Reviews of Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino 4*
We had the best time ever! Room was nice and clean always and the staff were phenomenal!
Love the Westgate! Easy access to free parking, cool shops, & nice restaurants.
Loved the sportsbook, friendly dealers, pit bosses and cocktail waitresses, and great service from the bartenders.
Loved every moment! Very friendly staff!
Was a nice place to stay but I don't appreciate being chased down around every corner to try to sell me a timeshare they need to back off on that a little bit a little aggressive little annoying and the cell phone service in the hotel is absolutely horrible I don't know what that's from but those are the two things that I disliked.
Great service and friendly people.
Terrible terrible place! asked for a place yo eat and they made us sit there for 4 hrs about some stupid timeshare crap. Essentially wouldn't allow us to leave. Faucet was leaking. They said they couldn't fix it. Then left us with no hot water for 2 days. Then we left some items and they took them to lost and found. Took them over 30 mins to get those items back. I will never stay here again.
Customer Service goes a long way! Very friendly, very helpful, just amazing people! I feel like we became family! Loved, Loved, Loved everyone at the Westgate!
Excellent customer service, even though is a little bit old, is a beautiful resort, it has the monorail station outside, that is super convenient!
Nice hotel and bar. Great service and respectable staff.
Truly a beautiful resort. It's clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
Wonderful place to stay while in Vegas. Rooms are nice and clean. Great places to eat inside the resort. Lots of shopping too.
Terrible outdated rooms. We booked thru Booking. Com and the pictures are all nice renovated rooms. We got a scummy disgusting room with a leaking shower, no pressure, can't even be 2 in the shower. The room was so outdated I had to move lights around to be able to see something. Never again.
Great place to stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to everyone! Great pool, great facilities nearby, Monorail to the strip is directly outside the hotel so very ideal!
Great place! Wonderful staff really enjoyed my stay family friendly place!
Great casino and hotel, love the location and easy access to the monorail.
Last weekend was my fifth trip to the Westgate since Barry Manilow's Preview Weekend shows in May. This time we were here for a wedding across town, but the Westgate has become so comfortable for us, my partner and I couldn't think of staying anywhere else. The Westgate has become my Disneyland this summer. The staff is friendly. The service is great. Carol the night time pit boss at the craps tables and her crew always take good care of me. And the entertainment is o…ut of this world! With Manilow in house, there really is no reason for me to leave. Well, except for that wedding… Keep up the good work. Hopefully we'll have another excuse to come back soon!
Signed up for the timeshare while on Las Vegas Blvd, down by the M&M factory! Took the shuttle to Westgate from there, when we arrived at Westgate was told we couldn't do the timeshare share do to my boyfriend not having a valid ID. There's time from our vacation waisted already. Next, get back on another shuttle to go back to the M&M factory only to find out about 45 minutes later that the shuttle we're on doesn't go to the M&M factory. Drivers upset cause we were on the wrong shuttle and that apparently this happens more times than not! Eileen, from westgate timeshare, I thought you said you'd been with the company for a long time! Needless to say it was a shit show and all we got were excuses! NEVER AGAIN!
We went to all the hotels around the strip. This one was one of my favorites. We got a players card and they gave us some comp cash. We gambled for a while and a lady at the roulette table asked us if we would like to learn to play. She went through all the rules and was very helpful. It was a lot of fun there.
Came strictly to check out the largest sports book in town. The book did not disappoint. It was very large and in charge like I expected. The rest of the casino seemed fine. It's definitely out of the way but the monorail goes there which helps. I wouldn't tell anyone to make a special trip over unless you wanna kill time and see the massive screens in the book. Since the hotel is in my understanding largely a timeshare type venue you definitely get a less hip crowd. Less beautiful ladies and more fat old men on a free promo vacation. All in all it's a fine place and I'm sure the rooms are ok. But with so many choices of places to lose your money gambling and shopping I don't see why it would ever be necessary to go all the way over to Westgate unless you're staying there obviously.
Was a competitor and guest during the world championships of pool. Hotel was well thought-out lots of space for the competition monorail that quickly could get you around the area. Walkways to the hotel and casino little small but only because of the sheer number of people attending the event. As with everything in Vegas is a little more expensive. The options for food and restaurants a little Limited would have been nice to have some faster more casual dining. Edited to 5 stars because I sincerely appreciate that they responded, and are taking the time to check their reviews. I will being staying here again if I have my say next time I visit.
The Westgate is a well situated Resort right next to the monorail that runs up and down Las Vegas. It's a large Resort with ample room for events. I am here for the APA World Championship pool tournament and as far as I can tell it is going off flawlessly. The staff have been extremely helpful with all of our Resort needs. The rooms are a good size we have a king size bed and my only complaint would be that the pillows are too fluffy I would like to see them work on the speed of their elevators which seemed a little slow for a hotel that is this full. Other than that I gave the hotel for stars and it is well worth it.
Housekeeping didn't come until about 7pm, bottled water is really pricey. Room was really nice, staff was friendly. Atmosphere in the pool was fun. Didn't like the built in turn off timer on the TV. Would love a blow dryer in the room. Easy access to monorail. Will definitely stay here again.
Wonderful establishment for a Las Vegas discovery. Breakfast was very nice.
Great value for money Hotel
The best we have found without spending really much (we were in the period of the EOC, for which very high general prices).
The night at the hotel includes breakfast or brunch at the hotel buffet for two people, additional guests will pay per head respectively $18 and $21.
Quite spacious and well-appointed rooms, Wi Fi included for a total of 3 devices (not three devices connected simultaneously but three general devices).
A bit dispersive given the size but well stocked with elevators. SPA, of course, for a fee but swimming pool and gym open to guests.
Not exactly on the strip but not too far away, within a 5 minute walk you reach it without any problems. Friendly and helpful staff, recommended mainly for groups of kids who want to have fun spending little.
Hotel very good, the room is comfortable and spacious, clean. Pool very nice I am very happy with my stay!
Good hotel a little away from the Strip. Rooms at very affordable prices during the week even though at check-in we had a moment of confusion as we had to give us card for extra charge and bail.
Nice hotel and casino. I really enjoyed the room and the seasonal holiday decorations. The casino was nice, not too smokey like some of the others. The Hotel buffet was priced way too high but you get unlimited mimosas. There are other pretty good food option on site, and nice shops. It's not along the strip but the Monorail is close by and takes you pretty much anywhere. The staff could be more polite, but the "timeshare people" aren't super pushy. If you say no, they back off. I would stay there again.
This place is designed to cater to the crowd attending the convention center. That said… they have made some improvements over the past few years but still behind in quality you can find at other major hotels. The monorail does stop here which connects to the strip. Very quick and cost effective. The hotel is improving in shopping, nightlife and dining but this is a convention hotel.
I had a wonderful time at Westgate… This place has everything! The pool was great, the restaurants, the staff, the amenities… all top notch. There was no reason to leave the resort and Mary, the VIP host, was an absolute pleasure! I'll be sure to recommend a stay with her and the rest of the staff to all of my friends and family… I'd award 6 stars if I could! Can't wait to come back.
Recently updated rooms and stellar service. While enjoying a Convention at the Las Vegas Convention Center I stayed at the attached Westgate Hotel. I was upgraded to concierge level without asking by a pleasant Mark. The facility was clean and updated with plenty of staff available for assistance. Smaller casino floor and easy access to delightful bars. Sampling the buffet only the food was standard and not special the service was adequate. Not far but off of the strip you should consider Westgate as a destination.
I recently had my wedding there and had a difficult time organizing accommodation. I went a few days early and was so happy when a wonderful lady at the reception took interest in helping me organize all my people. I can't thank you enough for all your help REA. The Westgate is sure lucky to have such a caring person looking after their guests! You helped make my wedding GREAT!
A very large hotel with its own casino. There's always something going on here and a lot of throng. The rooms are clean and tidy. There is also a refrigerator and a safe. It is about 10 minutes walk to the strip. 8 minutes walk to the nearest bus stop. It costs a ticket for 24 hours $8. You can't get through the strip faster.
A suitable place to do events, in its convention halls there is excellent logistics and disposition for any type of activity. Its restaurants have varied menus and the buffet is economical and with very good food.
Bad & Litle After I arrived from the Outworld Sub-Zero he went to his palace but found that many of his ninjas had died, so immediately he went to see what was going on and in one of the bedrooms he discovered that his pupil Frost had awakened and was the cause of all That fuss, the traitor could only utter "SUB ZERO", and imagined it everywhere, she looks that he enters through the door while hitting a ninja and prepares for combat, the leader of Lin Kuei also prepares with his style of fighting, Shotokan, and faces him, the battle is hard but now Sub-Zero has even more power and dodges the attacks of Frost, but she fails to resist the gust of ice that falls to him like a bath of frozen water, leaving it still and motionless, practically make him an ice coffin so thick that neither the same sub-zero would be able to undo and win the battle sub-zero, the only thing he could do for her was to deposit it in one of the chambers of the palace and then sealed the entrance with a huge wall of ice is In order to have his dementia healed so that he can pay the punishment to which he should be subjected by the massacre of the Lin Kuei clan.
Note: This end is partially fulfilled, as it is true that Sub-Zero returns to the temple Lin Kuei to bury in an ice coffin frost, where he finds his armor in MKD, but Raiden never could have come to congratulate him because the facts of MKD contradict him.
One of the elite hotels with more accessible prices in the area. All because you search you can find it here. Pool. Gym. Restaurant. Casino. Night Show. Very good service. And it is a few miles from downtown and the best known hotels as I will look and Bellagio.
Westgate is located at the end of the Strip and is not one of the big flashy Vegas hotels. With that being said, Westgate is very good for the price and includes a nice pool, buffet, and traditional casino as well as a few shops and restaurants. I wouldn’t recommend eating at the buffet because there are much better ones out there (try the Wynn. ) There is a monorail right outside which is very convenient for traveling the Strip, especially at night. It is also connected to the Las Vegas Convention Center for those who prefer walking indoors; however, be warned that it is quite far—a 15 minute walk. Room service is great and the rooms themselves are also nice.
Clean and organized. We were not charged for parking. But so you charge a complex fee of $38. There are a lot of people who try to sell many services but none of us cared. The buffet was rich.
The rates are not clearly indicated even in person. There's always a hidden fee. Also the breakfast buffet is excellent, the rooms are spacious and comfortable.
Las Vegas is the largest city in the state of Nevada, in the United States. It is one of the main tourist destinations and thanks to its commercial conas and holidays, but everything to its casinos. Because of them it is known; The capital of the second orpunidades. According to the census in 2010 the city had 583756 inhabitants. Recent studies code the population in 1.951269 inhabitants. It is estimated that it is usual to have in this same figure tourists, during the holiday season that of inhabitants. Las Vegas has been the capital of Clark County since the birth of this in 1909. Most of the 7, 25 km from Las Vegas Boulevard are located on the edge of the city of Las Vegas. In 1941, they began to build large hotels that incorporated casinos with gambling. Since the years 50 extends the Musical activity in the city, as a complement to the halls of play, stars like Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis, enjoyed as a priviligada activity charging high contracts. From 1989 I exploded the construction of the hotels and it's all super luxury as well as the Westgate Las Vegas Resort that I already visit several times and for me it is the best place for luxury and total relaxation.
For an off strip hotel, this one has a lot to offer including good food at reasonable prices. I love the almond croissant at the coffee shop and the deserts at the steak house. There is also Italian, Asian, and comfort food dining choices as well as a Pizza Hut with fast choices if time is an issue. Of course there is a buffet, but I wasn't impressed by that. I suggest spending your dinner dollars at one of the other restaurants. Be sure to pay the extra for the remodeled tower, it's worth the difference including the comfort level of the bed! I slept so well I actually went home and bought the same mattress. If you have business at the convention center, this location can't be beat. It's a short walk, almost completely indoors, to the convention center next door.
I'm giving a 3 because I liked the room. Other than that I would give 0 if I could. This was our first time in Las Vegas. We walked into the hotel with our 2 young children looking for the front desk to check in. A lady stopped us and asked if we were checking in, I said yes ma'am, she said you can do so right here. Long story short, they roped us into a presentation about timeshares that took 4 hours! We were only there for a day and had little to no time to do anything after that. After claiming our "gift" they said just stop over and see that desk so they know you got your gift. This desk than tried to rope us into yet another presentation. This place is a joke and I'll be staying elsewhere next time we go. Good luck!
This is one of the places I like to bring family guests from out of town to eat and play. The slot machines there are the most recent games on market and they're very fun to play. "The Edge" stake house has a great menu that changes from time to time with great bar! There is also free entertainment.
The Westgate is not on the strip itself. It is set back a little ways towards the end by where the Stratosphere is at. However, they have a monorail that arrives every 7 minutes that can get you right to the strip and this is so worth the money for an all day pass. The hotel is neat and clean — the staff friendly and helpful. They had booked me in a double queen but when I arrived to check in they only had smoking rooms left. The desk immediately took care of the issue, upgrading me to a kind suite for the issue that I had. The room was beautiful. The only issue that I saw with this hotel is that the sink water runs a little slower than I would prefer. AND, when sitting down in the tub, it was clear that the staff had not cleaned under the rim of the toilet — things that would not have been noticed from above. But the room was well laid out, and the casino was pleasant. We ate at the buffet — GREAT Value! So many selections and very tasty. The only main drawback was that the parking was so far away from the hotel.
Food is good. Prices are reasonable. They're clearly working on updating the decor and amenities. There are no coffee pots in the rooms and there isn't much for quick food. They allow smoking, but I'm if that's everywhere in Vegas or just some places, but it's stinky nonetheless. The no smoking rooms are on no smoking floors, but I still felt like I wafted ash tray in my room every now and then.
The place is really pretty, however you pay a big resort fee, the pool is closed, and the kids that are 16, cannot work out in the gym with a adult! We are here for a volleyball tournament, it would be nice to work out! I think that is ridiculous Don’t bring kids here, and I always travel with my kids, we won’t be back! Very disappointed.
Excellent proximity to the Convention center.
I have always stayed at the Westgate Hotel I have never have any problems. I always thought it was kid friendly. But February 11th at 4 a. M. I was on the 23rd floor fire alarm went off. There was a fire on the 24th floor apparently somebody lid trash cans and trash on fire on the highway we tried calling front desk nobody answered we were terrified. We open the door to find everybody walking out. Nobody informed us or guided us down the elevator no security guards nobody was around. When we arrive to the lobby there was other people with their children blankets. My son has been and I just ran out with our pajamas. Nobody could give us no answers security said that it was okay to go upstairs but we had no clearance from firefighters to go to our rooms. As far as safety I'm sorry Westgate I'm very disappointed. We had no guidance how to leave our rooms or work to go nobody do nothing everybody was confused. I had to take charge and tell the people to stay put and the lobby till we got clearance from a firefighter's not even your employees could speak up. I feel Westgate put a lot of people's lives in danger. Very disappointed. Well I stay there again definitely not. But I do have to say the morning manager was very nice to us. We checked out at approximately 7 ish but the manager before that the staff really needs to get trained in cases of emergencies. I would not stay there with my children nor my grandchildren for their safety I was stay somewhere else.
Nice and beautiful place very linpio so as to enjoy a few hours q several days and it recomoendo one hundred.
Although not on the las vegas strip. It has a nice view of the las vegas strip. And has monoriel. It is good hotel and has a good casino. The only thing bad would be not to be in the las vegas strip.
One of the worst experience I ever had checking in.
I bought a vacation package and paid over $1300.00. They told me it would come with a 7 night stay. Plus a free 2 night stay in Vegas. (Tried to redeem the Vegas stay last year and they said they didn’t know what I was talking about and their isn’t any documentation supporting it) I was upset but whatever. My daughter is having her gymnastics competition this weekend. So I booked this trip 6 months ago. I ask for Wednesday to Tuesday they told me they only do fri-fri, Sat-Sat or Sun-Sun. So not knowing what exact day is her comp. I did Wed-Sun. And unfortunately had to eat the fees for the other nights.
Got a call from my personal concierge Tracie the week before checking in. Was super nice verify that I will be staying in a two bedroom Villa checking in on Wednesday. I told me to go to the owners check it. I get there and the gentleman said I was book for two regular rooms. I told him no and that Tracie called me last week and verify. He looked at me all crazy and acted like he didn’t believe and said sorry we only have those rooms for you. After going back and forth for a while. Thankfully I was able to get a hold of Tracie (who was off work and it was at 9pm) He spoke to the front desk and told him that no I had the two bedroom. So he put me up in a one bedroom villa, with another room for the night and said the two bedroom will be avail tomorrow.
Very nice hotel but the magician Dirk Arthur is very bad to avoid.
The hotel is very cozy and elegant. Good gym, access to the monoriel, comfortable and beautiful.
Resort fees for Wi-Fi that’s sketchy! Food 0 stars awful and pricey $20 burger not even $1 menu quality. Marketing team extremely pushy! Sexxy the show was good!
Good hotel halfway between the Streep and downtown.
Excellent hotel and very good prices. I would stay here again. Cleaning all days, room and beds very comfortable.
The room was very comfortable. Bed was good. Bathroom could be much cleaner and tolerates a renovation.
Room was entered twice in a row by staff, although I had attached to the door the sign "Do Not Disturb". The bed was made and towels exchanged. Unfortunately, it was not really cleaned (e. G. Floor in the bathroom — there were already a few stains in the room, which still existed until the extract).
Breakfast with a large selection. Yet another great potential in terms of light, healthy food.
In addition, inefficient way of admission for guests, so that on the first weekend waiting times until the admission of 12min (Saturday) and 14min (Sunday) arose around 8 o'clock.
During CES is misleading (factor 10 and greater compared to other days before and after). But this applies to many hotels in Vegas too.
Overall (if at normal prices) but OK.
Lovely, big, clean room with a large window. Good furniture, pastels. Beautiful design, paintings, lamps. Only one negative is the location far from the center. No taxi, no way.
Well located, close to the big hotels. Very good care and there are places to eat rich, buy and casino in the hotel. Was not enabled for the pool that is outside.
Hotel Casino de la serie Las vegas:), very clean and really cheap for the prestige that CEST.
My brother in law booked us rooms in October for a December stay (there was 10 of us so we wanted to make sure we had rooms close to each other). My brother in law called a few days in advance to make sure our booking was still good, and the hotel said it was. We get to the hotel… it took is 30+min to check in as they couldn't find our reservation. The manager comped us $40 bucks off our first night, so that was fine. But then… After we check in… they stated they were shutting water off from 12am-6am to "fix something". It is now 8am, we are ready to start our day and NO WATER! One of our rooms had barely any light (only two small lamps) ones air conditioning barely worked, and now the water issue. Will NOT come back to this hotel.
Muy bonito Hotel bien venida y todo el personal amigable.
Very nice Hotel well come and all the friendly staff.
Don't let the cheap hotel rooms fool you. They offer "free shows" for an obligated timeshare presentation specifically for low income people. They evaluate people by income and even if you happen to be low income. They will. Manipulate you into thinking into buying timeshares. If your on vacation don't waste your time. Enjoy Vegas. Don't fall for the "free meals" or anything.
I went to selebrar my wife's birthday to Las Vegas so we stayed in Westgate for 2 nights we had a great stay apart I went to skate to Craig Ranch skatepark.
I find the Westgate hotel, it is very good, clean, luxury and staff very friendly?
Quiet place but a little off the boulevard. The elevators are crowded by events at the Convention Center.
Love to stay at this casino! We always have one of the Sky Villas on top of the resort. With 24/7 butler service and private pool, how can you go wrong?! Just wish they had their own limos like they did back in the Las Vegas Hilton days, so much easier to get around then. Nevertheless, everyone always takes good care of me when I'm there, especially Valentino, Les, and Toby! Thanks guys!
The area is a little dicey, but it's convenient to the convention center and most everything else. Think of it as in-between the main section of the Strip and the downtown area. On site food is pretty good, but better can be found elsewhere. Parking is okay, but you're better off to valet at night due to vagrants in the area. Monorail is convenient to go between properties.
Near the. Center. Of. Conventions. They already charge the Wi-Fi and the use of the. Gym use it or not. The. Wi-Fi never grabbed us. Comfortable bed if you sleep comfortable. We received courtesies for breakfast at the. Hotel I don't know. It made Me super rich the BUFFET but it fulfilled its function.
Beautiful very cheap place full of facilities to do sports.
Our room was clean and quiet, the pool was warm and crowded. The casino was more laid back than others on the strip and the Hotel has a sense of nostalgia with the history it has. The buffet was delicious and affordable compared to others, and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The only downside were the guest services employees who would shake you down with trying to buy a timeshare there or at other resorts every time you were walking near them. But overall, staying here made our trip better after a not so good trip. If we ever go back to Vegas we will stay here, but we thought Vegas was to much for us.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The price-service ratio is just. But I definitely give it 4 stars, as the bathroom is like any single department in the USA. So it did not make me feel the full experience of being in a hotel.
Much nicer than I expected. I got a great rate through a travel site and though I always assumed the hotel was out-dated and wasn't worth my time, I gave it a chance. I'm glad I did. No, it's not Aria, but it is way cheaper. And, much nicer than other older hotels I've stayed at around here. I'll definitely come back.
Amazing, has an abundance of restaurants, wonderful pool area with view of the strip in the distance. Wonderful room, with amazing view only thing I didn’t understand that we had to pay for the water bottles that were there. I thought they were complementary but they are not. Comes with a fridge, safe, drawers and a large space closet with hangers. I love the Las Vegas Monorail, made it some conventional getting around the strip. The only cons was that we had to wait for our rooms because they weren’t clean and one of the maids took my aunts clothes because she thought it was trash and we never received it back.
I always stay at the Westgate anytime I come to Vegas! I really enjoy the hotel stays here! The rooms are nice, specially paying a few dollars extra for the signature rooms! The casino is nice, restaurants are pretty good, although the buffet can improve some of their items. But it's really nice dependable and staff is nice! Even though it's not in the strip, they do offer free shuttle service, but I prefer to use Lyft! Way more affordable compare to the Strip hotels and is comfortable, nice and a nice pool to chill as well as the gym!
I have stayed at the Westgate many times. I have never quite been disappointed nor have I been completely happy to go. I will say the hotel rooms look lovely, I like the decor and how the hotel lobby looks. They have nice and delicious restaurants. And nice Service. But I have run into lots of problems. The place is like a maze. You always have a hard or difficult time finding your room. They always change the downstairs stores or activities so you never see the same stuff twice. And sometimes don't clean the rooms. It's also old, elevators and rooms are older than you would like. So plugs aren't by the bed. And elevators have broken down.
Decent resort, but far from the best. The hotel staff on the ground floor can be irritating — they tried to stop us at least 10 times to ask if we received our "welcome package. " We stopped the first time, but after spending 15 minutes hearing about how we'd get two free tickets to a show and dinner and choosing those, they finally revealed that it was a sales pitch and that we had to attend a 90 minute seminar about their time shares. I heard 90 minutes turned into 4 hours for some people and since we didn't want to dedicate that much time when we could be experiencing Vegas, we passed. The hotel rooms were nice and clean. Because we were there just after Labor Day, demand was low and we were able to get an upgraded room for $25/night. Even with the $30 resort fee, it was still a pretty good deal. Breakfast buffet is expensive at $20 per person and not worth it in my opinion. Slot machines were pretty tight for us, otherwise I might give it 5 stars ;)
The hotel in need of some serious renovations. Beware of the timeshare sharks they are on every corner of the hotel. If you not trying to buy then look the other way! The only good thing was the comfortable bed. The room we was in the air conditioner look like the incredible hulk bent it, the TV did not work at first but they did send a repair person to fix it and some outlets did not work. The room decor is old although they said they renovated.
Very nice people. I used the spa facilities and my massage was outstanding. The lady knew what she was doing. I'm a very small person so a massage can hurt a lot if pressure is too much, that wasn't the case at Westgate spa. I forget her name but she did an excellent job on focusing on areas that hurt. I would recommend this service to friends and family.
A good hotel off the Strip. To us, as it was the last night in Vegas, Han gave a room on the top floor, fantastic view. To be remodeled a little. Hear, hear… bathroom with Bidet!
Good rooms even if dated in services. Bad Elevators.
Very nice facility with free parking. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. In the rooms there is no coffee maker and Wi-Fi is available for a fee (also in public areas). Far enough from the center.
Hotel without maintenance. Poor service. Poor cleanliness.
The hotel room was not very clean, the bug bit, the hotel security to make the record, and then called me and said an apology.
Near the Hightway so it is easily possible to access the Strip. As for the Hotel the price was attractive but I would not recommend it for a stay of more than 2 days.
First of all the frame the view is like in a movie then the room a huge suite inside shower toilet tub and sink very well maintained very very clean no noise nuisance the panoramic view of the outside beautiful pool adorable and well On the huge casino in the indoor restaurants a little expensive to my liking as well as the 5 dollar coffee shop at last very very clean beautiful hotel.
Westgate is where no matter what I feel relaxed, can sit in the sports book, which has comfortable seating and has nice sized booths for parties. The slots are loose, and the tables have great dealers who really make you feel like your partial owners. Don't forget to get full at any of their restaurants to include their all you can eat Feast buffet. Come enjoy their hospitality and maybe grab a timeshare and own a piece of this amazing place. The room and housekeeping are great… but the guests are treated purely like banks. Horrible service. The salespeople are absolutely ridiculous! We walked in from a 3.5 hour flight and were directed to check our bags because we couldn't get into our room until (? ), they never actually told us what time we could check in and get our keys. We weren't given any direction other than "you can check your bags in to bell service… room check in is in 'a few hours'" we checked our bags in and were asked if we had received our "Welcome Packet" — TOTALLY misleading. The welcome packet is a sales pitch where they try to convince you to give them a $40 deposit to hold your spot to attend an hour and half sales pitch on buying a timeshare. We didn't sign up and the woman who was trying to sell this garbage to us wouldn't take "no" for an answer and she was getting visibly upset the more we continued to politely decline. After reading other reviews online, this is a normal experience for people and its been really disappointing and VERY frustrating that we can't walk through the hotel lobby without being harassed by salespeople offering the welcome packet garbage.
Upon check in (check in starts at 3pm, we were there at 4pm) we were told all rooms with 2 beds were sold out even though we reserved a two bed room! They said we could wait around and see if one gets cleaned! Really! This was very normal to them, so we had to take a king size bed with a couch bed! Not a great bed!
We stayed overnight on our way to the Grand Canyon. The room was beautiful with very comfortable beds and a 60 inch television. The customer service was phenomenal. Anytime we were waiting in line, a worker would come up and ask us if we needed anything/help, sometimes we would receive a bottle of water! The restaurants downstairs were excellent. Unfortunately we weren't able to try to pool due to time constraints, however I am already planning my trip back to Las Vegas to stay again at the Westgate!
Comfortable stay with a distance perfect to ls expo of technology.
Recently attended a convention in Las Vegas and chose to stay at The Westgate Resort since it was located next to the convention center. The hotel itself was ok. The hotel decor is a little dated but I think that is by choice. Pool area is was nice and had a bar. Rooms were also dated. My room had a red leather couch. Elvis would have been happy. I had two issue with this resort. First the air in my room would not cool. The temps were in the high 80's and low 90's during my stay so a/c was a must. My room would never cool below 75. I reported the issue to the front desk on three consecutive days and was assured it was going to be fixed. Never was fixed. I finally checked out of the hotel a day early and moved to the Embassy Suites. The front desk clerk asked why I was leaving early and after I explained the reason she apologized but never offered to move my room or try to compensate me for my inconvenience. Poor customer service in this area. Second issue is you are constantly harassed to take the time share tours while walking through the lobby. This happened every day. The staff was very friendly through out the stay but customer service needs improvement.
Horrible customer service. Rude. Unfriendly. My mother in law had no hot water in her room and had to switch rooms. This was after paying an extra $10 for a "Premium" room. We were mislead to the wrong counter to sign us up for a time share event instead of check in. Our shower didn't work properly. And our Wi-Fi was extremely slow and would time out often. A service that costs extra. We will never come back. We will tell everyone we know not to visit.
On the plus side, the rooms were clean. Nice big comfy beds with fluffy pillows. Free valet parking. Cheap room prices. On the other hand, the walls are too thin. If you are in a room ending in — 57 (I was in 1857), ask to switch immediately, because your "neighbor" is the backside of the elevators, and you can hear the mechanical elevator noises ALL NIGHT LONG. Location is off the strip, so we drove in every time. But there's a monorail station right outside the hotel that I hear is pretty convenient to get to the Strip.
Very comfortable very good Elvis tour I loved, we spent a couple of pleasant days.
Unfortunatly I enjoyed my stay at the hotel but my room was not in satisfactory condition. The lights were practically falling over and there was hair in my bed. The bathtub was also very dirty. I may attempt to stay again if given a decent enough deal, everyone deserves a second chance but I was not happy with my room one bit.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. My bill was a little messed up, but the staff sincerely understood the situation and helped everything. The room was clean, quiet, and nice. Great view of Las Vegas and mountains. The price was great too.
The location is alright, it's quite a walk from the strip, however it does hook up with the monorail if you don't want to walk. I'd prefer to take the monorail to the strip, my legs were killing me after walking from the hotel to the strip and back. The room was clean and updated, the view out the window was awesome. We were on the 23rd floor. The accommodations do seem to be a money pit though, for instance, Wi-Fi isn't free, the gym isn't free, no coffee maker in room, no microwave in room. The coffee, water, and pop isn't free and costs $4. The food is overpriced. Except for Pizza Hut, that's probably the only affordable spot to eat here. The staff is friendly, however they aggressively pitch sales for time shares. The hotel is nice, but they have room for improvement and better customer service as far as charging a lot for simple things like coffee, pop, and water… also $10 for a club sandwich is ridiculous.
Came to meet a friend who was a hotel guest. We went looking for a bar because we weren't being offered drinks while playing. First bar closed, second bar had a bartender or bar back present sat down, and he said he couldn't serve us, he's closed, so we went to a 3rd bar. Finally got served. Ordered 2 Coronas and he tells me it's $18. WTF?! Off strip, high prices, lousy service. No thanks. This local will stick with the locals bars.
We originally booked the basic room for our stay. Our experience with our first room was horrible. It was physically nice but our toilet and television both stopped working. When we called the front desk they said they would put a work order in. We asked if we'd be able to switch to a different room or how much would it cost to upgrade and she said there were no other rooms available so we were pissed we'd be stuck in that room. Over an hour passed by and nobody came to the room to fix it. We called back and were placed on hold. I waited 20 minutes, without being checked on, and hung up because I was tired of waiting. Me and my roommate went down to the lobby to talk to someone in person and the check in line was a mile long. So we let someone at the timeshare check ins desk know what was going on and she not only moved us but upgraded our room no problem, free of charge. She said the maintenance crew had 80 work orders and that's probably what was taking so long for him to get to our room. The First Lady we spoke to should have forewarned us of that and also, why did she say we couldn't get out of that room even if we wanted to pay to upgrade but the other lady upgraded us for FREE? Other than that, I had an okay experience with the hotel. The upgraded room was just a little prettier, nothing dramatic. Not worth the extra $20 a night they charge for it. But yes I'd stay here again and just suck it up and pay the extra for the renovated rooms to avoid any problems.
Things have greatly improved at this casino from years passed. Staff is extremely friendly. David in the Sports book is great! Very friendly guy. Robert at the International Bar needs some work. His service was awful. It was great for the regular prostitute that was there, but for others, not so much. We ordered martinis and got them in a plastic cup. We had to ask for a chilled martini glass on the next one. We left after that because he refused to take our order, even after looking at us and seeing our glasses were empty. The Asian noodle place next to Benihana's was wayyyyyy over priced and the food wasn't that good. Same thing for Sid's. I had a French dip sandwich that ran about $20 and tasted like something I could get at AMPM. I stayed in a suite in the east tower. The room was nice, but ESPN did not work one night. Also the fan on the air conditioner would kick on for about 3 seconds and then turn back off again for a few minutes. This happened over and over each night. I wish I remembered the name of the pit boss for one of the nights I was there. He has been there for 30 years he said. Super super nice guy! All of the staff I encountered in the casino were very friendly.
Well the parking was free and the monorail was super close. Staff was less than helpful. This hotel is a timeshare so prepare for them to be constantly trying to get you to sign up. Everything is overpriced even for Vegas. Pool closed at six and no hottub. Very little to do in this "resort" for business travelers. Rooms are outdated and in poor repair as well.
My experience I think was ruined because of checkin and checkout. My check in took twenty minutes to check in even though pretty much we were the only one checking in at that time. I had reserved a two queen bed room and of course they only had a single queen room. I ended up having to sleep on very uncomfortable roll out bed. The room was clean. The restaurants were expensive and pretty much tasteless. Definitely not what I expected for the price. At checkout time I needed to checkout early so I called down to desk and they said everything was ok and just leave the keys. Well not being a trusting person I called again and found out I wasn't checked out. The person on the phone was rude and really not very helpful.
The staff is super friendly and helpful. Lots of stuff to do and the buffet is amazing. The room was good however some stuff was left by the cleaning crew from the previous guest so it made it feel as though the room was not throughly cleaned. After having them come in and clean again it was great the bed is comfy and had a great view. Great place to lay your head for the well morning.
3 star at best. Company held convention there. Large enough to accommodate out company but guests had constant pressure from Time Share sales people in lobby. Room are dank and dark and in need of updates. There is no free Wifi (who doesn't have free Wi-Fi these days? ) The tub ran constantly. Not a trickle but a stream! Shower tile had mildew. Lighting in rooms is terrible. They have the only pool area in Vegas that totally closes in the winter. We were there mid-February and it was close to 80 degrees. In Vegas that may be cold, but to those of us who have been living in below freezing temps since December, we wanted nothing more than to sit out by the pool in the sun… NOT close to anything. Must take cab or mono-rail to strip. Also, some good restaurants in the casino, but nothing like fast food or fast casual for lunch except the disgusting Sports Book grill. The show Sexxy is based there. Be prepared to see trailers around the hotel that are VERY racy! Along with life-size cardboard cutouts of the show girls. Not appropriate for younger ages. My advice… look elsewhere.
Burned up in hotel room. No air. Front desk said the would follow up and NEVER did. Hotel rooms look like a 1970's pimp room. No lighting and all black leather. Nothing like their website shows. Everything else was 3.5 to 4 stars, but hotel should get a zero. Will never stay there again.
Aquarium. As the saying goes-good but very.
The hotel was clean. The check in was not too pressure filled. I had to say no twice to be escorted to my room. The room was clean and mostly refreshed. The escort turned on lights for me. Had hot water for a shower. Bed was comfortable. Check out was painless. Nice facility. :)
Very convenient because next to the monorail. On the other hand a 30 minute walk to Las Vegas bld. If the rooms have been updated, the rest of the hotel keeps its appearance Elvis (you can always visit its suite).
Renovated rooms, sportbook renovated, are giving them a hand from the cat to all the hotel, you are missing the best shows and restaurants, I got a good view of the strip, convention center is an excellent option.
Pleasantly renovated hotel with modern touches. My suite contained a number of surprising items: a toaster, a full set of dishes, a dishwasher, and other items typically not provided in a hotel. Great for ordering in, especially as room service ends at the unreasonable hour of 10 PM. All told, consider staying on the strip proper or at a cheaper hotel. The Superbook and Football Central is not worth staying here.
A total deception, during my visit to Review of Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino →
The reason I am complaining is that renting this hotel for 5 days on my reserve was a room with 3 beds, Wi-Fi and breakfast included all that with 2 months of antisipasion and not respected and, reserve gave me a room with a single bed, no breakfast charge for Wi-Fi no hot water I complain to fix an and the staff told me that if you didn't want to wait for the water to warm me out of here, they don't inporta and I hung this hotel is a fraud is a lie not waste your time renting in this hotel.
Worst hotel I have ever stayed. Cheat in everything. I have booked with breakfast included for 4 nights stay and free Wi-Fi. It is a breakfast only got 1 for the whole stay and to access Wi-Fi I have to pay 25$ per day. A day have forgotten to do the cleaning. A heavy smell in the lobby of the hotel. Not alojais in this hotel, is my advice.

Worst hotel of our trip. Loud, unclean, renovations, jam, ground clearance, and hardly helpful staff.
