The beautiful and historic Arlington hotel and Spa in downtown Hot Springs is one of the great treasures of our country. It has a very sophisticated atmosphere at the same time you can enjoy a very special family fun place. The beauty of the lobby and bar area along with nightly piano bar is very enjoyable!

Great Service, bath an Massage is Awesome.

Service in the restaurant was less than adequate. Finally had to ask were I could refill my ice and water, since the two waitresses only had three tables in total, I thought getting a refill was self serve.
Sandwich was to come with mayonnaise but again, had to ask for that.
Would not recommend at all.

Great service, wonderful spa and terrific massage… so relaxing.

Wonderful hotel — a faded grand dame, clean comfortable and affordable. The lobby and pools are awesome and the staff is very accommodating. We will keep coming back!

Very nice hotel with friendly staff members. Really enjoyed my weekend visiting from Shreveport! Had a very comfy-cozy room with a nice view, never had to ask for clean towels or extra anything like that. Nice pool and very interesting hotel history… Stay on the 4th floor! :)

This hotel is the oldest in Arkansas, but I must say we had a fabulous stay. Only for one night, I did a bath in the bath house it was the most unique spa experience ever. Mrs. Glenda was so kind. The shower in our room was the best-i will def be back soon. The pool and hot tub are great too. Def get Valet parking its only $17 for 24 hours. Worth it!

The hotel itself is beautiful from an architectural standpoint. The rooms are large and can easily accommodate 4-5 people. The hotel also offers all the amenities such as valet parking, in-house bar/longe, in — house, full service restaurant, spa, pool, and meeting rooms. However, the hotel needs some work. The charm is in its old world charm, doesn’t mean you can remodel and update the furniture. The paint and plaster in rooms is faded and crack, there is no vanity area in bathroom, the furniture looks like it belongs at your local roach motel and the decor is non-existent. They had a large screen TV cover a large mirror, just did not make sense. For a full scale hotel they did not have in room microwaves not mini fridge. The entire place needs new furniture, carpeting, paint, a lighting fixtures. If done, then hotel would go head to head with any high caliber hotel in America.

Great stay. Very good service excellent guest service. Yes, it's an older hotel but that is the draw. Good food, the seafood buffet on a Friday night was good. But a bit pricey. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back and recommend it to others.

Was not please with the breakfast buffet food in the mornings, if the breakfast wasn’t included in our package I wouldn’t have went back, the eggs were watery and very pale yellow, the gravy was very runny (watered down), and so were the juices and milk, the rooms were ok and overall the hotel was nice to look at for its age and history, I just expected more.

Dining room service and food was very good. It is an older property that provides a warm ambience. Who knows, Al Capone probably sat a few chairs away when he stayed here.

Really needs an update, but the bones are great! The staff at the bar is wonderful and quick! The housekeepers are excellent and the staff is always willing to help. Loved the room service, just awesome. Just do NOT expect a quick or well-maintained breakfast service. We stayed for several days and it was never the same twice. Super quick one day and then an hour wait for toast and eggs while only two other tables besides us had customers. Lots to do and see while staying, but the thing that made me give a three-star rating is the parking facilities. You either can pay $17 a night for valet parking, park in a tiny roadside parking lot, a huge parking lot completely around the block or in a parking garage from hell. Oh gosh, it is awful! Also, none of the sites seem to be monitored for only paying customers, so the bottom of this awful garage is usually full of day shoppers. The second floor is very hard to navigate, especially when there are cars parked in the driving sections. I really hope this can be fixed!

This place is a historic hotel so go with that in mind. They are lovingly restoring it to old time luxury but it is not modern, nor should it be. The staff is friendly and helpful the place is clean and it has the best location in town. Walk across the street right into the National Park walk down the block and be right on bathhouse row. If you have the budget for the suite it is an amazing upgrade. I hope they are able to continue to renovate this place so we can go again and again.

Had a wonderful Sunday Brunch with family! One of the best in a long time. Excellent atmosphere, great food, and very accommodating service. Had pleasant live piano music. One side had crepes made to order and the other an omelet station with any ingredient you could imagine. I was able to enjoy smoked salmon with capers, wonderful fresh fruit, salad, great sides, all while not being obligated to massive amounts of carbohydrates. Everything was clean, high quality, top-notch! A word of advice, access to such quality comes at a price but it was well worth it at $30 for a nice experience.

The best staff! I see reviews saying the hotel needs updating. They still have bellhops. Bellhops! It does make you feel like your in the past, but that's what I love about Hotsprings. I heard it has new ownership that is pouring $50 million into a renovation. I hope they satisfy those people, but don't break the hearts of us that love the charm. You have to go to the bathhouse on the 3rd floor. Those people will take care of you! We were married in the park across the street at the foot of the falls. We had our reception at the Arlington and it was one for the ages. It's been 15 years and people still bring it up. Live music just inside the front doors and a blue lit bar. Prepare to be pampered and feel at home in a life from years gone by. Yes, this all means 5 stars.

I reserved 3-rooms for two nights at the Arlington. On the first night my son told me that there was someone at the door saying that his older mentally disabled brother owed him money. I went to the door and a non black man was at the door saying that he had bought crack from my son. The man was clearly high on something and I took my children inside the room and called security and told them what was going on. I had called maintenance earlier because there was a problem with my mom's shower. When maintenance knocked on the door I opened it and say the guy lying down on the floor in the hall and I told the maintenance guy what happened and he had his assistant escort the guy away. A little while later I got a visit from security stating that he had talked the drug addict who said that my son had sold him crack. I told the security guy that we do not sell or use crack. He was very rude and told me that since I reserved the room that I was responsible for what happened in the room. I again told him that we do not use or sell crack and he was welcome to search our rooms and he said that he does not search rooms so I told him to call the police and they can search the room. He said that they were not going to call the police. He then said that someone had spotted the guy who was looking to buy crack walking with a black male earlier and the guy gave our room number. My first thought was is my son the only male black in the hotel?

I really enjoyed staying at the Arlington Hotel! It's a lovely historic bldg with an amazing front lobby/bar area. The bldg is showing some age (kept thinking I would come across the Shining twins in the hallways), but the location is great and they allow dogs! The rooms have actual keys which I loved. We had a large room facing the main drag of the bathhouses, so you could hear some traffic, but view was worth it. I would stay again. If you want a brand-new hotel, then you shouldn't stay here. In 20 years will you remember the time you stayed at a Holiday Inn Express or another bland Marriott? Just saying.

Rodney checked us in and out. He was full of information and very quick and kind. The room was clean, the beds were lovely, and we quite enjoyed the pool and hot tub area. I love the new bar design. The hotel was walking distance from everything we needed including breakfast and dinner, boutiques and shops, and popular bars like Maxine's and the Ohio Club. There is a We Proudly Brew Starbucks in the hotel lobby and the lattes were fast and delicious.

Very pretty to visit. Service isn't great, but that is just Arkansas. Rooms and beds are very old. I recommend hanging out here and sleeping somewhere else. Good place to spend Mothers Day, New Years eve, and such. Four stars because it is a beautiful place and the pool layout is pretty cool!

I am madly in love with this Hotel. It's incredibly beautiful and historic. It's full of quaint Southern hospitality, and still has a regal feel to it. It is dated, but that only adds to the charm. The service is incredibly kind and helpful. The Valet are the kindest ever and "Joe" is the nicest man and will help you with your luggage. We stayed on the 7th floor and enjoyed the double level pool and Jacuzzi. The weekend nights bring live music into the beautiful bar and you can sip your drink on the vast veranda that overlooks the streets full of bustling stores and horse drawn carriages giving tourists a ride through the beautiful center. Our room had a view of the park and it was a lovely sight to awaken to. I truly didn't want our vacation to end. Partly because there were so many sights left to see, and so many things left to experience… But mostly, because I didn't want to leave the Arlington.

While the once beautiful Arlington is very interesting, I will never stay here again. The lobby is beautiful but has dark, creepy lighting. When you go up to your room, the elevators are dirty. In the hallways to the rooms, you can find what appears to be a scene from a haunted hotel movie. In the rooms, you'll find that they're not clean and not properly maintained. The paint is chipping off the walls, the carpet has stains and looks dirty, the mattresses are old and lumpy, the tubs have paint chips, rust, and mildew, the curtains were even dirty. We had a massage and bath scheduled but canceled once we saw the condition of the hotel. It is very sad that a place that used to be so grand and elegant is being run like this. It should be restored and have many improvements before I consider even looking inside again.

This hotel has a great deal of history. If you stay here, it's going to be because you want to step back in time. The lobby is beautiful. The bartender, Shelly, is super sweet. My favorite thing was just sitting on the porch watching downtown Hot Springs… it's really such a uniquely beautiful place, the whole area, and The Arlington is the peak of the area.

Worse experience ever! Come In for couple bath and massage. Bath was great service, but the massage experience was terrible! Hour late after they told us it be 15 min the most to get in and we had to cancel dinner reservations to come back for massage it was the worse worse one I’ve ever had and the most expensive one I’ve ever paid for. Comp my wife stuff in the spa and then told us we have to pay extra. Really! I recommend using other places other then here. Manager was terrible to deal with. Came from Tulsa just to experience this and it was awful. Go somewhere else!

Disgusting old smelly hotel. Last time repairs were made during Merlin Monroe. The walls in the room are cracked, so many times that the paint lay not exactly and bubbles. Furniture is not just a boo. And Starnier. Wallpaper immediately cause a dipresmia. In the soul is so poor ceiling that when you take the armpits, the hand upstairs just do not lift…
For 3 nights room $380 It is clearly overpriced for this hotel. Yes, the city of Hot Springs was formerly very popular with its sources, but on the service which is so limps prices should be lowered. There was no fridge or myoolnovki in the room. The benefit was-10, on the windowsill laid on the side of the street yogurts.
You want to go to the hotel, throw the money forward!
Oh, yes! 3 nights slept in a triple on one bed. Folding cot or extra bed for a child of 4 years to put just not where it was! Scoop!

It's an old hotel but in a good way. A historic place. Needs some renovations.
