Relax Inn Benton Hotel

Owner constantly comes to room to look around, Wi-Fi was very spotty, TV was dark and couldn't see shows. Ice machine didn't work properly and cockroaches had full run here.

Rooms were good, nice and clean. Bathroom taps looked antique. Wifi was ok not that great. Overall stay was comfortable.

Do not EVER go here! It isnt just crappy it is TERRIBLE im uploading some pictures because no-one would believe me if I just said its terrible.

The owners are rude. There's a hole in the ceiling. When it rains it pours through into my room. I requested to be moved. I was told I could stay in this room or I could leave. Unfortunately, this is my only option right now.

Scammers! You need to replace all the money you've stolen from your guests. And stop going in guests rooms unannounced you SICK PERVERT.

Tried to take my money. First room they showed me the air was broke, next room a hole in the ceiling, third room hot water handle on shower broke. Very rude people. Stopped payment on card as they wanted to charge me. I feel a law suit.

Just ok for the price. The only good thing is that it was cheap. The bed was very uncomfortable. The sink was clogged up. The shower pressure was terrible. The towels were worn out and ripped up. But like I said I needed a cheap place for a few weeks while I was in town for business. They charged $200 per week including taxes. So I put up with the lack of luxuries and professionalism. Then when I checked out they didn’t want to give a receipt. I travel for business so I need the receipts for taxes. (March 2018)

Rooms are in need of remodeling, but for a cheap motel it was remarkably clean. The housekeeper did an amazing job.

It was good enough to lay my head. Wi-Fi never works, units in room barely work at times (depends on room). It could use a major facelift inside the room and outside to attract more customers.

My husband and I were treated like criminals. We were tired and didn't want to search for a atm in the middle of the night because the man at the desk wanted $2.00 cash as a deposit on the room key. He said if we didn't have the cash he would have to hold my husband's drivers license until the key was returned. The room was what you would expect for the price. The next morning when we returned the took key the man said he needed to check the room before he could return my husband's drivers license. We waited while he inspected the room. The only + was location. Right off the interstate.

They are rude and it is a down right nightmare as far as a place to stay I'd rather spend the night in a zoo cage it would be cleaner and more comfortable. The air conditioning and heat didn't work they came to the room and said it was fixed and it wasn't they refused to give me another room so I told them where to go and left due to the fact. They also refused to refund my money.

It is a nice place to stay for a night or a week like I did. Great price and rooms cleaned daily, manger is very nice and polite. If I am ever this way again I will stay here again.

My visit to Relax Inn was horrifying, absolutely disgusting I have taken pictures of some of the major issues that relax in has with their facilities at least with the room I was in. But I can reassure everyone that I will NEVER stay there again! In all honesty… I'd prefer to sleep under a bridge rather than waste the money to recieve some type of sickness from that place EVER AGAIN! the entire place is completely unappealing, EVERYTHING from the front door, the walls, the lighting in each room, the bathroom and worst of all the BED… the ENTIRELY facility is unsanitary and flat out REPULSIVE, yet it's classified as a clean & safe place the owners claim to call a "hotel". Yes by definition it's a "hotel" but it is far from sanitary or safe! Whomever is reading this please for your own sake, and the sake of whomever your traveling with… Take my advice, and sleep in your car on the side of the road before wasting money to stay there. OR… please suck it up and pay the extra $10 to stay ANYWHERE else besides here! It's noisy (from the highway being less than 150 feet from your front door), And it's disgusting! Please let me know how to contact the health inspector or someone I need to speak with about shutting that place DOWN! It would be greatly appreciated. The really good thing is right next to the expressway and $48 dollars isn't bad.

I would stay here again if I come back through Benton. The owners made sure I had everything I needed. And the best part was able to check in early.

It's simple and no frills. But I found it to be right place when I needed to stop and sleep. No bugs. Shower, plumbing, A. C. All worked. Clean sheets. Comfortable. Reasonable price. Thumbs up!

Great Host. Great TV channels. Clean Rooms. I will be back.

Total Ripoff! They Advertise on a Billboard $35.95, yet when you check in, no rooms of that rate are available and the parking lot to the hotel is practically empty. Then they charged my friend one rate for a queen bed and when I purchased my room 5 seconds after him, the rate went up another $5 for a king bed and said that was all they had left. But wait, the parking lot is over 3/4 EMPTY!. PLUS, the room size and experience was the same… so BEWARE, an extra 6 inches of bed cost $5 bucks but you sleep in the same space, same overpriced room. Then I find out, they ONLY offer 2, THAT IS TWO rooms at $35.95… so there is no real chance to get a cheap room at a cheap ADVERTISED price. My point is… FALSE ADVERTISMENT! It was a cheap, low rent room… we paid a higher rate than advertised. For the same money… go stay somewhere else and get a friendly experience.

Do NOT Visit unless you want to get eaten by bed bugs! The whole place looks run down, it has a bad odor in the rooms, & the service is horrible! I went to the office to not request a refund but to only inform them & their mantaince staff of the bed bugs, how you can literally see them crawling on top of sheets and the manager gets an attitude with me! Some nerve he had! I politely packed my things and left and just decided they will never get munchies business again!

Its a dump and the manager is rude and hateful. Damanded more money 3 days after we checked in because he accidentally gave us the wrong rate. BS! … I'll never stay here again… I'll sleep In my truck first…

The power went off for the whole night and morning. Lost all of our food. Room was disgusting I'm not sure how well the bed sheets were washed but everything had stains on it. Bugs, smelled funny. Was kicked out due to the power outage before check out time. Stated " no light not our fault, natural disaster no discount". Barely understand the employees. Just a total disaster not worth the price at all. I'll pay 20 the max for this s**t hole. Trust me Do NOT go Here.

Front desk was rude, stupid, combative, and harassed us even after we were in the room. Every time we would comply with one unreasonable demand in order to de-escalate confrontation, they would respond by escalating confrontation further with even more unreasonable demands.

Quality was not worth the price.

Worst. They hounded me about me being clean. In the room there were bugs and mice. Vending machine took my money. Not a fan of it.

It was one of the nastiest place there was urine in the toilet, the bed was not made. It was disgusting my wife had asthma attack because it was so nasty. When we called down to change room they said we could not and there was no refunds. We could not stay there we left and went to the days inn around the corner they had said we were the 2 set of people to do that live RELAX INN and go to the days inn. It was ten dollars more but clean room breakfast coffee. And now checking up on this we got lucky they have bed bugs as well.

The hotel was OK. Cheap yes but I am from out of town and didn't feel like going to every hotel. It was very clean and the lady at the front was really nice. Only problem they had bed bugs and made me freak out. I complained and switched rooms but same problem. I couldn't sleep. I just left and headed back home.

Nice. And low rate bueno. Y precio economico.

My fiancee and I stopped here on our move from Austin to Nashville. We like quaint little "hole-in-the-wall" places but this place is a dump. We checked in, grabbed our bags and when we opened the door to the room we knew we didn't want to stay there. We immediately went back to the front desk and politely asked for our money back. "Ash" the front desk guy refused, citing their "no refund" policy. We left without our fifty dollars, thats how bad this place is. I would rather they keep my money and NOT stay. SCAM! DO NOT STAY HERE! ***Update: I got my money back about 6 months later after much fighting with the motel and Visa. The place still s*cks.

Overall a good stay. Rooms are basic but clean. They even realize the AC blows open the curtains so there's clothes pins on there to keep them closed tighter. I like the cheap resourcefulness. There's a fridge and microwave in the room. Works well. Only complaint I would have would be the traffic noise. I left the fan on all night and was able to sleep decently. Than again what else would you expect being right off the highway. Would stay here again. We had a king bed 2 adults, and dog for 50$.

I think the review from rhi n john is a lot of lies from a disgruntled customer. If he always inspects his rooms before renting them (as he himself stated) why in the world did he rent it? This is not a 5 star motel by any means but it is certainly worth the $40 we paid for a double. It was a little dated but it was clean and the Wi-Fi worked great. There is some freeway noise but all the other motels in Benton are also on the interstate. I would definitely stay here again.

First of all, I only gave this a poor rating because there is nothing lower. We went in this place because we were looking for something pretty cheap. We walked in to our Non-Smoking room to this foul smell. We turned on the a/c and left to let the room cool off. When we came back I checked out the room. I used to clean motel rooms and there's absolutely no excuse for filth! The bathtub had hair in it and a tiny little bug turning in circles. The sink had 3 hairs on it that I counted. The mirror looked like someone had taken a wet washcloth and smeared it all over. I went to the phone and picked up the receiver to find hair under the receiver and a lot of dirt and grime. When I checked out the ice bucket, which did not have a plastic liner, it had somehting sticky at the bottom. After all of this, I took the pillow out of the pillow case to find an old yellow pillow with dark brown drool stains on it. I was so creaped out that I couldn't do anything but keep my hands to myself for fear of what I might touch. I called the desk, while holding the phone away from my ear, to tell them we had to leave and asked how to get our refund and reassured them that we hadn't used anything yet. They would not give us a refund and so we left w/out our money. This is the worst place I've ever seen. I always inspect my rooms but never dreamed it could be this bad. I went to another motel and asked to see the room first and it was OK. Please don't stay here.
