Went here for the Mother’s Day specials. The food was excellent, as usual. I’ve been patronizing your business for close to 20 years and its always top notch. The place to eat, sleep and gamble. Keep up the good work.

The room was posh. The price was right. And the late night veggie burger was exactly what I needed. Vegetarian food is hard to find in winamuca. Was really glad to find veggie food at 12am. Lola in the restaurant was super helpful and friendly. She convinced us to stay the night. And we were really glad we did. The room was so nice. The bed was the most comfortable of the whole trip. I can't wait to return! You won't be disappointed.

This review is for the restaurant only. Really comfortable seating, good air filters the smoking in the casino didn't bother me. Good service friendly attentive waitress. Food was excellent, everything on the salad bar was really good. I was impressed with the crab salad, was expecting imitation crab, it was fresh real crab! The clam chowder soup was the best I've ever had. By far this is the best casino restaurant in town!

We are repeat clients and we recently returned because we like the Inn so much. The rooms are amazing and the staff are just great. The restaurant can't be beat and gambling is great. I am in chronic pain and have severe arthritis problems so the staff are really good about locating us on the first floor for easy loading. This time, after we were in the room, I noticed some construction outside. Upon further investigation, I saw it was going on right outside our room. Fearing the worst I asked the desk clerk when the workers would begin the next day and he said, since it was hot, probably 6 AM! I told him we needed to get up and going, and we were already unloaded so leave it be. I did tell him we should have been informed prior to arrival, however — especially since we had made the reservations well in advance. Then, if that's all they could offer, we at least could have looked elsewhere. Next morning, the workers fired up their equipment at 5:20 AM! We were just beside ourselves. We made coffee, and discovered the maid had left only one cup. I called the desk and asked if some one could bring us another. No one was available. She asked if I would like to speak to the manager and I said yes. I told the manager about the construction outside, our reservations made well in advance, my health issues, and how we had not been informed of the unsatisfactory room placement. He paused for quite a long time and said "How about I run that coffee cup over to you?

Clean rooms with a full bathroom, closet, and balcony. The water is soft and a good pressure. The staff are friendly. Only issue I experienced was my room key would occasionally not read in the exterior door to get into the hallway from outside. Great place in the heart of Winnemucca.

Nice big, clean rooms. Took longer to check in than we were told, but rest of stay was great. Restaurant had great service and delicious food. Pool area is nice too.

If it weren't for the overwhelming smoke. I'd give this place 5 stars. All the employees were lovely and helpful. The food was very good.

The Winnemucca Inn is a nice change from the chain hotels. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Offers restaurant, casino (mostly slots from what I saw), bar, pool, basic fitness room, game room, on-site. Some rooms are attached to the main building while others are in a separate building so make sure check if that matters to you.

Very clean establishment with a super nice waitress. The food was cook well, my only complaint is that it was very very bland. Salt and pepper helped. I will stop in again cause I have been there before and it was better seasoned.

Stayed here for 1 night on a business trip. The room was large and clean, and the bathroom was spotless. Such a great price. A had steak and eggs at the restaurant for dinner and then again for breakfast 'cause they were so good.

A great, somewhat older, hotel. The Winnemucca Inn has a dedicated management and customer service team that make this former Red Lion Inn a great place to stay. A very nice gaming/Bar area and a restaurant with a wonderful salad bar make this place the one to stay at in Winnemucca.

It was okay. The service was a bit shotty. The people were very nice though. I always love when restaurants talk about using the finest ingredients and being healthy yet the food is other genetically modified, as hormones or antibiotics in it, vegetables are non organic and sprayed with pesticides, Etc. The casino is pretty cool my wife and I want about $45 within a few minutes cashed out and left.

Every employee was so nice and courteous. Rooms were huge. Beds were comfortable. Coffee pot right in the room with good quality coffee. Room also had microwave and refrigerator.

Great little older hotel with surprisingly clean rooms and nostalgic decor on the hall walls. Also, the staff were very nice and quick to accommodate. Compared to the other choices in the vicinity this place is definitely worth staying in.

It was a pretty decent salad bar. But service was poor at best. Watched multiple people waiting our entire visit of 45 mins just waiting trying to pay. Also multiple people were very upset from waiting a long time to be sat with plenty of empty tables and employees just standing around. Needs some management.

This is a casual hotel and casino with a pretty good 24 hour dining area. The rooms are clean and updated with refrigerators and nice bathrooms. My only complaint is that the casino doesn't pay out very well. If you gamble in Tahoe, then gamble here, you'll know what I mean. Otherwise, I'd stay here again.

I frequently travel from the Reno Nevada area to my home in Boise, Idaho. If I've gotten a late start or am just feeling too tired to make the long drive, I stay at the Winnemucca Inn in Winnemucca, NV. One late night, or rather early morning, it was about 3:00am, I pulled in feeling very tired and also very hungry. The lady at the desk was so wonderful, she not only got a room for me in record time, she also went, herself, to the hotel's restaurant and returned with a waitress to take my order. As a woman traveling alone, it's of utmost importance that I feel I'm in a safe environment. Not only did I feel safe, I felt like I was the most important guest that they had ever had! I'm sure celebraties aren't treated any better than I was. I'm so sorry I don't remember this wonderful lady's name but whenever I'm there, late at night, this beautiful blonde angel is there to take care of me! Thank you so much for your continued wonderful treatment! You are a true asset to the Winnemucca Inn. Plus it is so convenient! Everything is opened 24/7, the rooms are clean and nice and the rest of the staff are also helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

The gambling was awesome, machines paid great! It was clean and the staff was nice and the food was good too. Bed was a little hard for me but we were just there the one night so it didn't matter.

Nice people, pet friendly, rooms are clean, free drinks as long as your gambling in the casino. The service in the restaurant was good and our food was great. I do highly recommend Chihuahua Mexican restaurant down the street if you want Mexican food. Btw We came out ahead $500 in our last stay. The parking lot is kind of quirky. Definitely will be staying here again.

The service was fast and attentive in both the restaurant and the bar. Plenty of parking space. Nice location down town. The hotel rooms are very roomy and clean. I was able to gamble a little and came out 10 dollars ahead! Would highly recommend!

Price is good, food is good, all the staff is friendly from janitorial, to front desk, waitresses, bartenders, casino workers, all very helpful and friendly. The Odouls is always cold.

Love this place! Beautiful, squeaky clean rooms with comfortable beds. Way fancier than a three star, feels like a 4-star.

The rooms were clean & very inviting. Every staff member I had any contact with was extremely nice & helpful. The ONLY downfall I can mention is the casino doesn't have any tables… blackjack, roulette, etc. They DO provide a great selection of machines though.

Nothing fancy. Reminded me of a Motel 6. Was perfect to just crash and leave. They were doing a remodel so it may be better now.

Great Pit-Stop on a long car trip. Af few dollars in the sots, some food, and a bathroom break. Worn but serviceable amenities.

Near the end of town. Nice rooms, outdated but good quality decor. Unsecured Wi-Fi which I had spotty access to from my room. Casino of course, because everything in Nevada is a casino. Their air purifiers did very well to remove the cigarette smell from the casino area. Large rooms, small gym area, inside hallway access to rooms, some had small patio areas. Overall good experience, good customer service, well kept, and clean.

Nice friendly and clean. Restaurant is good. Get the players card and you will receive 20% off your meal ticket! No table games. Sports betting kiosk, slot machines are ok not the loosest I have played.

Stayed on the 1st floor, played in the casino, ate in the diner twice. Price was great, service was great, room was great. Only small complaint was having a sliding glass door directly from the room into the parking lot was a little strange, but no issues. Quick check in and check out.

We stayed here Monday because of the storm. Considering this is Winnemucca and just about everything is old, this hotel has done a lot of updating. Spacious quiet room with new flooring, furniture and baths. Loved that shower head! Beds are on the old side and our bed linens needed to be retired. No smells or stains in our pet friendly room. One problem that was so disappointing — two of our four glasses were dirty. Lipstick stains on the rims and smudges. Clearly had not been washed, just new paper cover on top of glass. Ouch, what else might not have been cleaned? Grounds were pretty and clean. Staff was great. Will we stay here again?

Nice little casino. Not that many slot machines but it's clean and staff very friendly. Within 20 minutes we were offered free drinks 3 times. Ad long as you're sitting and playing they will provide you with all the refreshments you need (beer and soda).

Hotel room was great, has a powerful shower that's was awesome, clean room, carpet was stained but seemed clean, the restaurant was out priced so we had to eat at the winners hotel restaurant down the road which was inconvenient. Overall niece room.

This is an excellent dining establishment. Or at least the Monte Cristos are good. I honestly love them so much I don't think I've tried anything else. The service is always superb as well. Even when you come in drunk in the middle of the night and are not making your best impression ever.

We stayed in Winnemucca Inn halfway through a roadtrip. The two queen bed rooms were very large, spacious, and clean. I felt very comfortable and will for sure stay here again!

Not the worst place in the world but nothing special. Definitely needs a makeover. My room smelled like a nursing home and the shower wouldn't drain. The cigarette smoke from the casino was very strong but I didn't notice it in my room. Seemed like it was the best place in town though.

Stopped by for an early dinner. Food was good and plenty.

I almost did not stay at this hotel because of the reviews, but I was tired and decided to just try it. Plus other places were booked or too expensive. But overall, I'm glad I did, because the rooms were very nice and clean and the price was good for the area. They are remodeling many of the rooms. We stayed in a room farthest from the casino and it was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and even directed us to a really great restaurant outside their own hotel restaurant. The only complaints I have are that the gym was too hot and the casino was gross (mainly because it smelled like stale cigarette smoke). But overall it was good enough that I felt obligated to write a review because the reviews I read don't do this place justice. Not the Ritz, but I'd definitely stay there again.

Worst internet possible. Can barely even browse the web. Clean and good house keeping. Only one wall outlet. This hotel would be a last resort in my opinion.

Waste of time. Walked in. Looked at the outrageous prices. Walked out and went somewhere else. I travel frequently for work and have to eat out a lot. Pretty sure I know when I'm getting boned on prices.

Burgers were good, but I had a taco salad that was so bland I wanted to reorder. Worst thing was someone walking around vacuuming.

We placed a reservation for a late night arrival and the front desk rented out our room and moved our reservation two days after our planned stay. They were horrid when it came to addressing the issue and I would highly recommend staying at another location.

Would look for a quieter place to stay.

My first experience with staying at the Red Lion in Winnemucca wasn’t much different than the 2 and LAST TIMES after that! When I went to check in the first time they didn’t have the reservations in the system that had been made for me by one of my supervisors. The rest of my trip the first time wasn’t too bad, and I won’t complain about the room this time. The next time I stayed, they had put me in the building that is disconnected from the rest of the hotel, and this didn’t bother me much until I got to the room. It’s really sad when you have a hotel that has a room with only ONE wall outlet! I was shocked and knew that it wouldn’t work as it was nowhere near the table which is where I normally put my laptop. I called down to the front desk figuring it would be no problem to move me to a different room. I explained that there was only one outlet and that I had stayed there before and I knew they had rooms with actual desks instead of just a table. The lady explained that they didn’t have any more rooms with the desks and I explained that was fine, but I wanted more than one wall outlet and would like to be moved into the main building. Apparently the front desk clerk couldn’t understand me (apparently from stupidity because she seemed to speak English just fine) and she transferred me to the manager. The manager then explained again to me that they didn’t have any rooms with a desk available.
