THEY ALMOST KILLED ME… LITERALLY! Let me start by saying that the night of our arrival was due to a trauma in which staying in a hotel was our only option. I was met by this massive smell of urine in the hall and a tick in our bed which clearly indicated the sheets had not been changed. We were destined to remain here for quite some time. Three months later, we were moved to a new room. Again, there was a tick in the bed. I tried talking with them about cleaning over and over again, but everyone passed the buck and assured me it would be taken care of properly. Short-cuts were taken at any moment one could get away with it and absolutely no reprimands were given. But, that's not what nearly killed me. I had noticed for quite some time that my pain levels were increasing and I began having new medical problems. My doctor could not figure out what in the world was going on with me as I had stopped responding to my pain meds and was NOT responding to meds to remedy this new, life threatening problem. And, then I discovered the truth. Entering my room one day, I noticed my drawer had been opened and I immediately checked my medications. I was missing massive amounts, but not only were they missing, there were different sized pills in the bottle. OH YES, they had been REPLACED with another medication. That medication was interfering with something else I was taking and it nearly took me out! The very moment I made this discovery, stopped this medication, and was put back on my proper medications everything returned to status quo. But, not without being treated as if I were the problem here in this hotel. The truth of the matter is that the person that stole this medication and committed this criminal act of attempted homicide still works there. In fact, it was myself and my family that suddenly got kicked out of the hotel when I made it clear, I would take action! The hotel after housing us for 6 months was "suddenly booked. " This was their response knowing we would need accommodations for several more months. We had 2 days to find a place and literally MOVE since we were living there. But, that's not the icing on the cake. The manager REFUSED to administer a drug test to the ones that had access to my room even though that was within his rights. And, the manager is a registered pedophile, LEVEL 3! That's right… someone that has access to any and all rooms at any time is there working for you with your kiddos as you come to stay overnight. I would warn any and all of your friends to steer clear of this facility. There are indeed some nice people there, but management is unwilling to take action on anything that needs attention. If you value your life and the lives of your children, stay away!
