Amazing Family Friendly Resort!

This wasn't our 1st trip here, but it will be our last. This place has turned into a drug filled party, not for a family with kids. The reception area was very nice, staff was efficient with check in. Room was slightly dated, kitchen seemed very small (definitely one person at a time) When we loaded the dishwasher, it was very questionable as to the cleaniness of it black sludge stuff near the plug/ soap dispenser. Floor was very dirty, kids removed their shoes and socks to get ready for the pool, we quickly noticed their feet getting dirty while walking around in the room. The bathtubs had to be rinsed and cleaned, we noticed that housekeeping may not have spent time in there cleaning. There was hair and a clear mark around the tubs. The smell of marijuana smoke can be noticed throughout the facility. We smelled it in our room, the hallways and elevator and even poolside. When I spoke to the front desk, she seemed shocked this was occuring, she stated, "but it's against our policy and most areas are non smoking! " Well, sorry to tell you, but security was close to a person smoking and didn't even flinch! Way to avoid confrontation. Another hotel staff member admitted this has been happening since the COVID restrictions had lightened up and everyone just wanted to party a little (she told me this as she giggled, probably had spent some time relaxing with guest and participated in the hotels new scheduled activity for the week, pot smoking!

Just got back, it was perfect. Spacious rooms and everything you need to cook with in your room. Close to strip but not to close! Fun pool with bar, and activities for kids. Loved it!

Great location nice food the strip. Stayed in one of the r owner suites for a week. Overall everything was comfortable and the activities were great. My kids loved the water slide and pool. The only thing keeping me from rating it a Five is the approach we had upon arrival. Their concierge was pushy and even recommended that my husband and I get drunk in front of my kids. Also, The gym is so tiny with no kettle bells and limited equipment. Overall the employees in the welcoming crew were visually dissatisfied with their jobs and it showed. The activities people were AMAZING! They were happy and approachable.

We love our time share at Cancun Resort in Las Vegas. It's classy-not stuffy, and just shy enough from the casinos but not too far if you want to gamble. The pool is always (clean) and fun with a crazy slide, perfect escape for the Family. They always have discounts for shows, which are a must… but it's the quiet that we like =)

Great for families with young children. The lounge does not offer much other than regular pub food. But, the grocery store is across the street! We were able to stock the kitchen with breakfast and snacks for the kids. We were told housekeeping would arrive on out 3rd day… did not happen. We had to request housekeeping on day 4. No conditioner for hair, but they are more than willing to give you as much shampoo as you need and more. The 2 room suite was very spacious. The living/dining room are and kitchen stayed the coolest.

Rooms were nice. Pool is amazing. Had a family member stay here when they came out for a two week vacation … she loved it as well. The only complaint I have is clearly unmarked and missing directory signs near elevators that most hotels/resorts have. Nothing tells you where to go when clerk's are busy (and they're always busy helping someone, but helpful enough once available).

God I can't explain how great this place was! the rooms have everything you need including blenders two bathrooms one of the bathrooms is a double sink and a double bathtub. There's a really nice balcony, all cement nice big and safe. If you face inside the resort you would think you're in Cancun so if you're visiting Vegas you can basically do two trips in one. The restaurant food I enjoyed absolutely everything I had, the drinks are really good. I didn't have that great of an experience at one of my visits in the restaurant but they did take a percentage off of the bill. We absolutely loved the location because you're only a minute drive from the beginning of the Vegas Strip and we don't like crazy commotion in our hotel we like to go to the commotion and be able to leave so that was great you're also just north of South Point Hotel where we won quite a bit at the casino. If you're renting a car it's just down the road from the car rental place that you can take a shuttle to from the airport as well.

This place is amazing, great food and drinks and the room was beautiful and the pool was amazing.

Love the pool and water slides! Great family fun off the strip, but close enough of you really want the night life! The bar/lounge is a bit overpriced, putting it lightly. Essentially, a slushy was almost $7, and it was only 12 ounces. They call it a virgin smoothie. Don't be fooled. Service is pretty great! People are always kind and helpful!

I loved staying here. There was lots for the kids to do and some fun amenities on the grounds. It is away from the strip but not too far. The amenities were good. The room was clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back!

Despite an incident which considered moving around the property by our own request our stay was good. Large rooms with a full kitchen. Washer and dryer located on every floor near the ice machine. Use is free and detergent is available in the bathroom. A great pool with four slides opening times could be longer. The air conditioning is very loud, in our first room switching off the air-conditioning didn't help. In our second room it did work. In our case the resort fee of $25 was almost half of what we paid for the room. I still prefer rates which include all cost so you know exactly what you pay. Of you like to be right next to the action on the strip you should consider another hotel.

Stayed in a one bedroom. Basically an apartment. Clean hotel, great service. Friendly staff. Sweet pools. No smoking inside which is fantastic. No casino. Really enjoyed this family friendly place.

Beautiful! Calm relaxing vibe from the moment you walk on the property. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable spacious rooms. Excellent decor! Can swim in the pools. And one pool even has slides. Dry or tan around the pools in pool chairs or even lay in one of the hammocks. Great to come as a couple or with the whole family. Recommend it.

I just had a tour of the facilities. The staff is unbelievably friendly and try to make you happy. The rooms are extra nice with a full kitchen, beautiful bathroom, and balcony included. The 2 bedroom unit had a Jacuzzi on the balcony… Enough said and the pricing isn't bad at all. Great for families and getting away from the smokey Casinos.

We had an awesome time here! Great price for a 3 day stay! The room was big with a kitchen, nice patio, big bath tub, and great pool area! The only problem was the bath tub wasn’t a jacuzzi, so if we were to try to take a bath the water would be cold by the time it filled up. Other than that no complaints, so many great things!

Well clean and the staff was very nice, ask for Carlos, it was very helpful.

I like the location of the Cancun Resort Las Vegas by Diamond because it's not near the strip. If the family atmosphere which I love. I love the fact that they have so many things for children to do along with swimming. The rooms are fantastic they're comfortable they are gorgeous. I look forward to purchasing a timeshare from this company in the future. It was just unfortunate that we were able to put a down payment at the current time. I would recommend anybody who's looking for a timeshare to go with this company.

Nice hotel, friendly staff with even a person who speaks French (sometimes it helps…). A 10min from the strip by car, bus line in front of the hotel too. OUTLET and supermarket nearby about 3/5 minutes. Swimming pool, gym, spa, a little corner of paradise…

I only have great news about this hotel. Great customer services, great food, great rooms, etc. I would refer any and everyone to room here while you visit Las Vegas plus the drive in to town is not far so Uber was cheap.

This place is wonderful! From the staff to the room to the pool to the location. We have already planned a return trip! The drinks at the poolside bar are great! This is a great place for families!

Kids & parents will like the different pool & hammock areas. Full Bar & Lunch favorites will keep Mom smiling & Kids happy all afternoon. Great water slides for big kids & a short slide for younger kids. Must be over 42in. So most kids under 3yrs can't slide. Great day-use hangout for Club Members with children.

Great pool and large apartments. Only the timeshare Verkaufsveranstalltung on arrival is annoying.

The resort itself is really beautiful. The pools are amazing and the facilities and staff are great. It is a time-share and we enjoyed our 1 bedroom room which included a kitchen and balcony. The room was clean and bathrooms nice. It had a view at night of Mandalay bay, Luxor and strip in the distance, which was very nice. I really would give it another 1/2 … I only would deduct 1/2 for overly firm bed and lack of security in parking area. I would definately stay again.

Very pleased with the room and the service. We just need to buy the food, and it is very convenient that in front of the hotel you will find a Smith store and very close is a Walmart. We didn't fight anything.
At the time of registration you are offered a rewarding tour of a free show (that's right, it sounds like a timeshare sale) but since we didn't have a credit card we weren't eligible for that tour.
The suite had a kitchen equipped with refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, blender, toaster. And everything you need to cook: plates, glasses, cups, cutlery, frying pans, pot, kitchen shovels, food storage containers, dish soap, sponge for carving. Of course, it's very essential, like salt and pepper, sugar, tea bags.
Had a dining room to enjoy the meal with 6 comfortable chairs.
A stay with a sofa bed and an individual armchair and a TV. There was the ascent to the balcony.
A room with a queen bed and a small closet. On one side was a full bathroom which was access for everyone in the suite. This bathroom had spare paper, Kleenex, tumble dryer, and small personal grooming items such as soap, shampoo and cream; In addition to laundry soap.
The main bedroom was with king size bed and private bathroom (which had the same described above). In this room was the safe, the donkey to iron and the iron. Both had an alarm clock.
Our stay was 6 days so we were only once to clean the suite which was the third day.

Great hotel for families The pool is beautiful just a few steps from the Strip of all the attractions.

Great property. Good staff. Nice location. The rooms are great. Pool is really nice, salt water, no stinky chlorine. The bar staff are very friendly.

Plenty of room in our suite, super quiet, wonderful beds, great facility on grounds with an awesome pool! Friendly, helpful and happy staff create the unique atmosphere here! Out dated bathroom fixtures, old furniture and fresh paint with new flooring are just a few changes that could be made to rejuvenate this once amazing looking place! The large suites could house small washer and dryer units to elevate a long term stay experience! Close to grocery shopping and many retail stores within a short drive as well as restaurants! Easy to get to "The Strip" via the speedway and easier yet to get to and from the airport!

Awesome Resort! The One bedroom is like an Apartment with Living room Area, Patio, 2 bathrooms one with walk in shower ; the other with Jacuzzi tub! Also lots of storage closet space, Ceiling fan, Full Kitchen (Stove, Full Size Refrigerator, Garbage disposal, Dishes forks, knives etc, Microwave… This place is Fully Stocked Restaurant, Water Park with slides, and Waterfall set in a Mayan Theme, gym and 4 Outdoor Jacuzzis also located right on the premises; that are open year round! This place is great, because it's right of the strip close but far enough away from the Crazy Las Vegas" Hustle and Bustle"! There is a shopping center right across the street with Restaurants and Tobacco shop, Nail Parlors etc in walking distance from the hotel. This is a great place for the entire family, I really enjoyed my stay!

This is a fantastic place to take the family. There’s a grocery store across the street, plenty of space, a kitchen, jacuzzi on the balcony, water slides, great location (near a freeway exit), and super friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed the slides even though it was December. Our Blu-ray player wasn’t working, so someone came to replace it. While he was there he taught us how to use the balcony jacuzzi. The downsides: — underground parking is really limited — master shower is a death trap (see pictures) — kitchen is small — no washer/drier I’ll be back there again.

Amazing! They gave me and my family a free 2 hour tour of the resort. Nothing comparing to this amazing place. So new, clean, top notch service. I love the fact that there is no casino here, very family friendly. The rooms, pool, kids area, kichen, everything is perfect. Even the pricing is great. This will be me and my family's go to vacation spot in Vegas from now on. go cancun!

Plenty of room for the whole family. Very comfortable. The kids were in the pool and the slides all afternoon in Christmas time. The water wasn't too cold. We did not struggle to find parking.

This place is amazing first time here but definitely not my last! All the amenities are too abundant to name but I will say you will be very pleased and the staff over the top helpful. I asked an employee outside how to get somewhere and he escorted me all the way there! Now that's what I call customer service!

Went for a timeshare presentation with Diamond. Was the worst service ever! As usual with Diamond (call center). Tried to explain what our issues have been with poor service in the past and instead of assisting or being compassionate the sales rep threw jabs about our credit and affordability (based on an application from years ago) even if you aren’t buying you should be treated with respect. Wish I had gotten her name. But older white sales woman. DO NOT BUY here! Sucks that she’s a reflection of Diamond. I’m sure they are a much better company than what many of the sales and service reps are.

Stayed in a suite and each room had its own bathroom with a spa tub. Very comfortable bed with lovely bedding and pillows. All white bedding makes me feel like everything g is fresh just for me. The soap spelled lovely too. Full kitchen for cooking. Includes dished and pots and pans. Blender, toaster etc. Fold out sofa bed in living room.

Very well all and very quiet away from the casinos.

I booked this through my timeshare and was neither please, nor upset with my stay. My two-bedroom was clean upon arrival and the beds were comfortable. Since I lived in Vegas as a teenager, I knew where to go (i. E. Supermarkets, mall, etc. ), so I didn't depend on simply exploring the Strip for entertainment or food. In all honestly, Vegas isn't the place for me since I don't party or gamble. Not much more to offer if you don't.

The Cancun is an older apartment-like complex themed on the Mayan resorts. The buildings frame a beautiful pool complex with two large pools, four water slides and three Jacuzzis. A nice outdoor grilling area with a number of gas grills and picnic tables rounds it out. The fitness center has stationary bikes and treadmills with some dumbbell weights and a couple machines. Spartan but tidy. Our two room, two bath condo had an adequate kitchenette with a medium-sized refrigerator, an oven with a four burner stove top, a microwave and a dishwasher. We made breakfast before heading out each day. It's clean and pretty, but not top of the line.

Great place to relax away from the craziness of the strip, but close enough to get there quickly. There seemed to be plenty of staff at the front desk and a lifeguard the whole time the pool was open. However, the staff closed the pools or slides early because they were short staffed; although, we saw plenty of employees standing around wearing lifeguard shirts/sweatshirts. Beautiful pool and great poolside restaurant and bar with good service.

Great for families. Friendly staff, awesome pool. Rooms are dated but spacious and comfortable. Nice bed. 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons: it is overpriced. Unless you have a big family there are better/nicer places for the $. 2nd, Cancun is a Diamond Resorts property and they can't help but interrupt your stay, albeit not in an overbearing or pushy way, with an offer for something free if you'll listen to anytime share pitch. Which bugs me.

Loved this place. My room was on the first level right there near the pool. GREAT customer service. Clean and bathroom was huge and had an extra bathroom with a shower. More business/middle aged older types were staying hear (which I loved). It wasn't crowded and I felt so at home. The only thing was I couldn't get the disposal to work and a group hogged the hot tub by the waterfall for HOURS. I just wanted maybe 30 minutes in it and some pics. Wish the lifeguards could tell people to be courteous by idk the pool was the best part!

Older place. Pictures are nicer than actual resort. Friendly employees. Water slides rarely running. We return as this is our family's time share. I feel this place needs a serious remodel inside. Food is actually really good in there restaurant and not to pricey. Gift shop is a joke. Gets smaller each visit.

Amazing Resort. Very comfortable bed Suite was nice to not hear the neighbors doing whatever they wanted to do. Cool area amazing and the staff was very helpful and willing to help with anything you needed. My only complaint is low water pressure and the dishwasher and my suit was broken.

Very good resort, very relaxing, service is great as well. Close to everything on the strip and by stores. Will be back. Recommend too. Oh Rooms are big and pools is great especially with the slide.

First time staying at the Cancun resort here in Las Vegas. As we checked in we were instantly directed to a counter for a "welcome package/gift"; the man at this counter told us he would like to make our stay as enjoyable as possible and ensure our first stay with them makes us want to stay again so he offered us a free Las Vegas show and dinner at the show. We thought we'll that's great! Then he told us he would like to give us a free 4night stay at this hotel (Cancun resort) next year if we went on a "hotel tour" the following day. We also were told we needed to put a $40 deposit down on these free gifts and will release the cc hold of $40 tomorrow after the tour. Well, now I see all the red fags. It was not a "tour" it was a seminar/sales for timeshares of the diamond resorts; after 2 1/2 hours of listening to their speech and viewing a few rooms at the same hotel we are already in and being pushed and begged by not one, not two, but three different sales people after the 1st and 2nd didn't succeed in the sale to us, we did receive our voucher for the show however the "free 4night stay at this same hotel (Cancun Resorts) was not actually possible" the stay could only be used at three other hotels (not resorts) they own down on the strip of Vegas. No thank you. My husband and I came here to relax, get away, enjoy peace and quiet and not think about monthly payments, investments, contracts, etc.

Rooms were okay, tiny kitchen nook but has full sized appliances. Looked clean but there was residue on the tile from what looked like tagging out something. Like having the 2 bathrooms for a 1 bedroom. Diamond employees were really friendly. Thing to be cautious about is that you can lock yourself out on the balcony, make sure the lock is pushed all the way open or it may latch, it would be a good idea if they changed the locks.

My family and I have enjoyed this hotel so much. The pool is excellent and the kids love the slides. We love the grills there. The rooms are very spacious and clean. I'm definitely coming back.

The rooms are clean and comfortable… very spacious… the pool was relaxing and plenty of seating. All workers were very nice and friendly. Definitely will return again!

A perfect place to visit Las Vegas, although this hotel is not on the Strip, it is less than a 10 minute drive but it is mostly a very quiet and enjoyable place with all the amenities needed to spend a very good stay.

I loved the resort. There are no casinos which is what we were looking for. My one warning is be aware of the high pressure sales pitch for the timeshares. We got roped into going on one, and by the end of our two hour sales pitch the sales manager got very rude with my husband and I when we kept saying no. Don't give them too many details about yourself to work with, they keep trying to find an angle. Also, I would suggest not agreeing to the sales pitch. They try to get you right when you walk in. I gave a 4 star because I did love my stay otherwise!

No complaints here, purchased our stay in advance via Expedia and got a decent rate. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a balcony. Did not get pestered into going to any time share presentations (do not advise anyone to participate, the gift card is not really worth it). Pool was huge with multiple slides and hot tubs. Theres alot of parking on the premises but not many spots that are covered. Laundry on each floor worked out great! Had a hot tub in my room that didn't work : (. Overall truly enjoyed my stay, I highly recommend.

Great pool. Amazing slides. Good barbeques. Annoying security. Kicked us out of the pool for "talking too much to the lifeguard". The location is nice being away from the strip. Quiet.

Was a really nice place at good cost, just be aware of extra charges. They charge $3 everytime they press the cab light button. (A flashing light outside to let cabs know you need to be picked up) And I'm not kidding. They loose a star for stupid extra charges like that and the CONSTANT bugging to try and get me to buy a timeshare. Other than that, VERY nice place.

Rooms are clean and spacious. Gym is small, but enough to get a good workout. Pool area is nice and clean. It also comes with a waterfall and water slide. Activity room comes with a TV, two billiards tables, Foosball table, and ping pong table. Overall, very accommodating resort and recommended when you want a break from staying in the strip.

I love staying at this resort and I do so 4 times a year. The rooms are always nice and well kept. My niece's and nephew love the pool area and myself love to relax in the hammock. They are a awesome resort, try them out.

Cancun resort is located fairly close to the airport. The rooms are apartments like and the one I stayed had two bethroom, to bathroom, kitchen with fridge, sink and stoves. So pretty much you can cook and eat there. They provide glasses, silverware, coffee maker. So pretty much if you are on a budget you can buy food and cook there, more money for fun! Which by the way, there is a Smith's store just crossed street from it. The apartment have living room and dining room as well. Hope it helps somebody.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and forgot a special pillow in the room. It was a $200 pillow and we didn't get it back. They simply said that they didn't find it. I bet one of the cleaners has been having good dreams sleeping on this pillow! How impressed we would have been had they actually set our pillow aside, knowing its weight is far from any normal pillow they use, AND knowing our pillow covering was, obviously, not belonging to the hotel. How sad that what "should be" normal behavior, now, has to be considered "impressive" and "outstanding" service.?

Cancun Resort in Las Vegas was the perfect setting for a luxurious, relaxing weekend. The accommodations are great and the concierge is very personable and helpful. Very nice pool. The resort is an ideally short distance from the hectic atmosphere of the strip. Cannot beat the value.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TAKE THE TOUR! I took the tour on 2/13 so it was very recent, I told the lady that I was not interested, and no she could not run my credit, she said fine but handed me a paper requesting my social security number, I asked what it was for she said to process my gifts, I asked about the small print at the bottom saying that they could run my credit, she informed me that because I was not going to buy that they wouldn't run my credit, it is just for their records for the gift. I just received notification that they did indeed run my credit. They lie. Don't do the tour, the gifts are not worth the hassle. I had to tell 3 people no before they would let us go and the gift was a certificate to a restaurant that turned out not to be that good. Just enjoy your time on the vacation. You will be happier thay way.

Location is decent. Plenty of local stores around and not too far away from the Las Vegas strip. Rooms were excellent and spacious. Nice pool area and something to do for the entire family.

My visit to the Cancun Resort, as always, was great. They have excellent customer service and the resort is besutiful. I love the lay out of the rooms and how open spaced they are. I would highly recommend anyone to stay there.

Great resort for our New Years trip to Vegas. We wanted a place that was quiet and relaxing for our place to stay. This was perfect, and it's only a 10 minute ride to the middle of the strip. I'm sure this place is bustling during the summer with the large pyramid and pool.
