Very nice, clean room with exception of microwave. It was not clean. Melted cheese inside of microwave. Breakfast was good and in a clean setting. Nearby was Dukes Seafood and Steakhouse. I highly recommend that place to eat as well as staying at Wyndham's (Days Inn)

Do not stay here. Dirty pool, dirty rooms, awful breakfast. I can't think of anything positive to say about this place. It wasn't even the cheapest place.

Many things in the rooms are broken, lamps and so on. The pool is always dirty, they don't even own a skimming net, and the cleaning traps don't even appear functional. The employees seen to try, but it's like management won't spend the money needed to make it a solid place to stay. The potential is there for a clean affordable stay.

Breakfast was terrible. Frozen eggs and cheese, toast and waffles. No meat. Room was nice though. Very comfortable beds.

The smoke detector was hanging on wire out of the ceiling, there was nasty crust on the corners of the carpet and something caked on the walls. The phone did not work at all, and apparently had been out for the last 3 days. A lightbulb broke and there was no overnight maintenance worker to help replace. The thermostat was not working. The coffee maker also did not work.

Room was nice, clean & pool area looked good, only issue I had was that the breakfast items wasn't much & the machine for the orange juice & apple juice was out of order, the two days I was staying there. Besides that a good stay I had.

Very nice and quiet room. However, something wrong with bathtub drain stopper. Pretty good breakfast.

Needs updating and maintenance of equipment. Came with group and some rooms okay and others had to be switched up to 3 times. Either because of uncleanliness or ac not functioning properly. One even left to stay at another hotel. Some staff were nice, some were not. Will not be booking this one again.

Let me first say that I have stayed at this hotel numerous times. Each time it has met my needs which is what brings me back each time. This was the first stay since the flood in 2016 and I was EXCITED to see some room updates. Also, keep in mind this is a Days Inn, and I am well aware that you do get what you pay for. This has never effected my opinion of the place. For example, we always look past the slim pickings for breakfast because we usually have left overs from dinner in the room fridge. I mean Louisiana has some great dinning options, so I would never fuss about the limited offerings of toast or cereals. What I will mention is that we stayed in room 128 and when we checked in the lady who helped us, wasn't helpful in the least. Simple questions like what place can you recommend for Louisiana Seafood confused her, because she is not from here. Maybe she had a shellfish allergy? Our room had a problem with the A/C in that it would not work. I informed the front desk we let it run for 45 mins and the room was still 78 degrees. She offered to have someone come look at it. He was prompt and tries to fix it, and it seemed to be working. Until we awoke at 2am, in a stifling hot room. It was out again. We rang the front desk who said "And what would you like me to do, I can't fix it. " Okay. BUT, even all of these reasons are still not enough to justify the low rating.

Pool area was super trashy, hotel room was decent, and food was good.

Great staff, nice clean comfortable room. Breakfast was also very good. You can tell the staff cares.

My 4 year old son and I checked into this hotel to find a woman passed out in the lobby. When we went in the room, the floor was uncleaned (laminate). There was a penny, gum wrapper, and a corner of a Magnum condom. Dust everywhere… oh and the best part? Mold and some white powdery substance in the AC unit, so we, of course, couldn't use it. When I tried to talk to the front about it, (when I tried to cancel the next night) she shrugged her shoulders and said "sorry I can't cancel it — contact the place you made the reservation. " I even showed her the pictures of the condition of the room. She didn't offer to move us or have it cleaned — nothing! We stayed only a few hours and fled the next morning as soon as my kid woke up. **disgusting.

Very clean, very comfortable, kid friendly, also very friendly staff a lot of working people stay because it's right off of the interstate so you may have trouble with parking, and breakfast is great.

Great Value for the amenities, clean, and friendly service. I would recommend it!

It was dirty, the Wi-Fi didn't work for 2 days. The service sucked they don't answer front desk phone and don't replenish the breakfast bar.

This is home away from home. Enjoy it everytime.

Basic hotel work a few good amenities: free breakfast includes things like cereal, waffles, toast and juice; public computer in lobby, complimentary USA Today newspapers, and decent Wi-Fi. Located about 30 minutes from downtown Baton Rouge in average traffic.

Im only giving 2 stars because every single employee ive encountered has been delightful. This hotel does everything all wrong. The house keeping does a good job but they start knocking on your door 830 to get in to clean it. I travel for work a lot. I havent seen a hotel where the staff is corraling you befor check out time. They have coin op vending and laundry but no change on property. Breakfast was mediocre at best. This was the kicker… mice. Two mice in my room running all over my stuff when I told the staff they were apologetic but ultimately did nothing. No elevator. Nice people but it's kind of like the owner has never stayed in a hotel let alone know how to operate one. Could be very nice but instead just doing bare minimum to get by.

Not terrible, bed was comfortable and staff was nice. There was a nasty, slightly moldy rag on top of our shower head that looked like it's been there for quite some time. Wifi was very weak on our end of the hotel. Remote only controlled the cable portion of the TV.

We asked for a non smoker room. They gave us a smoker room. Roaches. Not clean once so ever. Will not be staying here again. They need to have a lot of improvement before I will stay there again.

Do not stay at this infestation for no reason at all. Bed bugs. My husband and I were there for 3 hours. Got up, to use restroom, bedbug on wall. No refund. Money wasted. Cannot rate. Should have left when we saw stairs.

Location was quiet, even being next to the interstate. There is no elevator which was inconvenient. Breakfast was a joke.

Warning do not stay at this hotel they have roaches! I went to lay my grandaughter down and there was a roach on the bed! Also room smelled like mold we stayed with a group of people and had several room and all rooms smelled.

Exceptionally friendly staff! Gentleman at checkout was most helpful! Clean and well lit.

The toilet runs non stop. The furniture looks like it belongs to someone and they borrowing it. Screws missing on the rack in the restroom. No elevator to the top floor, the building is so hot and smells. Will not be staying here again. Looks like an apartment complex. Guess I want be to tired next time to research.

The entire place stunk & was extremely filthy. The light fixtures were hanging off of the wall, the refrigerator stunk & was unable to close, there was hair on the bathroom floor, a burn mark on the bed sheets which cut my elbow, damp carpet & to top it off, there was a man walking around with his butt literally hanging out asking people (including my boyfriend) if they were looking to get into something tonight. This hotel is a disgrace to my city.

We needed to stay for one night and it was at a good price and had the rooms available and accessible.

In handicap room, the bathroom chair was broken. The a/c didn't cool. There wasn't enough power outlets. The bed was it's only attraction. I think I've said enough?

It was very comfy. I enjoyed my time there a lot.

Imitially we were downstairs but in a handicapped room. Had we known how bad the other floors were we would not have moved. Drugs and prostitution appeared to be prevelant. Needless to say we did not spend our second night there.

Really dirty. Over priced. Staff was very nice, but that doesn't make up for a very poor place.

If you have the choice between sleeping in your car or this hotel choose your car. The hotel smells like a humid disaster. There was a roach crawling across our bathroom counter at one point. The sheets on the bed feel damp because the "air conditioning" is more like a fan. We put it on 70 degrees and were still sweating because of its inefficiency. Avoid like the plague.

Wonderful Staff, comfortable beds. Would stay again. Renovations were happening, but it was still good.

Friendly, helpful staff, great location, clean, spacious, well maintained room, clean, super comfortable bed, plenty of restaurants near by. One of my most pleasant Days Inn experiences… and I stay at Days Inn a lot. I would recommend this Days Inn with enthusiasm.

Room was clean. Beds were nice and firm. A/c unit however took a long time to cool the room. Front desk was very nice and helpful.

The Wi-Fi is terrible and the room never got cool enough.

The night lady called the cops on me for having a service animal. She claimed no pets means no service animals. She lied to the city police, claiming she was scared of me. I will never stay at another days in again. The police set her straight but no one apologized to me. The lady on shift before her did know the laws however and check in was smooth and actually enjoyable.

The rooms are nice and clean. The down side they only have 1 washer and 1 dryer, so we ended up staying up till 0100 getting laundry done. Then wake up to cold omelet and a crapy breakfast. Come on people traveling deserve better for their money. My husband is a trucker and we have been on the road for two weeks, and was on the road for Christmas too. We are trying to make it back home for a late Christmas with kids. A nice hot breakfast would have been nice.

Wanna say that I really truly enjoyed the staff and will be staying there in the near future. Because everything close by…

For the price it's a decent place, clean rooms, generally quiet even though it's close to the interstate. Sharon at the front desk was very helpful with local information and I'll stay here again.

Really Clean, Super Friendly Staff. The washer and dryer are in decent conditions. The rooms are spacious and very clean.
