Great and clean place to stay. The pillows are wonderful. Like a sleep number pillow. Lol. Plenty of rest. House keepers were wonderful also. They were very helpful.

We stayed here for 5 long weeks while our son was at Baton Rouge General. We stayed at the hospital for the first 2 weeks. When they found out we would be staying for awhile and why they gave us a great price. Our room was always up to par. The breakfast was great. This is the only hotel we will stay at when our son has an appointment. Matter of fact we stayed there last night. The staff is the absolutely best!

It is a nice hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable. Samuel the guy at the desk was wonderful and made check in great. The only negatives were the giant industrial light shinning into my room (the parking lot lights) and construction that the website said would be over by my stay. However the construction did not disturb me at all.

Nice and helpful staff. Clean, quiet rooms. Would definitely stay here again.

I can't comment on the room bc we never got one. I will say they have the RUDEST, most disrespectful staff I have ever seen. The man on the phone started yelling at me when I was just asking a question. I wouldn't even bother trying to stay here.

DO NOT MAKE A RESERVATION IN THIS PLACE EVER, you would not be able to cancel even if you call with a week in advanced (exact words of the hotel representative). They will charge you for the WHOLE stay. THIS information is NOT published on the EXPEDIA site nor in the hotel. Extremely rude representative when called the hotel directly. This is nothing short of a robery.

This was a nice hotel for the price, the rooms were huge and the breakfast buffet was awesome. You can tell that this was an older hotel and they really tried to modernize it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is close to downtown, Walmart, good restaurants and Tiger Stadium.

Rooms have a fantastic space and are very well kept. Great staff also.

This hotel went above and beyond to make our stay not only enjoyable but safe. The associate that checked us out, truly was a Godsend. That's why we try to stay only at Choice Hotel properties. The breakfast was very enjoyable but the dining area was a bit small and chaotic. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Great location, staff, and rooms and all for $68 a night!

The room we had was 2 beds and a bathroom. The staff was super friendly and answered questions we had. The beds were very comfortable and the towels were super fluffy. We couldn't get the TV to work, so the front desk person came to our room and got us all set up. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, they had a waffle maker that had cinnamon roll batter, yogurt, eggs, biscuits, gravy, fruit, chicken patties, toast, and a few other items. The drink choices were coffee, hot cocoa, milk, orange juice, apple juice, and water. Would use again!

Very slow. Smikering at us. I don't know if it's because we are biracial couple or what. Im from mississippi, and it was rude.

Check in to my room and it was not what I expected the room was dirty a stiff towel hanging on the shower rack I was able to write my name in the window the toilet filthy had ashes all over it this is supposed to be none smoking room floor had trash all over it only thing was good was the breakfast the staff was nice but that 3 to 11 auditor didn't know nothing and couldn't help me with nothing I'm like I got to pay for a dirty room at least he could have moved me to a clean room and the one I reserved not a knock off suite I just know I will never stay there again not in a dirty room and the messed up part he told me what you see on the internet is not what you get really! False advertising.

We did not stay here. I'm leaving this review to let people know that, when preparing for our trip, we called to confirm that this was a Pet Friendly hotel, and they told us they are NOT pet friendly, even though I found them by specifically searching "pet friendly". Just a heads up.

The hotel is located in a quiet area off College Dr. The room was comfy and spacious. Only problem was the toilet wouldn't stop running unless you took lid off and jiggled the lever.

The room was really mice, and extremely comfortable, but we were right next to the elevator and heard it each time it went off. It was difficult sleeping. Also, they had food in our refrigerator.

I addressed issues with the clerk and the housekeeping staff and they provided excuses instead of an apology. If you stay here, stick to the prepacked foods at breakfast lest you find a cold mouthful of what you thought would be hot food and what appears to be an egglike substance on your plate near the real over cooked boiled eggs. Don't expect your room to be cleaned unless you do it yourself or your do not disturb sign is never used as the staff will not come by after their initial sweep, staff that is likely to be hanging out near the elevator rather than at the front desk and the loudest heater/ac unit that money can buy. Also, the “suite” is all one room with a bed and a sofa sleeper nearby so enjoy the thin walls that allow you to hear everything that occurs in the hallway throughout the night (save the times when the heater/ac is running).

Does not appear to be poor quality initially but floors are sticky and after just 20 min in the room, allergies seriously acted up. Beds are not comfortable and general cleanliness is not good. Lastly, the location is not ideal for families — just around the corner from a strip club and a little bit off of the beaten path.

Updated and clean, a fantastic value and pleasant surprise! The breakfast was more than just bagels and cold oatmeal, they had a chef making hot hash browns, sausage, warm oatmeal with all the fixings, yogurt, etc. Great value and excellent location. Would certainly stay here again!

Love the room layouts, very comfy, not a normal smell for the bathroom bc it smelled like smoke. Neither my husband or myself smoke and it was tht way when we checked in. Great location, diner, entertainment and interstate. We love the Comfort Suites and are Choice members.

Good size two room suite for the price. Could use a little TLC though.

This place is awesome. I booked a family suite through Expedia. When we got here the room was very clean and smelled great. No stale carry over cigarette smoke smell. Very spacious. Homemade cookies in the lobby. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was awesome. I will definitely stay here again if I stay in Baton Rouge again!

Great hotel. Nice rooms and friendly staff. One of the best Choice Hotels I have stayed at. You will not regret your stay. Close to great food and entertainment. And not to far from the Interstate.

Great location. Breakfast choices were good but favored more cold breakfast items as cereal, yogurt, and boiled eggs. Rooms were nice, clean, well maintained and beds comfortable.

We will definitely stay at this hotel again. Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were clean and the whole hotel smelled great when we arrived. Breakfast was standard for a hotel and it was in a great location.

This was my 3rd time staying at this location. The first 2 visits great but this last trip. Not so much. Turned the sheets back and there were pubic hairs in the supposedly clean bed. We called down to the front desk they wanted us to move rooms at midnight but we had already unpacked and we're in night clothes. I had to go myself down to the front desk and get new bedding. My guest and I had to strip the bed and remake it after midnight. Once the sheets were stripped we found more hairs under the sheets. At check out I received a whopping $25 off. I asked for the room to be comped but of course they could not reach the general manager. The stay was very disappointing since I recommended the property to another set of friends that joined us for the LSU baseball game … all of us had traveled great distances to meet up for the event. Just very embarrassing when something like happens when your name is attached. I really think the room should have been comped considering the severity of the situation.

Clean. And loved the truck parking! Well done! Food was good to.

This place is the worst the staff steals money from your rooms. I called the police and they refused to contact their insurance they are thiefs please don't go here.

Between the location and staff this Comfort Suites location exceeds all of my wishes for when I am on the road. The staff is exceptional and always helpful with any of my odd / unique requests.

Comfortable beds, spacious room.

This was the worst manged place I have ever stayed at. First we booked the room 4 months in advanced for my son's graduation from LSU. I was coming from Florida. Mind you we called to tell them we were on our way and that we would check in late. When we got there the hotel was under total renovation. The room that we scheduled (was a handicapped room) not ready but they did give us an extra room to make up for the problem. Then I woke up at 8 o'clock to go down and get coffee when I got to the elevator there was a sign that said the elevator would be down for 24 hours due to them putting tile by the front of the elevator. The manager was in the elevator I asked him what that meant he told me that the elevator would be out of commission and that we would have to walk up 3 flights of stairs for 24 hours I advised him that we had a handicapped woman the that was not an option then he took me down the stairs and there was cigarette butts Laying all ovet the stairs as they were put out I was told that that was by the construction workers. When I got downstairs he told me that I can check out of the hotel and there was nearby hotels that I can get another room at advise him that I figured out this and that he needed to figure out a solution.

We have a room with a king bed and a pull out mattress from the couch. It's very spacious but the living area smells like urine. Very badly. The king sized bed is comfortable and the TV and everything is nice. They are remodeling so I hope that this will help with the smell! It's almost unbearable.

Great stay Justin at the front desk has a great personality and very helpful considering we didn't check in until 2am. King size bed was very comfortable and I loved the curtain that completely blocked out the sunlight.

Noisy place bar across street with a strip club. Bathroom a lil run down. Room smell. Not a good place to stay.

First off, the bedside lamp didn't work — guess why. Because there were no wall sockets close enough to plug in! WHAT A JOKE! for 2 adults checked in (& paying! ) we rec'd 1 facecloth and 1 individual packet for coffee. No reliable control for temp; it said 60 but NO WAY — it was probably locked at 72. Moldy shower curtain. FITNESS ROOM: they shouldn't be allowed to say they have a fitness room. 2 bikes, 1 unusable broken treadmill and 1 elliptical that didn't work correctly. And dead bugs in the ceiling lights, and on floor. NO TEMPERATURE CONTROL — in a glass enclosed room that in November was too hot by 9 am; no way could anyone use it in the summer. And no cups for the water dispenser. The lobby ceiling started a major leak and it wasn't raining, and hadn't rained in at least a week. We checked out early after just one night.

Very noisy next to the bars. The rooms are clean and spacious, but need work and updating. The pool is small and average, but clean. The staff is the best here. I was here for a week and everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was good.

This place had its ups and downs, but overall I would stay again. The room was fine, I found the bed comfortable and it was nice to have a fridge and microwave. Staff was friendly. The place is a little worn around the edges, but I really had no problems, and the rate couldn't be beat.
