The room it self was nice, and we even got a complimentary room upgrade which I was pleased about. However, the room had no fridge which I was disappointed about, and when we would call for extra towels or whatever else we needed they took forever to come. When my friends and I checked out I will admit we left the room in a bit of a mess but definitely not trashed, just some garbage on the floor. Nothing broken or anything however they still took our security deposit to charge a "cleaning" fee of $150. When I saw my credit card statement I was shocked so I called to find out what the charge was for the front desk girl that picked up briefly tried to explain the charge but when I started to ask more questions she cut me off and told me she would transfer me to accounts receivable. I thought she was rude because she didn't even wait for my response but the girl I spoke to in Accounts receivables is the main reason why I would never stay at the hard rock again! Her name was Alexis Jones, and I will admit I had a bit of an attitude on the phone with her but I also work in customer services and I would never speak to a customer the way she spoke to me, she had an attitude as soon as she answered the photo and in the end she HUNG UP on me while I was still trying to ask something. TERIBBLE SERVICE! … to sum up the hotel stay itself was average but because of this Alexis girl I would never EVER stay here again… ALSO! The Alexis girl sent me the photos of the room as to why they charged me a cleaning fee and I know for a fact that I did NOT leave the room in the state it is in the pictures. Yes we still left the room in a bit of a messy state but no where near like those pictures. My advice would be to make sure you take pictures before you leave the room because it seems like these house keepers purposely made the room look extra messy so they were able to charge us this fee… NEVER AGAIN!
