect experience for a romantic getaway to celebrate our anniversary, and we have so many wonderful memories that will last a lifetime! Lenny and Cat Bender, des Moines, Iowa.

Our first time at a B&B and it was legit, perfect. Our room was amazing. I loved all the cute little details they had around the house and in our room. Plenty of candies and snacks to munch on. Stocked fridge with drinks. The breakfasts were Amazing! Seriously… food was.
We got a lot of use out of the kayaks and lake. It’s nice and private, so we got to enjoy by ourselves quite a bit. Everything was perfect and we will definitely be back again!

It was a wonderful spot for a romantic getaway with my husband! The sheets are amazing as is the air jetted tub. The breakfast is awesome too. We highly recommend it for a couples getaway!

First time at a BB and it was a very nice stay, great room, great breakfast and fabulous inn keepers. Great place for couples to stay at Table Rock. We have stayed from one end of the lake to the other for nearly 30 years at resorts and this BB ranks up amongst the best. Highly recommended for a couples retreat/vacation.

I really don’t know what to say, everyone else’s posts pretty much hit the nail on the head, but I’ll give it a shot. We just returned from an 8 day stay at the Inn on the lake, and it’s my understanding from Kevin and Jen (The Inkeepers and our new friends), that we had the longest stay of anyone who have stayed there since they have owned the Inn so far, and I believe that’s 4 years. As a side note their daughter Emma who is 2 is a real darling. First, we stayed in the Maryland Room which has a hot tub and is beautifully appointed. The first comment my significant other said to me was “This place is Immaculate”. It’s true, the whole place is spotless and they remake up the rooms between 11am and 3pm and it was a real pleasure to return to at the end of our day. Second, Jen is a terrific cook and every day at 9am the breakfasts she prepared were delicious and different, never the same thing twice and always more than enough. Thirdly, you were treated as friends and not customers. A five star rating on this place rates a 6th star. Fourth, one of the other guests had brought his fishing pole and was catching bluegill and bass off the small dock. Also, the landscaping is beautifully maintained and the grounds and views of the lake are awesome. Fifth, for our stay we were meeting and staying these 8 days with our friends from South Carolina (we are from So-Cal) whom we had met in Europe on a Viking cruise and they were also more then pleased with their accommodations.

This place was absolutely amazing. The loft in The Windjammer had a splendid view on the mountain overlooking Lake Bluff. Like some of the people stated it’s a vacation spot with the feel of home. The jacuzzi was worth it after spending the day walking around to all the attractions. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Its fantastic! You feel like your on vacation but at the same time you feel like your at home. The rooms are freaking awesome! Kevin and Jenn are the perfect hosts and really know how to take care of their guests! Thank you for the best weekend of our lives and for a very memorable anniversary!

Kevin & Jen were absolutely amazing. They treated us very well. It was a very peaceful getaway. My husband and I went there to celebrate our first anniversary! The view was awesome and the breakfast we had daily was prepared with love, it was fulfilling and taste very good too. Definitely will be back again very soon. They deserve a 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!

Anchor Inn is such a beautiful B&B. My wife and I stayed here on our anniversary and it was perfect. Everything was spotless clean and the bed sheets were, by far, the softest and most comfortable that I've ever felt. We stayed in the Virginia room and the view of the lake was awesome. We woke up watching the sunrise over the lake. The breakfast was amazing as well. Baked French toast with pecans and strawberrys. Not only did it taste amazing but the presentation of the plate was fantastic. Kevin and Jenn are very pleasant, kind, and warm hearted people. We honestly can't wait to go back and stay with them again!

We have stayed at Anchor Inn On The Lake for about 12 years. Every time we come to the Branson area we stay here. It's a beautiful setting and each of the four guest rooms are comfortable and lovely. It is right on Table Rock Lake, you just walk down the yard to their dock. They have kayaks and a paddle boat for your use. It is about 30 minutes west of Branson, far enough to be peaceful, yet close enough to access all the activities in Branson. The Innkeepers are very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are fantastic! Give them a try!

This is the best B&B we've ever had the pleasure to stay at. The Inn Keepers, Jenn and Kevin, are incredible hosts and the food was really good! We'll definitely be coming back in the spring and summer!

Awesome service great homemade food very clean and awesome views.

Fiancé and I came to celebrate our engagement. The lake view is amazing in their sunroom in the morning for coffee, and wine in the evening. The breakfasts are delicious. The rooms are clean and cozy and you immediately feel like you're at home with everything they offer. And they cover the smallest details in service e. G having a coffee mug warmer so your mugs are nice and toasty for coffee. Will definitely be returning and will recommend to anyone. The location is a little out of the way to some but I enjoy that. The stars over the lake are beautiful.

Love their foods, we went there, for our honeymoon 2008 love it. Owner really friendly!

As part of my rushed trip to SE Texas I chose to stay in the Branson area on the way back home and stayed at Anchor Inn on the Lake Bed and Breakfast. My wife and I booked the Virginia Room and the bedroom is spacious and has a large private bathroom. We found the mattress to be a bit firmer than we like, but we still had a restful sleep and woke up refreshed for the final leg of our journey. The breakfast the next morning was very delicious — we had a fruit salad with nuts to start and then we were served a quiche with biscuits and jam. We would recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone going to the area.

One experiance that you will never forget. Dee was extreamly nice, she checked us in and took the time to give us a huge map with tourst spots. She pointed out a few cool places that we would care to go to. however we rented a cottage that you jusr didnt want to leave. The bed was as soft as a cloud. No joke! The view of the lake was unforgetable. The hot tub omg! Huge deck with a grill. Huge full furnished kitchen. Even had a dining room. The only issue I had was the Well water smell. In summary, Excellent for a romantic getaway. Yes book here its the place! Would I go back? Yes! Branson is a bit of a drive if you want to go downtown, so make it worth your trip. I wasnt impressed, would have rather stayed at this cabin :) (Wind Jammer cottage).

My husband and I celebrated our birthdays at Anchor Inn in October 2011. We had been to a football game in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and decided to travel to southern Missouri to see the Ozarks and Table Rock Lake that we had been told was so beautiful. We had never been in that area and also wanted see what Branson was all about. We lucked up when we found this B&B on the Internet. We stayed in the Virginia Waterside Room which was a great room on the lakeside. Mike and Dee are great hosts who make you feel at home, and they prepare wonderful breakfasts! The Inn is off the beaten path and gives you a chance to enjoy a quiet, peaceful stay away from all the activity in Branson.

Wonderful setting and hosts. Every detail is thought out. Views are wonderful. Perfect and quiet retreat. Will go back again soon.

Dee and Mike are tremendous hosts! We have stayed in several B&B's over the past few years, but none will ever be as special as Anchor Inn. Our plans to Halifax, Nova Scotia were canceled at the last minute due to a snow storm that shut down the Chicago airport. Christmas without family! A nightmare! But our change of plans turned out to be a special, unexpected blessing. We had 2 nights of wonderful rest and peace which renewed and restored us. We will never forget Christmas 2008. The view from the Mediterranean Lighthouse Room was outstanding, the breakfast was wonderful, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing.
