Ms. Betsy is beyond exceptional. Everyone here treat you like family and is very helpful with everything. If they don't know they try to help you resolve the issue and come up with a answer. The cleanliness is so relaxing and energetic. Breakfast is beyond gracious because they offer different breakfast items from bagels to yogurt to waffles. I stay here EVERY MONTH, ONCE A MONTH … The price of the room is very reasonable and it's even cheaper when you join the hotel savings reward program through Wyndham Rewards (where you are eligible for free nights)

Do not stay here. I would have rated this a zero if it were an option. Disturbingly large number of mystery stains on all upholstery. Random hairs in bathroom. Non working ice machine. Most disgusting… as I passed the laundry room going to the vending machine, there eas feces, I can only hope is was dog and not human, smeared under the door. Do not stay here!

This place was one the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. There were roaches in the ice. The comforter was dirty with something brown all along the bottom and there weren’t any clean ones. We had to use a mattress pad to cover up with. The Wi-Fi didn’t work. The breakfast was something to be desired. Im really upset that I wasted my hotel points on this room for a funeral. I looks great on the outside but looks are deceiving. The hotel clerk was very nice though and I didn’t want to give him a hard time because he was working long hours. He was there when we checked in and again the following morning. I don’t think he was to blame for the problems with the hotel but this hotel needs to correct these problems. I wont be staying here again!

Room small, can hear neighbors,. Curtain won't shut, TV won't not work, carpet was nasty. Bed was nice and bath clesn the night front desk was very nice and helpful. The whole facility seems to be old and in need of update. They will be offine our radar for a while.

Better than a motel 6 but not much better. Plus issues came up like leaky shower plumbing, no shower curtain. Don't stay in room 122 unless they fix it. Staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast in the morning was decent. Usual motel breakfast consisting of eggs, sausage, toast, cereal, etc. It's a little hard to see from the main road so make sure you know where it is.

The rooms are much smaller then the advertising pictures, but the beds are not uncomfortable. There is an outdoor pool, though when we visited it was much to cold to swim. The continental breakfast was a box of muffins from Sam's and yogurt that was frozen solid; there was coffee, but no milk or juice. We were two adults, but if you have kids this could be a problem. We were only staying one night as we were going into New Orleans to catch a cruise ship early the next day, at about an hour from the Port of New Orleans it was convenient. If you are looking for a nice vacation spot, this is not it. If what you want is a relatively inexpensive room for a night, it's okay. We will not return in the future though.

I hope this didn't repeat. It's super for the price. Beds are amazing. They need to empty public trash cans more, but the staff was nice, my bed was so comfy, and it was actually CHEAP and not gross or dangerous. Makes me wish I didn't book that expensive hotel in downtown NO…

Adequate, but the bathroom could have used some help. I appreciated the breakfast but would have loved some yogurt and a few healthier choices. Good coffee!

I had to revise my 2 year old 5 star review. After a horrible stay in another city I just knew I could book here, the place was clean, staff was nice… Checked in tonight and there was a spider on a pillow, hairs and garbage behind the mattress/wall, the bath tub floor is disgusting and the second floor is uncomfortable and hot. Same thing others complained of, smells in the hallway and slamming doors. We won't be back.

Have stayed here many times in the past. Although the staff is always friendly, the hotel is going down. They have not kept up with simple repairs and periodic deep cleaning that hotels need. This stay was 3 nights. On the second, we were kept awake by slamming doors and what smelled to be marijuana in the hall coming from the rooms slamming doors. In addition, someone left their dog in their room as they went out. The dog apparently was scared in a strange place and never stopped barking. I have stayed here because if the convenience when visiting family. But, after this stay and seeing the current condition, I'll consider other hotels on my next trip to the area. Perhaps it's time this hotel gets new management and things can improve to what they were before. We had to ask for our room to be cleaned on the third day. Apparently it's not customary to clean rooms daily, which explains the condition this place is now in.

My wife and I had planned to stay three nights, but changed our plans and stayed only one. The rooms were tiny — "micro" indeed. Our first room was barely larger than a backyard shed. It had none of the amenities that are common in most hotels; no fridge, no coffee pot, no towels in the room. We upgraded to a suite just to get the basics — and were told to take the towels we had asked for to our new room. This suite was somewhat larger and had a fridge, but the smoke detector had no battery and the fire sprinklers looked damaged; the eschution plate hung on the sprinkler frame. The room was dirty and in poor shape. An upgrade to the management and facilities are badly needed. Would not return and will be hesitant to try other "microtels" on future trips.

The rooms are not clean and have cameras inside the rooms violating the privasidad of the tenants Llegamis and when we discovered everything we went fast there we do not know cin that end are violating the Privasidad D people who silo want to rest There.

Not the nicest microtel I've stayed in. Hotel was dirty and bathroom and sheets were stained. Beds weren't very comfy. The staff were friendly, but the place shows wear and tear.

Room was clean, staff was nice. But the room was smaller than my college room for 95 bucks with Tax. Dont stay here unless you are by yourself. I have paid way less for a better room that is larger. Was okay with staying here as we stayed at another nice Microtel in Alabama for 60 bucks that was twice the room size. Wont be coming back here. Update — after walking around the room we noticed the bench seat was covered in filth. And a layer of grim was on the sink and bathroom floor. Hopefully management can make this right by contacting us and fixing this.

Terrible, please read more current reviews. This place has gone down hill in last 2 years. Rooms are hot and nasty. If you like dust, mold, room like a sauna, and bad costumer service then stay here because this is what you'll get.

Shower curtain bar falling off the wall. No light worked when entering the room and flipping the switch to "on". AC was barely cool enough to sleep in the room (set on high cool at the lowest temp. ). The hotel and sign is difficult to see while driving down the street. Drove past twice. It was okay, but nothing to make me want to return or recommend to a friend.

Have stayed at this location twice before and never had a problem. Great beds and great staff. Safe place. Have to key card your way in at night. Breakfast is good and lobby area is spacious. Plus waffle house is 1 min walking distance max! Would definitely stay here again.

Truly a fantastic experience staying there. The staff were exceptional and created a family like environment. They learned the residents names and were so personable. I left my 'readers' there on accident and they tried to hunt me down to let me know. And when I called to inform them my purse was missing, they turned their hotel upside down looking for it. I stopped by to recover my glasses and they were genuinely concerned about my purse. So warm and authentic. HIGHLY recommend this hotel.

The room is small but very clean and perfect for our needs. The bed is a little too firm for me but my husband says he loves it. The area is great because it's within walking distance of a lot of stuff including restaurants. The staff is very friendly and are eager to offer assistance anytime and are very helpful. Would stay here again if came back to this area.

My experience was great. Our vehicle stopped on the interstate and this was the nearest hotel. The front desk receptionist Harrison helped make this process effortless being we were tired. He even provided us location and hours of the nearest auto shop. The general manager heard what happened to us and she offered her assistance. The staff here is just remarkable. I will never forget the kindness I experienced so please put this hotel on your list if you need a nice and clean place to stay.

The lady working the front desk worst attitude and customer service EVER! First off i, Was not given the room/suite that I reserved (and paid for)! Was spoken to as if I was lying about my reservation until I showed her my confirmation email. She Still did NOTHING at all to even attempt to accommodate that which I reserved! She was VERY rude and unprofessional as of I was bothering her! Then she told me of still be charged a night stay if I cancelled (even though they didn't give me what I asked for). Then to piss me off more I asked for late check out and she flat out responded 'no, I'm too busy'. I am highly pissed off and my kids and I were extremely tired after this 4 and a half hr drive to get here. Only for it to be a waste of money for a VERY cheap quality hotel… And here it is 11 pm and we can't sleep for the LOUD stumping and jumping going on over our head… EXTREMLY PISSED OFF!

After losing everything in the flood we came here and were treated like family, great for the kids… breakfast, pool, exercise room, laundry room, free Wi-Fi definitely would stay again!

Room was nice. Clean. Handicap access was difficult. Key card wouldn't work on closest door to our room.

I stop here every time I go home. I love, love, LOVE this place! So quiet, clean, and close to everything.

It's small but cozy! Our room was all we needed for my son and I to stay over the Labor Day weekend. Good location. Very close to the highways. 50 minutes to New Orleans. Staff was super nice and it smelled clean in here. Bed was comfy and the pillows were perfect! I usually have a hard time sleeping at hotels but found myself passed out every night we stayed!

Easy check in with William's great hospitality. We got a first floor room as requested. The grounds are nicely kept and the rooms are clean and smell good too! Great shower size and hot water with good pressure. Awesome place to stay! Will definitely stay here again and will look for other Microtels when we travel.
