Wow where to start? Broken toilet seat, no shade on the exterior window which is right under a mercury vapor lamp lovely yellow light all night long in your face. Management brand new doesn't know what the hell to do. Ask them what the hours were for the quote laundry was told to read the sign on the door the sign on the door says keep this door closed at all times and the door was locked. If you're looking for a cheap motel this is for you.

The room is clean and very roomy. Has microwaves and mini frig which I always look for when getting a room. The staff is very nice and accommodating when needed. It's an old Motel so the outside doesn't look like much but for the money it is worth the stay. Rooms in the back are nice and large. I'll stay there again.

This is your basic roadside Motel. It is centrally located to many things to do in Elko. I spent Mother's Day weekend at this Motel I was able to walk to the Cattleman's Casino, to several restaurants over the three days and the northeastern Nevada Museum. I had several conversations with the motel owner. He was very friendly and gave me several tips on where to see the sights and info on local restaurants in Elko.

Small privately owned motel. It's an old building, but the people are really nice, and everything is spotlessly clean and well kept. Bed was comfortable and clean. Very nice for the price!

Would not allow late check-out, charged me an extra $50 for late check-out after I stayed there for a week. When my co-worker's toilet clogged up he was told "you need to fix it" No deadbolts on doors, rooms could be easily broken into with credit card / driver's license.

This place was horrible. They had bugs badly. Me and my children were covered in bites overnight. Very rude especially toward women. Rooms were dirty and not kept well on maintenance. One oof the workers seemed racist even barging into a room with a gun because the tenants over slept past checkout. Didn't like children well either. These owners should be out of business.

Aged, but quiwt, clean and tidy and with everything you expect to have for such a fine price. Comfortable beds, with warm bedding.

Stayed here right before moving my family out of state. Staff is wonderful, never had a single problem. Would stay here again.

Upon walking in the apartment there was a wierd smell in the room. The room is depressing because it has green carpet and low lighting. Cheap to stay here obviously you get what you pay for.

Everything was great for price! Room clean, big size, good people at front desk, good price! Why pay more for just one night!

Small, clean, quiet motel for a competitive price. Beds are firm and comfortable (they feel better than they look). No amenities or breakfast. Motel offers DIY laundry machines, free ice, and free Wi-Fi. The rooms include a minifridge, a microwave, a phone, and a TV. This is a motel for people that need a place to sleep for a good price — Not for people looking for a hotel experience. I would stay again.

Asked us to switch rooms because "no towels" after telling us that my wife's dog is not a service dog because he barked once when the manager came up to our door right as my wife was coming back from walking the dog…

Clean older motel. Good location. Friendly and helpful owners. Great prices. Clean laundry room. Highly recommend this place for people who prefer mom and pop places over chains and vintage personality over bland. Also has good parking for our 23 foot RV, Wi-Fi and flat screen TV with direct TV and hbo. Coffee in morning. Will definitely stay here again when in Elko.

Clean, quiet, reasonable rates and fairly nice room for an older motel. Being partial to smaller motels over the large noisy chain hotels it suited me just fine. Would stay here again.

I've been here for a month and it's a nice place! And the owner is awesome and really helpful.

I'm glad others didn't experience what my husband and myself just did. The owner was rude, he came out cussing my husband and we were going to get a room there, but after all his cussing and yelling he started spitting at us. He is the rudest man I've came across in nevada. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone, if you dont look like you might be a somebody, then you most likely will get cussed spit at and callecalled every name under the sun. Bad service and he was the only one we even dealt with. Anyones else that stays there I hope and pray you have better service then that. God bless yall.

The owner was yelling at his kid to shut the f*** up when we checked in. It was freezing in the rooms, and there's so much activity at night I couldn't barely sleep, activity meaning people kept walking in and out of the room next to us. The owner was just plain ride. This place has gone down the toilet not recommended. Did I mention my kid for bed bugs from this place… not okay.

For the age of the hotel, I was impressed on how well the upkeep was. We stayed in an older outdated room, but twould next to is was in the process of being remodeled. The location was amazing. It was within walking distance of a few nice restaurants, gas staion/convenience stores, and the largest park in town. The only thing it was lacking was a swimming pool that a couple other hotels did have. I would stay there again any time.

It was ok. Mattress was rather soft and the room was super bright come morning, so I don't feel like I got quality sleep.

My husband stays here for work often and they are responsible in their price, very helpful staff and always willing to go the extra mile.

I did not stay overnight as I was just visiting a friend but the room was clean and comfortable.

The bed is super comfy, the staff is wonderful and the weekly rate can't be beat. My husband and I tried other "cheap" hotels, like the Economy Inn and Super 8 and felt uncomfortable.

My boyfriend and I stayed there for a few weeks on an out of town job. At first everything was great minus a few minor problems here and there until we noticed the room had mice. After setting multiple traps we learned there were! SEVEN MICE! in the room. We were understanding with the owner as he seemed to be unaware of the problem until he had the audacity to pretty much accuse us of BRINGING them with us. Thus implying we are dirty people, which is NOT the case at all. They expressed little customer service and it wasnt until some intense arguing the we got another room and he comped the remainder of out last week. We might have been able to look passed it being we are understanding people and things happen but we were truly offended by his response to us in regards to how they got there. Needless to say I will not be going back.

I drive OTR for a living and needed a place to sleep until my load was ready for pickup. The people who run this place are very friendly and accommodating! The room was clean, and even came with a fridge and microwave. After driving 2300 miles across the country, they allowed me to check in early and get some well needed rest. They even have a laundry room on site. Great experience overall, and the most personable people running the place. Would definitely stay here again!

This place is just awesome The most friendly people I've ever met in Nevada. The place is nice, neat and cozy I did not use the TV or Wi-Fi thou, I had a non smoking room with clean carpet, comfy clean beds and clean bathroom with hardwood floor. Very affordable.

The Holiday Motel is the perfect mix of clean cheets, wireless internet and old motor court simplicity. The owner was delightful, helpful and considerate. I love road trips and do not enjoy loarge hotels. They are impersonal and pedestrian. So, I was very pleased to find the Holiday Motel. It's a basic, modernized, well-managed classic. Thanks.

We were looking for a simple, cheap place to crash for the night. Perfect. Under new ownership from the time of the older review. These folks are sweet.
