We stayed at the hotel last friday and sat night. My husband and me had a great time! Kids loved the pool. Lady checking us in Friday morning was a little stuck up but all in all we loved the place and will be back again.

I get a first-hand look at the new renovations even though I don't know nobody but I bet you they're happy when theycome here and see the new look that makes me feel good.

We stayed here 4 years ago when it was owned by Chase. We reserved the 2 bedroom suite with our kids and really enjoyed our stay, so we decided to go this year. We made our reservations 6 weeks in advance for the 2 bedroom suite. We called the day before our departure to confirm our reservations and was told they had our reservations for 2 days in the 2 bedroom suite. When we arrived to check in we were told by the desk clerk that no 2 bed room suite was available. I let here know that I had booked 6 weeks in advance and also called the day before to confirm and was told that they had my room. She then told me that the people in the room the night before decided to stay another night. I told her that was not acceptable and asked to speak to a manager. A manager came to talk to me after being briefed behind close doors from the clerk. He comes and pulls me off aside and says the clerk was misinformed and it was due to the A/C being out in my suite that it was no longer available. He then offers us a single room. I explained I have my kids and dog with me, he then offers to put us in 2 single rooms by each other… If it wouldn't have been that we had our dog with us we would have went look else where for a place to stay. Here is the list of things that went wrong during our stay: 1. Put us in our single rooms — we had no electricity (my wife &I) 2. Then had to move to another room, once we were in the room realized A/C wasn't working/maintenance came repair.

Pretty solid hotel. Very dog friendly. Full kitchen. Friendly staff. Full hot breakfast!

Wonderful Place to stay. Updated Room, very clean and organized. The home environment was very comfortable. All the staff and current contractor's on-site were some of the most nicest people I have ever met. Great Job!

The hotel has so much potential to earn a five-star rating. The first room we were in was recently renovated according to the front desk. It had no air conditioning, and the TV would not turn on. Also the carpet was heavily stained. They moved us to a new room, which was unrenovated and this seemed to be a couple degrees nicer than the renovated room. We noticed the water smelled strongly like sulfur or bad eggs. Thinking it would rinse out after the water runs for a few minutes, my wife took a shower. The smell never went away and the water turned her decorative (not real silver) ring rust colored by the time she got out. This is only worth mentioning because she has worn it in the shower countless times previously, and it has never shown signs of corrosion. The spacious rooms are nice, but if everything you use in the rooms is in poor condition or unusable, you may as well be staying in a construction site.

Attractive outside & nicely landscaped. Nice lobby w/ cathedral wood ceiling & lots of glass. But our room is shabby, greatly in need of renovation. Carpet is badly spotted, furniture is "musty, " lamp shades are askew, closet doors are almost impossible to slide. Bed is comfortable & clean. Two TV's (bedroom & "greatroom"), kitchen area w/ dishes could be nice, but silverware is 5 knives & 1 teaspoon! No dishtowel or cloth. The mirrored wall is a nice touch. Toiletries are up-scale. We'll not economize in Baton Rouge next time-will spend more for a dependable name hotel.

Too many negative things to list. Just don't stay here. Here are some key words as to why you shouldn't stay here: 1. Dirty 2. Sketchy/fishy/suspicious activity 3. Unprofessional 4. Illegal The manager seems like a good person that really wants to turn things around for the place and paid for one of our nights when we explained to him our experience. The place really does have potential. But the staff and whatever is going on in the other rooms is something you don't want to experience. My review is based off my experience a few months ago so hopefully it had changed since then. Pros are that it's centrally located and there's one room (of the many I saw) that looks very nice. It's two floors and it's sort of a loft kind of apartment with the bedroom overlooking the living room. Seems like the only updated and cleaned room. Go over to the room across and it seems someone had been living there for months with a dirty refrigerator and a mess on the kitchen. I'm leaving out many details because it is just too much to write but you should read more recent reviews if you really want to find out how it's currently doing as my review, while I just posted it, is from early December 2017. Hopefully they have turned the place around since then.

In March I booked a 2 bedroom suite for a 3 night stay in June. In April, I reserved an additional room for the same weekend. Both were done through the official company website. I received confirmations and receipts for both reservations. When I got there, I was told no more suites were available. The manager offered me 2 one bedroom suites and said he would only charge me for one. I stepped outside to see if this was ok with the other people staying with me and when I got back inside the manager told me he had sold my rooms while I was on the phone. I don't think anyone should ever do business here again.

The Chase hotel is above anything else I've experienced. This hotel is set up like a home with a complete kitchen equipped with dishes, pots and pans, a dish washer, stove and much more. We had a fire place and two independent bed rooms with full bath in each! There was also a 42"TV a bar and so much more. Thank you Chase Suites for everything!
