We’ve been on the road for a week and stayed at many cheap hotels that we thought should have been even less expensive. Traveling without reservations in the summer of 2021 is challenging, night before last was spent in our car at Sequoia National Park. Driving through Winnemucca, looking for a place to clean up and sleep, something caught my eye at this place that made me think they were above average and paid attention to details. The fresh looking, live potted hanging plants in a desert area meant that someone kept up with the property. Don’t get me wrong, the exterior is 100% 70’s retro but the room was extremely modern, clean and welcoming. The shower was awesome with above average flow and pressure. Breakfast was simple but again, well above the average of what we’ve experienced so far. The staff was nice and professional while also being friendly, Honestly I’m not ready to leave but the road is calling and there’s many more destinations on our list. Well done y’all, well done!
So happy we chose this hotel called ahead of time to ask rates my husband had stayed here before and didn’t realize it. So convenient comfortable and good value. I am legally blind and don’t need a pet friendly motel for my yellow lab service dog but glad we came here!
