Bed bugs, horrible disrespectful service, the housekeeping steals whatever they please, staff usually intoxicated or high, not a good area for children (drug deals and escort rooms in the back of the hotel)

Dirty, dirty, dirty. Bugs in room. Fridge was very nasty. Looks like they tried to upgrade the bath room (Horrible job), Then forgot to clean for awhile. Way to expensive for this dump! Wish I didn't have to stay here, but that's how it goes sometimes. Please never waste your money here. Staff was rude.

After checking in, we realized our room key didn't work. Went back to the office and the guy came and let us in with his card. He said he would give us another one in the morning. Got into our room and a huge cockroach was running across the wall. Turned on the a/c and it stunk pretty bad. I should've left then but it was late and we were tired. Got up the next morning and got another key. Still wouldn't work so for 2 days we had to get someone to let us in. Had no remote for the TV so we could only watch one channel. Definitely won't be staying here again. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

TV didn't work… Man blamed. It on provider but we could hear the TV nextdoor on… Rooms slightly outdated bathroom was newly updated and clean. Carpet was kinda gross.

I needed a room late at night. Walked up and got a room very quickly. The room was very basic. Bed, shower, TV, mini fridge, microwave, table, and some chairs. It was clean and did not smell. The bathroom was clean as well. It was a fine room for a cheap price. Nothing that stands out, but it was clean, cheap, and didn't seem unsafe.

Poor service from clerks and maids.

Clean layout but employees are rude they bang on the door at 10 in the morning.

Never again. Bad. And I mean very bad rooms.

Got sht service, had to ask for a new room because I was given one someone had just slept in. And got fussed at by the manger that it has been cleaned but bed wasnt made and used towels.

Very friendly service and nice newly redone rooms. New tv, nice pool, wireless internet, granite bathroom fixtures. I thought it was really nice for the price. Highly recommended.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. I got the biggest bang for my buck. They have recently renovated their rooms. Spacious rooms with Wireless internet all round the hotel. Easy access to Walmart and it is located in a central location. Their service was excellent and were very appreciative to our comments I would return to this hotel and recommend it.

The room smelled really bad. My wife started spraying air freshener as soon as she walked in the room. The shower was dark. The bath towels were about as big as a big hand towel. The air conditioner was on a timer. I have never been in a motel where the air conditioner was on a timer. Talk about cheap! The air conditioner went out and after getting fussed at by the mangager and telling me to reset it (come to find out that water got into the circuit board), he left it unplugged while we left for awhile. When I returned to the room later, the unit still was not working, When I asked not to be charged for the night that the air conditioner was not working, the manger told me that I should have brought the key back in the middle of the night to not get charged. If ever you are in Monroe, DO NOT go the Budget Inn on Louisville Ave.

The rooms smelled, the shower is too dark to see in and the curtain doesn't even cover the door, the toilet clogged within the first hour of being there, beds were uncomfortable, you can see daylight under the main door. It gets one star becuase the employees were very nice and helpful.
