Nice room. Pleasant and competent staff. Made my stay comfortable and well worth the reasonable cost.

It’s ok I stayed here as I have a dog. It was clean. Bed was comfortable and it look like they are remodeling. The staff it’s friendly. Big rooms. It’s good for one night and passing by like we did.

Very nice… room was nicely decorated and clean, bed was comfortable and the shower was soothing. Breakfast was hot and tasty. Lots of electrical plug-ins which is not the norm so thank you for a very pleasant overnight stay.

This is the review to read. Best inn & Suites is one of the best upgraded hotels in town. The first floor actually had queen size beds, most places in Louisiana don't. The bedroom was spacious and had a bathroom door that looked handicap accessible. Typical breakfast, with crappy instant eggs, Bengals or waffles were best. There was a pool, we just didn't get a chance to use it. Right next to a few new gas stations and the highway. Stay here if you your just passing through.

Great, affordable place for an overnight stay! My husband and I got a second floor King Suite with a living area. We were happy that any room was dog friendly with just a $20 pet fee. It was really nice to have two TVs, a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and working hair dryer. The pool was very clean and the laundry facility was convenient. The fitness room was under construction though. Our room had two towels, so we asked for more to swim. Our bed also didn’t have a comforter, but we were able to ask the front desk for one. The fan in the bathroom was occasionally squeaky, and the shower head wasn’t anything fancy — the hot water was great though! You get what you pay for, but compared to other hotels in the area I think it’s a wonderful value. Included self-served breakfast! Was much more food than I expected. And the employee who was attending the breakfast bar was exceptionally nice. Also, the inn is very close to the mall — we walked to Olive Garden that night and saw a movie at the AMC the following day. Overall very satisfied, but don’t expect too much.

The floors were coming apart. The room smelled moldy.

The rooms look nothing like the internet, then they gave us a password for the Wi-Fi on Thursday and Friday afternoon we couldn't connect because the password was changed … Will not be back…

I found this place by casualty one day under a very bad storm, best experience ever. I like the place, super clean, great breakfast and good service.

Nice stay after long hours on the road with toddlers and teens. I appreciate the staff honoring an online offer that wouldn't allow me to reserve a room online. Friendly staff rounded out our stay. Thank you!

Excellent heater, Wi-Fi, TV and cable. The front desk lady was so nice. Adequately appointed and comfortable.

We ended up here while evacuating from Hurricane Irma they made us feel very welcome and they had a very nice breakfast we enjoyed our stay.

It was clean, pet friendly, breakfast not good. Stale biscuits, and ran out of eggs and sausage.

This is not a best western hotel. It's Best Inn. It is dirty. If you tAke a shower your in water past your ankles. Beds are very uncomfortable. Two gueen beds and only two towels. Found used bandaids in shower dirt on floor under garbage can. Walls are dirty. Tissue paper stuffed in peep hole in door. Owers last name is Patel. Will stay some place on our way home in the spring.

Only giving this a 1 because it won't let me go any lower. I will never recommend this place. Night staff was nice but the morning staff has been so awful. They walked in my room four times without even knocking and the last time they were shining a light on my face talking and laughing. I am so angry and upset with this place. There is water leaking from the room upstairs and the ceiling is black from all the mold. It's disgusting and smells terrible. My allergies have been really bad from the mold and I think it's making me sick. Also the bathroom door doesn't close and the door to our room won't even lock.

Two of my children and myself were in the pool for maybe 10 minutes when the manager told us that there were too many people in the pool. Talking with him after changing clothes he tells me only two people were allowed in the pool because other guest have taken advantage of him before, but he would " allow " me a couple of hours. Needless to say I will not use best inn and suites anymore. I'm a very understanding person in most cases but my daughter was very upset about having to get out of the pool.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is very courteous. Will stay here again if ever in the area.

This is NOT a BEST WESTERN, it formally was but now is owned independently and renamed BEST INN & SUITES. Just to confuse the public!
Staff was beyond Rude, Especially Vicki (manager). We were attacked by an evicted tenant directly under us after we asked that they becareful not to slam their van door into our heels. I notified the front desk (Vicki) and told them now the other tenants were arguing between themselves and my fiancé. Once the tenant in the van said he had a gun and reached under his seat, we all retreated inside our room and I called Vicki AGAIN. She seemed less than worried and said the cops were on their way. After everything was contained/searched and the tenant left we all started to calm down and relax. That's when VICKI called the room to inform US that the owner asked that me and my family pack our things and be out by 12:30 (mind you she called after 11:30). I was dumbfounded! I asked to speak to the owner and she denied me. Needless to say >>>>
DO NOT STAY HERE NO MATTER WHAT!

Booked this hotel on my way back home, Had a nice stay at this hotel. Spacious room clean and comfortable, friendly staff. I would recommend to all my friends and family.

Very nice and clean awesome staff the front lady for breakfast was awesome with my son while he was eating the beds were very clean fresh sheets fresh towels I will stay there again I loved it.

The only thing good this place HFA s going for it is Ms. Vicky at the front desk. Before I made my journey to LA for business I called the hotel a few times to ask questions and make reservations. Vicky was the only person that answered the phone each time. Upon arrival while Ms. Vicky definitely made me feel welcomed the hotel was nowhere I wanted to stay. It NOT a hotel or a Best Western anymore for starters. There is an element of people there that seem to live in the motel. It loud with noise from other guest being rowdy all times of day and night felt like anything could happen at any moment. If the other guest were quiet the train and expressway near by definitely filled in moments of temporary silence. The room was absolutely dirty with old dirty furniture that I wouldn't sit on. The ironing board had some brown stains on it that made me change my mind about trying to iron. The floors, walls, light switches all need either paint, or a good scrubbing. I hardly slept the entire time I was there from feeling completely uncomfortable from the motel room being filthy to the noise level and praying that the tenants would settle down for the night. I checked out a day early and drove home 11 hours rather than to stay another night.

Stayed here several times before when owned by Best Western. Place seems to have gone down a bit. Rooms had a mildew smell to them. Door to room wouldn't close, but hotel booked so we couldn't be moved. Best things about hotel other than some familiar faces include location and surroundings. You can walk to several places to shop and eat. New owners need to step up game to bring motel up to par.

We had a restful night and the staff was excellent. The room was big, beds clean and Queen sized, had a full couch in a different area of the room, two televisions, microwave, fridge, clean, fresh towels, Double locks.
Yeah, it was safe and well worth your stay.

I wouldn't say it's the worse place but safety is a big issue for my family and I. I didn't feel very safe here. I was waiting at the front desk watched the guy working walk out leave the door open then watched a guest walk in and make her own room key then walk out. How can you feel like your things are safe if any one can walk in and make a room key. Will not return and will not recommend anyone stay. If you do stay just bring your own towels they do not have any extras.

Great service, clean rooms, nice pool. Could use some updates like shower heads, etc. Otherwise great value!

Excellent Motel, extra large rooms with a couch/TV area and a bedroom area in another room… Ultra clean and lots of places to eat within walking distance. 10/10 I would stay here again.

My wife was driving for 10 hours and needed a room for her and our dog. I called this hotel and they said they had vacancies but she was busy and would call me back in15 minutes. 30 minutes later I called and told her I needed a room and my wife would be there shortly and her name is Vikki. The lady replied OK, just tell her to come on in. When she arrived the front desk clerk told her she didn't have any rooms. She is tired and po'ed and I can't blame her. I called to speak with the front desk and she did that stupid thing all customer services reps reply, "I'm sorry but I don't have any more rooms. " I'm sorry it happened. Please take you sorry attitude and carefully insert it where the sun doesn't shine. Love Vikki's husband.

I stayed here for 2 nights. The staff, was pleasant. Clean room. I had extra fees charged to my bank card a few days after my stay. Fees that were not on my bill that I had paid during check out. I have been back and forth with rude management. They, seem to think it's ok to steal money. I will not EVER stay, at a Best Western again.

Thank goodness for this hotel. I am not from Louisiana, was just passing through, and needed a place to stop for the night. I was a little wary of staying in what seemed to me to be the middle of nowhere but as soon as I got here I felt at ease. The hotel is very clean, and seems nice and new. I was also impressed by the staff who were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Since I am a woman traveling alone, they offered to put me in a room very near the lobby, so I might feel safer, a gesture that was much appreciated. Additionally, was very affordable, and the room was much nicer than I expected for the price. My one problem was the walls were fairly thin, and I had loud, active neighbors that kept me up later than I would've liked.
