We live in Winnfield and because of the snow lost power for several days. We were able to make it to Alexandria and Sharla took excellent care of us here. Our reservation came w early check in. I called ahead and she welcomed us and told us to come on and our room would be ready when we got here. Not only was it ready she upgraded us and took excellent care of us. The suite was so nice! This will be where we stay every time we come to Alexandria.

Room is clean people working is very nice and helpful. Don’t have any complain we have a good time and Enjoying our stay with family … thank you Wyndham garden hotel. From taylor family.

My family and escaped from hurricane Laura. And booked 3 rooms for the rate of $55 a night. When booking the rooms the lady told me I would have one suit and 2 regular rooms. Upon receiving the confirmation emails I noticed I was getting 3 suits for the rate of $55 a night. Upon arrival at the hotel we were informed we were to pay $170 a night for the rooms no matter what the confirmation email said. The manager stated there was a comment in my account stating "customer agrees to pay best price) I did not agree to that. The comment was made 5 hours AFTER I booked the rooms. Needless to say I would not recommend this hotel. They are rude and very unhelpful. They will jack the price up on people who are running from a hurricane.

I stayed here on a business trip. The hotel has been fully renovated with spacious bedrooms, very comfortable mattresses. The beautiful decor with wooden floors made me feel like home. I’ve really enjoyed my hot omelette for breakfast. Most definitely recommend this hotel!

Bed comfy smell of remodeling different story. So hope with change be awesome combo. Heard the pool was nice. To bad I didn't try it out.

I’ve stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions the staff is very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make sure you don’t need anything. The receptionist Rebeca has always got kind words and willing to make sure your taken care of. The hotel is currently being remodeled so you have to excuse the progress.

I stayed at this hotel for a week for a softball tournament, we had to beg for towels and wash cloths. They have mold everywhere and are painting over it. The staff of was rude and our rooms were NEVER clean. They took out the trash maybe once. The shower curtains were molded. The THIRD floor is disgusting it is molded beyond! Never stay here no matter what. It might be the cheapest but it's the nastiest!

This was the dirtiest hotel room I saw have ever experienced and if the town had not been completely booked all weekend we would have walked out. I cleaned the room with Lysol wipes that I thank God brought with me. We were given a handicapped accessible room which we did not request. The bathroom had someone else’s toothpaste all over the faucet and same spit all over the mirror. No soap available throughout the hotel from what other guest told us. The mirror in the room was black more than halfway down (I have pictures). It was disgusting enough that the housekeeper’s husband got a replacement for us. This was FAR below Wyndham standards. They told us at check in that they were in the process of a changeover. This was totally false advertising as they had not even started. I was in the hotel/motel business for 23 years and would not put a dog in a place like this! We saw several people walk out and heard even more complaints throughout our stay but again, the town was completely booked as there were apparently 3 large events going on that weekend.

Only 2 complaints I have is the room I was in did not have a microwave which it should have. I said something upon check out because I didnt want them to think I took it and was told they know it wasnt in there. So why put me in that room? Also the room sweated … floors, walls, TV and everything was wet I guess thats why there is a humidifier type machine in there as well as A/C. The room had an old mildewey type smell once the air was cut off which is probably the result of the moisture in room. I was only there for 12 hours so I didnt make a big issue but I could now have stayed in that room for days… Unhealthy. Other than those 2 issues everything else was nice and I would possibly there again just not in that room.

My Kid's and I stay here every time we come to visit my husband. And we love it. Very clean, friendly, and the morning breakfast is awesome! We coming back again this weekend!

My husband has been staying at this location for work. He woke up with bites all over him! After doing some looking the room he was in had bed bugs!

If I could give no stars, THATS WHAT I WOULD DO because this place has such HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I mean my family and I stayed for a weekend and EVERYTIME We came to the front desk the manager (a man) would be cussing and talking trash LOUDLY I might add in the back office, I had my 3yr old child with me a couple of those times. I mean you walk past the front desk to get to the pool so that's why we were at the front desk a lot. I'm just disappointed and definitely do not recommend! Also, on a side note, their rewards program also has horrible customer service with rude and downright lazy staff! The Baymont did not impress me at ALL!

Didn't much care for the customer service here at all. Manger was very rude and unhelpful about ANYTHING. BUT the room was nice and very nice pool and spa area.

I've stayed here many times. The remodeling looks great. Service is great… breakfast is good too.

The hotel is at a good location but easily missed because it sits behind the Alexandria Convention Center.

Didnt anything work in the first room got in the sec room was ok but the heat or air work an no microwave and key didn't work to my door the whole time I was there people was nice doe.

One of the best hotels ever to stay with I've been here several times in the last 18 months I come out here to visit my grandchildren and I've had them here in the Hotel this hotel is safe to come here alone as a female the staff is courteous friendly and extremely helpful for anything you may need or want if you're out here this is the hotel you stay at it's centrally located for anything you may need in the surrounding areas so this is where I recommend you stay.

The staff was very friendly and professional and my room was clean. Breakfast was fairly basic but plentiful. Staff were very responsive to the issues I brought to them but most of my observations are not something to be addressed by the front desk. There is a general air of neglect about the place; scuff marks on walls and doors and the curtain rod for my shower was loose. I had an issue with the remote to the TV not working. I thought it was a battery issue, but turned out that the remote was older and the power button just needed to be pressed ridiculously hard to get it to work. More concerning were a number of doors that appeared to have been forced open or that had wires hanging out of the lock plates. I found I didn't need to use my key card to get back in the building because the door doesn't close securely on its own.

Decent little motel, beds was comfortable, it wasn't the cleanest, but wasn't no where near the dirtiest either. One great thing was that it did come with a hot free breakfast and didn't break the bank staying here, Santana is the manager and she was awesome to deal with. If you need to cater an event with food or without she can handle it cause they also have a convention center as well, all in all for the money this was a good decent motel, and they do give great group rates, Thanks Santana.

While the room was very clean. The breakfast didnt last as long as we expected, but the bed… was as hard as a rock. Really felt like sleeping on the floor!

Friday night we checked in for a Pageant being held next door at the convention center. My daughter, who got there before me, requested maintenance for the TV that didn't work. No one showed, I called when I arrived to the room. Someone came from the front desk and tried to fix it but couldn't. He was very nice and offered to move us to another room. My granddaughter and I got the new key to check the room before we moved everything, thank goodness!. While I was checking out the tv, I felt stinging on my feet. I looked down and my feet were covered with fleas! We ran out trying to brush the fleas off. Notified the front desk, took off our clothes in the hall, bagged them in a garbage bag. Took a shower, told them we were leaving and made sure we were not charged. Found nice accommodations at the Candlewood suites across the street. The people were nice, but the building was not! Wouldn't recommend or stay there ever! The only reason I gave it one star because it won't post until you choose the number of stars. I give it a zero.

This place is absolutely unsanitary and DIRTY. We had to find another hotel after driving all night to, what we thought, was a decent hotel by the pictures. The pictures do not show just how gross this place is. I was completely shocked as I had never seen a hotel so unkempt. Not only was it dirty, the person at the front desk was very inattentive and sat on his phone for the 20 minutes we were there. He was so into his phone he booked us into a room that already had someone staying in it. Also, the hotel is way back off the road in a dark, unlit parking lot next to abandoned buildings. I did not feel safe at this hotel. Do not stay here!

I guess nowadays u have to damn near pay over a bill to get a nice and decent room… anything under $100. Pretty much sucks.

Worst hotel experience ever! We checked in at 3 pm Saturday and not even an hour in and we got two cleaning ladies walked in. One of the times I was not wearing clothes! If I could've just left and got another hotel room I would've but I had no money! They still have not called me about this or anything! I checked out Monday.

Super awesome hotel. Really great breakfast. Nice, affordable rooms. One of the coolest pools I've seen at a hotel. Two large hot tubs. Would highly recommend to travellers.

There were a culmination of small-ish issues that lead to an overall negative experience. There were two light bulbs out in our rooms. Phone in room was dead and did not work at all. Pull out bed had no linens at all. Bathroom was hot and humid when we arrived. Some areas of hotel appeared dingy. Some stains on Main bee's linens. Breakfast had half the buffet missing. Not impressed with first stay. Probably will not return.

Everyone at this hotel is very nice and go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Have stayed at this hotel for the past 5 weeks. It's a cozy place to stay away from home. I would recommend this hotel if you are traveling and need a place to stay. Just love all the people that we have met while we have been here. Thanks alot to the front desk and staff for making us feel important. You guys do an awesome job.

Came for a Bike Fest and wanted to check in before we went. We were told we couldn't check in until 3 o'clock (which is what the website says) however, at 3 o'clock we sign in and they tell us no rooms are clean and we have to wait longer. They now have a lobby full of mad bikers that have driven for hours and just want to rest. The breakfast room is under renovations which we were not made aware of. The parking lot is really rough and the lobby has buckets everywhere from leaking ceilings making the floors slick. Let's pray the beds are comfortable (if we ever get to go to our room to check them out). update: it's 5:30pm and our room is still not ready to check in to. We have canceled our room and gone to the bentley hotel. Check them out! great service and an amazingly beautiful hotel!

Staff is AMAZING! Hotel needs to be upgraded, I actually saw a roach in my room, the bed skirt was torn and this hotel charges 100$ for incidentals, half of the doors don't work when u put your key in from the outside, I don't recommend this hotel. The housekeepers are also very nice and helpful to the best of their ability, not to mention the lamps are visibly rusted down badly. I think u may want to rethink staying at this hotel unless u don't mind the issues listed above.

Stayed there March 20-24, 2016. Worst hotel stay ever. No service, one towel set was issued for 3 ladies; no toilet paper was ever issued beyond the first roll. We had to buy towels and toilet paper. The room was not cleaned; things left by the previous customer were still in the room. My group books 100 rooms and have booked 100 for next year. I will not be staying there again.

This by far has been the worst hotel, rooms are dirty, the whole day without housekeeping cleaning our room, one bath towel per room, ran out of milk at breakfast, just bad bad.

I stayed in Sai Hotel and Convention 26/12/2015. I stayed for one night when he visited Alexandria, Louisiana. I was with my family. Attended us very well. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were also very good. The shower was in perfect condition. There was a good selection at breakfast. My sister was given account that was taking expired chocolate milk. Notify it staff and instantly replaced it ourselves. Something that can be improved is the Wi-Fi. It was pretty slow. In conclusion, my family was very happy with the stay. If for some reason he would return to Alexandria, Louisiana, would choose Sai Hotel and Convention as place where make my stay.

Omg. I am so upset I gave this unknown hotel chain a chance. Beyond Pissed. Christmas Vacay on way home we had reservatiojns for here because of the picturesd oin the website looked so nice. The hotel was so run down. The pool looked like a dried up nasty grimy swamp. The room was so small but not terrible. Beds were okay. Pillows were about 100 years old. The bathroom had nasy pubic hair and head hair all over the floor and tub. Beyond disgusted. Thank God it was a short stay to just sleep. Also the HOT breakfast was disgusting and cold and hard. The milks were expired and we watched several people complain and some not even finish their plate. Do not stay here. I have children and would never have them saty here would rather a low budget motel than this. Don't let the pictures fool you. They also don't tell you they take an extra $100 to hold on your card while staying there. Bs. Never again.

The staff was beyond amazing! I couldn't get a taxi and they not only helped me try to find one but when we couldn't a worker got his wife to drive me to my airport. I'm so thankful go the staff at this hotel and made my flight in time thanks to them!

Small rooms, that stink like mildew, not to mention if you want that continental breakfast you must eat in the front lobby they will not allow you to bring your plate back to your room to eat in comfort, room was also not stocked Properly, nothing works they get the TV on but cable was in and out the hole time it was worse than watching free TV and the Wi-Fi sucks pour signal.
