Reviews of Days Inn 2*
Made reservations in July for LSU game, but when I arrived last night I was informed that my reservation was in the canceled file. The desk clerk, Layla, couldn’t tell me when, who or why it had been canceled. But I was informed that I could book a new room—-for 3x the price I paid! Also refused to let me speak to a manager! Thank goodness Travelocity came through. After speaking to Layla who repeated same info she gave me, he got us a king 1 bedroom suite at a much better hotel for the same price. Don’t know what type of scam they’re running at Seigen Inn, but I’d steer clear. I had another reservation for November but I will be canceling that, I don’t ever want to go through that again! They should be banned from all travel sites.
When we checked in we were told the cable is out. Ok no problem. We get to the room and the kids want the internet password. I called downstairs 3 times and no answer. We found the password finally but the internet wasn't working. I sent the teens go find ice. They found 3 ice maker that didn't have any ice. I called downstairs 5 times this time and no answer. I went downstairs to find the lady sitting in a dark room where she was hard to see. She didn't acknowledge me until I called out to her. I asked her about the internet and she rudely informed me that she was back there in her hiding place on it and it was fine. When I told her it wasn't working upstairs she shrugged. I then told her I tried calling and she snapped "the phones don't work! " I asked about the ice maker. I was very rudely informed it was down then hall. I asked "so there's 3 ice maker for the whole building and none work either? " By this time I'm getting mad because 1. Nothing works 2. This ladies attitude was getting to me. I said "so basically nothing works here". As I was speaking to her she moves down the counter without a word to me and started talking to the lady that just walked in. I said "I'm sorry but are you done helping me? " She ignored me! A little louder I said "Excuse me, are we done? Are you done with me? " She then, full of attitude, said "I mean, I don't know what you want me to do! " On top of all that the cute breakfast area on the website… THERE IS NO BREAKFAST!

Your employee had been asleep for hours, and later notified me (with an horrible attitude) that she is going back to sleep. Having to yell and knock viciously on the counter to get her attention is very unprofessional. After being woken up out of her beauty sleep, she refuses to let us use the washer and dryer and tells me that I’d have to pay for an extra day if I would want to extend the check out for an hour. (I just wanted time to get dressed and make sure the room is decent enough for me to leave out) The only thing left to feel is confusion because the hotel reviews and the last employee before shift change, was opened to the idea of a late check out, but we decided to stay for another day at that time. There is no one to talk to. There’s no chain of commands here. It’s no one above the front desk that works here. There are hardly any maids, and they’re service is very abrupt. They love barging in and seeing guests in their personal and private state! Having to scream at employees is very uncalled for. There is no service. I know it’s a cheap hotel, but this is also a service that people pay for. More Cons: stained sheets, leaky bathroom floor, dirty shower curtain, and my fiancé seen roaches in the front of the hotel. It also stinks of sweat and wet clothes. There’s also no breakfast, no pool activity & no one to help most of the time.
